Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”… And that’s it for today’s lecture!” Finishing his lecture, Xuan Hao glanced towards the young disciples in front of him sitting motionless as they tried utilizing what they had just learned to improve their cultivation realm.

Even Bai Ning sitting beside him did not seem to register that the lecture had already finished, as he was fully absorbed on meditating like the rest of the young disciples who had participated in the lecture. Not only that, but Xuan Hao could clearly feel that Bai Ning was about to reach the Peak of the Ninth Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm, with some help, he might even be able to directly break through to the Foundation Establishment Realm over the next few hours!

Boom!

Just at this moment, one of the disciples fully focused on cultivating broke through a minor realm in the Qi Condensation Realm. Going from the Seventh Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm to the Eight Stage of the Qi Condensation Realm.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

This was quickly followed by several other disciples breaking through shortly after. However, they still didn’t get up yet, as they instead focused on stabilizing their cultivation realm.

From the looks of it, it should at the very least take a few hours before all of them had finished and were ready to leave…

[Sect Quest: Hold a cultivation lecture for the disciples of the Flying Sword Sect. (complete)]

[Choose one of the following rewards upon completion: Spirit Stones, Specialized Cultivation Mantras, Qi Techniques, Spiritual Herbs, Spiritual Metals.]

[Repeatable: Once every 3 months]

[Time left until available: 3 months]

Deciding to pull up the sect quest that he had just completed with the conclusion of the lecture, Xuan Hao thought about which of the rewards he should choose.

The spirit stones were out of the option, as he was not really in need of any spirit stones at the moment, and he had no idea what grade or how many spirit stones would be given to him for completing the sect quest.

The same could be said about the spiritual herbs and spiritual metals, as neither were anything that would be that useful for him in his current situation. The only reason he might choose the spiritual herb option would be to try and get a spiritual herb that could help Elder Song recover the damage inflicted to his soul, or maybe one that would help him when it came to repairing Zhu Lian’s damaged body.

Outside of that, the best thing to choose would be the qi techniques and specialized cultivation mantras!

Even if both of them were useless to him and his disciples, he could always give them to the sect and help increase the number of qi techniques and cultivation mantras available to the younger generation.

However then again, if he missed a chance to get a spiritual herb that could help Zhu Lian or Elder Song, he would surely come to regret it in the future…

[Spiritual Herbs have been chosen as the reward! Are you sure?]

[Y/N]

Yes!

Choosing to go with spiritual herbs in the end even though they might not be the best option, Xuan Hao nervously watched the system screen changing before displaying a list of spiritual herbs that had automatically been transferred to his spatial ring.

”Woodfire Tree Leaves, Ring Flower Roots, Earth Dragon Fruit…” Muttering the names of the different spiritual herbs that he had been rewarded out loud, Xuan Hao could not help frowning the further down the list he went.

The spiritual herbs he had been rewarded, while still rare, they were nothing too special. After having gone through over half on the list. None of them had reached above the Soul Grade…

”Spirit Blood Leaf!”

About to give up hope of there being anything useful among the spiritual herbs from the system, Xuan Hao could not help exclaiming excitedly upon reading the last of the spiritual herbs on the list.

While it was still not a Mystic Grade and only at the Soul Grade, the Spirit Blood Leaf was a magical spiritual herb when it came to helping someone in the Nascent Soul Realm rebuild their body after it had been destroyed. Perfect for helping Zhu Lian recover from her current situation!

Not to mention, given that her body had not been completely destroyed, she might even be able to use the remaining power of the Spirit blood Leaf to break through to the Second Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

Even if he did not get anything that would be able to help out Elder Song, Xuan Hao was more than happy with the reward from the system.

Zhu Lian’s situation was also a bit more urgent compared to Elder Song, as he should not have any obvious problems while cultivating after recovering from the injuries he had just received and would only really start seeing problems when he began the initial steps of constructing his own domain.

Given that he could do the lecture sect quest once every three months, he should be able to get something that would be able to help Elder Song at some point. Hopefully before he reached the later stages of the Nascent Soul Realm and tried to construct his own pseudo domain…

In the worst-case scenario, he would just have to go out and search for something that would be able to treat Elder Song’s condition! Maybe asking a well-connected Domain Lord like Yi Min for help was also an option-

”No, I should not bother her any more for now…”

Shaking his head as he thought about Yi Min, Xuan Hao smiled awkwardly as he returned his attention to the disciples sitting in front of him cultivating or stabilizing their cultivation base after just having broken through.

”Hm?”

Turning his attention away from the young disciples meditating silently in front of him, Xuan Hao could not help raising his eyebrow as he noticed close to a hundred disciples standing just outside the hall.

Whoosh~

Using his divine, Xuan Hao quickly realized that the close to hundred young disciples standing outside the hall were the disciples who had not arrived within the hour time limit he had given.

Instead of leaving, they had instead decided to patiently wait in front of the hall for the lecture to finish…

”I see, they hope I will give them some guidance on the way out? Well, I don’t really have much to do for the next hour or so…”

Understanding the intentions of these young disciples, Xuan Hao decided to teach them for a bit until those inside the hall started waking up.

Even if he had far less time, Xuan Hao was more than happy to teach these young disciples instead of mindlessly waiting inside the hall.

”Hm, I should have more than enough time to go over the Qi Condensation Realm in an hour. Even if not as detailed, it should still be beneficial for these young ones…”

Swish~

Muttering these words to himself, Xuan Hao disappeared from the hall and appeared outside in an instant without anyone inside the hall discovering that he had left.

…

Outside the hall, the disciples who were waiting for the lecture to conclude did not take long to discover Xuan Hao who had suddenly appeared in front of the entrance out of thin air.

”E-Elder Xuan!?”

”Elder Xuan is here!”

”It’s really Elder Xuan!”

Feeling the nervousness and excitement of these young disciples the moment, they saw him, Xuan Hao smiled happily as he felt the gazes of over a hundred young disciples between the ages 12 to 17 focus on to him.

Even if there were a few unfriendly gazes among these young disciples, Xuan Hao ignored them. Understanding that it came from some of those unhappy with the test he had given them to join the lecture in the hall.

”Hello everyone, you should already know who I am, and I won’t bother to go through a long drawn out introduction. Today, I happen to have some time left after today’s lecture and seeing as those inside the hall are busy absorbing what they managed to learn from my lecture, I decided to hold a short one-hour lecture on the QI Condensation Realm for all of you!”

As he finished saying this, Xuan Hao saw the large group of young disciples quiet down as they all showed a surprised expression on their small faces.

It was a given, as none of them had expected Xuan Hao to do something like this and had instead expected to be given a few spirit stones or something along that line. Maybe a few words of guidance if they were lucky.

For them to get a one-hour lecture on the Qi Condensation Realm from a Domain Lord Realm Expert… Even those unhappy with the test could not help feeling excited as they looked towards Xuan Hao filled with anticipation. None of them questioning why Xuan Hao was the only one who had left the hall after his lecture had ended, being too focused on Xuan Hao.

”Haha, it’s great to see all of you so excited to listen! Well then, let’s begin~”

Seeing the large flock of disciples waiting for him to start, Xuan Hao didn’t drag on any longer, as he began the short lecture of the Qi Condensation Realm for the younger disciples who had failed his test and arrived at the hall late.
