Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Swish~

Moving through the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao soon found himself back in Zu Fei’s pavilion. The only difference this time around, was the fact that Zu Fei had still not returned. After a quick look around the sect, Xuan Hao realized that she was apparently still looking for Feng Chen-

”Ah… Looks like they ran into each other…” Seeing Zu Fei finally find Feng Chen as he was making his way back towards her pavilion where he had been doing most of his work after his own pavilion was destroyed, Xuan Hao decided to look away.

After all, from what he knew about Zu Fei, he had a feeling that Feng Chen would not be having a good time ahead of him… At least Feng Chen’s sacrifice would allow him to freely move around Zu Fei’s pavilion without having to come up with an excuse as to why he had returned within such a short period of time…

Walking towards the location of Song Jia, Xuan Hao had momentarily focused his attention on Feng Chen and Zu Fei, as he didn’t notice the fact that he had already arrived inside a small flower garden where Song Jia was currently playing around.

”Elder Xuan…?”

Hearing the all too familiar young voice calling out to him, Xuan Hao returned his attention to his surroundings.

”Hm?”

Only to discover that Song Jia had already arrived in front of him as she was curiously looking up at him with her cloudy pair of eyes that seemed to directly see through the domain, he had used to hide himself from any of Zu Fei’s disciples that were walking around inside the pavilion at all times.

In front of Song Jia, his domain was completely useless when it came to hiding… Something that made Xuan Hao feel amazed every time he witnessed this special ability to easily find him no matter how well he tried hiding himself.

”Song Jia, we meet again!”

”Yes… Is there a reason why Elder Xuan has come to visit me again…? Not that I have anything against it! It’s rather boring in here now that sister Zu Fei left…”

Not knowing what to say as he had been the reason why Zu Fei had left her alone; Xuan Hao felt a bit embarrassed for a short moment before remembering the reason why he had come back.

”There is indeed a reason why I came back again, Elder Song entrusted me with your medicine and asked me to give it to you as he is quite busy at the moment…” Saying this, Xuan Hao waited for Song Jia to respond as he was curious over whether she would willingly take her medicine.

”I see… It’s that time already, let’s get it done quickly…” Acting far more mature than Xuan Hao had expected her to, Song Jia let out a sigh before sitting down on a nearby bench. Prepared to take her medicine without the slightest form of resistance.

From the looks of it, it seemed like she already had some idea as to what medicine she would be taking and was ready to face it.

Well… She did take a demonic medicinal potion before, so the resigned expression on her face was expected. After all, taking a demonic medicinal potion was a painful thing. Especially considering how strong the demonic medicinal potion she had been taking was, there was a chance it was just barely at a level that it did not kill her after consumption.

Hopefully the potion I made will work and won’t be as painful…

Thinking this to himself as he saw the resigned expression on the little girl’s face, Xuan Hao took out the medicinal potion he had made before he helped Song Jia drink it.

”Mhh?!” Clearly feeling the difference in the potion compared to the one she had been used to taking once every year, Song Jia showed a surprised expression on her face for a short moment before greedily swallowing the rest of the potion.

The potion tasted far too different compared to the demonic medicinal potion she was used to taking, as it had a strawberry flavour, while the demonic medicinal potion she had been taking before tasted more like sewer water mixed together with the decomposing body of some dead animal…

The difference between the two potions was like the difference between heaven and earth!

Not only that, but Song Jia clearly felt the clear difference the moment it entered her stomach, as there was not the slightest bit of pain. Instead, a comfortable warmth spread all over her body before gathering towards her eyes.

”Mwah~”

Feeling this, Song Jia could not stop herself from letting out a small happy sound, as she felt the warmth from the potion surge towards her eyes. However, as the warmth spread towards her eye, Song Jia felt herself slowly slip into dreamland.

Zzzz~

Before long, Song Jia’s gentle breathing could be heard as she had directly fallen asleep while sitting on the bench… If not for Xuan Hao acting fast to support her body, she might have fallen to the ground due to suddenly falling asleep while sitting up.

”Looks like the potion is working as expected…” Muttering this to himself as he inspected the current situation inside Song Jia’s body, Xuan Hao could not help letting out a breath of relief as he watched the potion taking action to supress the black spots inside Song Jia’s eyes.

Whoosh~

Not a single bit of the potions power was wasted as all of it gathered in both her eyes to supress the black spots that had grown increasingly big over the past few hours.

Observing this, Xuan Hao still did not dare take his eyes of Song Jia’s situation, as he understood that even the slightest mistake might end up costing Song Jia her life. The potion was simply way to powerful for her small body to endure with only the strength of someone in the Foundation Establishment Realm.

This was also the reason why Xuan Hao had made sure that the potion made Song Jia fall asleep before it began the process of supressing the black spots in her eyes.

The reason for this, was that the process of supressing the black spots in her eyes was extremely painful. Even if he did not use the demonic medicinal potion, this pain could not be prevented…

For this reason, making Song Jia sleep through the process was the best solution he could come up with. At least this way, she would not have to go through the pain like she had in the past when she had consumed the demonic medicinal potion.

”I will have to find a permanent solution to this disease before next year…” Muttering this to himself while watching as the black spots were supressed, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he felt Song Jia’s entire body trembling violently in his embrace. Although she was unconscious, the pain still managed to cause her body to tremble violently!

Not only that, but Xuan Hao clearly felt that the potion was far too powerful for her body to bear as her dantian started showing signs of collapsing at any moment due to the violent battle taking place in her eyes between the potion trying to supress and the black spots trying to resist the suppression.

Whoosh~

Injecting part of his own qi into her body to stabilize her dantian, Xuan Hao watched her trembling stop for a moment as he managed to stabilize her slowly deteriorating situation.

Like this, Xuan Hao silently sat on the bench with Song Jia in his embrace for the next two hours, as he made sure that the black spots in her eyes were properly supressed by his potion without anything going wrong in the process.

Not only that, but Xuan Hao clearly felt that the potion was far too powerful for her body to bear as her dantian started showing signs of collapsing at any moment due to the violent battle taking place in her eyes between the potion trying to supress and the black spots trying to resist the suppression.

The battle between the two ended with the black spots being successfully supressed, but Xuan Hao was not the slightest bit happy, as he could clearly feel that Song Jia’s body had been extremely exhausted by this ordeal. Not only that, but without him present to keep her body under control, Xuan Hao was certain that Song Jia would have died after consuming his potion!

Although the demonic medicinal potion was far more painful to use and the cost of making it was far more. At least it allowed Song Jia to consume it without any risk of dying as a result.

To consume the more effective potion he had made, it would require someone who had at least reached the Domain Lord Realm to support them through the process from start to finish until the black spots were properly supressed…

”Hah… At least this does not require anyone to waste their lifespan…” Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao watched Song Jia’s eyebrows tremble slightly as she was about to wake up.

”Mhm~”
