Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Having made up his mind, Xuan Hao focused his attention on his partially merged domain. Even though his ice domain and sword domain had not yet fully merged together, he could still clearly feel how much the power of his domain had increased after the partial merger.

Fully merging his two domains together into one, the power of his domain would surly reach a brand new level that would allow him to break through the though defences of the demonic cultivator and kill him!

Swish-!

Not wasting any time, Xuan Hao directly forced his ice and sword domain to merge together. Instantly causing a violent ice storm to engulf the area over five miles around him.

Not only did the ice storm created by him fully merging his two domains together fully end up freezing everything around him, but the demonic cultivator standing no more than a few hundred meters away from him was also swallowed up by the violent ice storm-

BOOOOM-!

Directly forcing him to erupt with a power demonic energy that protected his physical body and resisted the ever-present ice qi from the violent ice storm. Preventing it from entering his body and freeze his soul.

Shing~!

However, the ice storm manifesting was not the end, as an even more terrifying sea of swords emerged with Xuan Hao at the centre before merging together perfectly with the ice storm to create a massive domain spanning five miles in all directions!

The domain not only froze everything it came in contact with, but the sea of swords hidden within the ice storm also sliced through everything it came into contact with.

Ptsh!

Ptsh!

Ptsh!

Having to deal with both an endless sea of swords cutting into him together with the ice qi trying to invade his body and freeze his soul, the demonic cultivator quickly began losing control of his body as the combined might of the ice and sword domain was far too much for him to resist!

ROAR!

Whoosh-!

Knowing that he would not be able to last inside Xuan Hao’s domain for long, the demonic cultivator was not stupid enough to stay and decided to escape in the opposite direction of Xuan Hao. Wanting to leave the domain as quickly as possible.

”Think I will let you escape that easily!?”

Feeling the strain on his soul from forcefully merging his ice and sword domain together into a single domain, Xuan Hao understood that he wouldn’t be able to keep up his current state for a long time.

In such a situation, there was no way he was going to let the demonic cultivator run away and wait for him to run out of energy!

BOOOM-!

Barely managing to control his now massive domain, Xuan Hao forcefully formed a massive pair of ice hands to grab hold of the large body of the demonic cultivator trying to escape before forcing him to the ground.

RUMBLE-!

”ROAR! HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME! I WILL TEAR YOU APART WHEN I GET FREE!”

Understanding that his life was at risk, the demonic cultivator roared angrily on the ground while trying to free himself from the grasp of the massive pair of ice hands formed by Xuan Hao’s domain.

Crack~

Given just how strong the demonic cultivator was, it did not take more than a few seconds for him to start weakening the massive hands formed by Xuan Hao’s domain as several cracks began forming all over them. Showing that they would break apart at any moment and free the demonic cultivator.

”Hmph!”

However, Xuan Hao already predicted this and by the time the demonic cultivator was just about to break free from the giant ice hands, as a massive sword of ice over a dozen meters in height rapidly started forming above the demonic cultivator.

BOOM!

Erupting with even more strength than before to break free from the ice hands, the demonic cultivator’s entire body shone in a bright crimson colour as the cracks on the pair of ice hands holding him in place rapidly began expanding before-

BANG!

Shattering under the might of the demonic cultivator!

”HAHA! FINALLY FREE AGAIN!”

Laughing loudly after freeing himself, the demonic cultivator was just about to escape from Xuan Hao’s domain when he suddenly looked up and felt a shiver run down his spine.

Having been too focused on trying to break free from the giant pair of ice hands holding him in place on the ground and due to Xuan Hao doing his best to hide the presence of the sword with his domain, the demonic cultivator didn’t notice when the massive sword that was now hanging above him filled with killing intent had formed.

Shing-!

Not giving the demonic cultivator any time to react after breaking free from the restraints of the massive pair of ice hands, the ice sword hanging in the air above the demonic cultivator quickly descend. Carrying the power of the perfectly merged ice and sword domain along with it!

”DAMN YOU!”

Using all his strength to form a crimson barrier to block the descending sword, the demonic cultivator could not help cursing at Xuan Hao as he watched the sword hit his crimson barrier.

BOOOOOOOOM-!

Barely lasting for a little over a second against the power of the descending sword of ice, the demonic cultivator could not help screaming out in pain as the sword broke through his crimson barrier and directly pierced through his massive body and reached his soul.

”AAAaaAAhHHhhhHHhh-!”

Although the pain he felt only lasted for a short moment before he was killed by the sword, this short moment felt like an eternity, as the pain from having his soul frozen before being cut into a million pieces by the power of the ice sword was far more terrifying compared to any torture he had ever practiced over his long years as a demonic cultivator.

Following the death of the demonic cultivator, the sword no longer had anything blocking its path and directly pierced into the ground below-

RUMBLE-!

Piercing a few meters into the ground, the surrounding area shook violently as everything within a hundred miles of the impact zone was instantly transformed into a frozen hell with anything inside being frozen to death.

”STOP!”

Feeling that the frozen hell created by the ice sword was still expanding as the ice sword moved deeper into the ground, Xuan Hao used all his strength to stop the ice sword from piecing any further into the ground.

BOOM!

As the ice sword stopped piercing further into the ground, the frozen hell created by it stopped expanding.

At this point in time, the frozen hell had already expanded to cover hundreds of miles in all directions around it and was only a few miles away from where the Ascendant Frost Hall was located.

”To think the strength of perfectly merging two domains together is this powerful... If I’m not wrong, the strength of this attack should have reached the Soul Ascension Realm...” Muttering this to himself as he exhaustedly sat on top of the ice sword after having stopped the ice sword from causing any further damage, Xuan Hao could not help marveling at the strength of the combined power of his two domains.

Even if he had ended up exhausting almost all of his strength for only a single attack, the power of that single attack was far stronger than any attack he had learned so far.

”Hm... I will call it Descend of the Ice God’s Sword...”

Coming up with a new name for his new move, Xuan Hao could not help chuckling to himself as he soon stood up before leaving in the direction of the Ascendant Frost Hall.

The frozen hell created by his attack was not really anything Xuan Hao cared about clearing up as it was located inside the Frozen Wasteland.

Thinking a bit further about it, the frozen hell created by using his first ever personal technique, Descend of the Ice God’s Sword, would serve as a barrier preventing the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wasteland from entering the Azure Sky Kingdom and any of the kingdoms close to the Azure Sky Kingdom that similarly bordered the Frozen Wastelands.

In the end, it looked like Xuan Hao had ended up creating a barrier that would keep the Ascendant Frost Hall safe from the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wasteland by accident...

On one side, this was really not something Xuan Hao expected to happen... But on the other hand, this would give him a lot more time to explore the Frozen Wasteland and look for the reason why the demonic cultivators became so active all of a sudden.

Of course, exploring the Frozen Wasteland would have to wait until he met with the sect master of the Ascendant Frost Hall and got his hands on their unique cultivation mantra for his sect quest!

Even if he wanted to explore the Frozen Wasteland, completing the sect quest that would help increase his strength took priority.
