Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Recovering from the injuries he had received during his encounter with the group of Core Formation Realm demon beast, Chu Yang directly took out the transparent stones he had gathered so far before absorbing all of them at once.

Not even a second later, his dantian was filled up with the weird foreign energy that had been stored inside the transparent stones he had gathered from the bodies of the Core Formation Realm demon beasts he had killed.

The difference compared to the first time around when he had accidently absorbed the first transparent stone, was that he now understood that the weird energy that was now present inside he dantian could be refined and absorbed by his golden core!

Whoosh!

Knowing what to do this time around, Chu Yang didn’t waste any time, as he directed the foreign energy from the transparent stone towards his golden core.

Controlling it, as it slowly got refined and absorbed by his golden core. Allowing his strength to rapidly increase-

BOOM!

Having already reached the Peak of the First Stage of the Core Formation Realm, Chu Yang managed to directly breakthrough to the Second Stage of the Core Formation Realm just after he began absorbing the refined energy from the transparent stones he had just absorbed.

However, this was not the end of it, as he had only gone through a small amount of the energy contained inside the transparent stones.

Today, he planned to not only break through to the Second Stage of the Core Formation Realm, but he planned to reach the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm. Depending on how unstable his foundation was after reaching the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm, Chu Yang even planned to attempt a breakthrough to the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm!

If he really managed to reach the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm, the group of demon beasts that had ganged up on him earlier, would be far easier to deal with.

Even if he was not too certain about their strength, as he did not have the time to careful inspect them given the situation at the time, Chu Yang did not expect for any of them to be above the Sixth Stage of the Core Formation Realm.

After all, he was certain that they would not have let him escape if one of them had managed to reach step into the late stage of the Core Formation Realm!

It didn’t matter if he reached the Third or Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm, he would still have to be cautious when facing over a dozen demon beasts in the Core Formation Realm. Trying to catch them alone and take them out one by one would be a far better plan than to face all of them at once…

Thinking about all of this, Chu Yang shook his head as he focused his full attention on refining the foreign energy inside his dantian and turn it into his own strength.

BOOM!

Not even thirty minutes after his breakthrough to the Second Stage of the Core Formation Realm, Chu Yang felt his strength increase once again, as he broke through to the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm.

However, this did not come without cost, as Chu Yang clearly felt that his foundation had become unstable after breaking through two minor realms at once.

Not only that, but the energy required for him to reach the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm was far more than he had first expected. Breaking through to the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm with the remaining energy of the transparent stones would be impossible…

For this reason, Chu Yang decided to stop trying to increase his cultivation realm for now and instead focused the remaining energy from the transparent stones inside his dantian on stabilizing his current cultivation realm.

…

”Haa…”

Letting out a breath of air as he opened his eyes after having spent close to half a day stabilizing his current cultivation realm, Chu Yang could not help smiling happily to himself after discovering how much he had managed to improve after reaching the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm.

Not only had his strength increased, but he could also feel that the durability of his body had increased by a lot.

Ching~

”To think my defence improved by so much…” Trying to use his spear to cut into his skin with the strength of someone in the Foundation Establishment Realm, Chu Yang could not help showing a surprised expression when noticing that he could not cut into it-

Ptsh-!

Only when his strength increased to the Core Formation Realm could he even pierce through his own skin!

The durability of his body was far more than before and could be said to be comparable to a demon beast!

”With this…. Even if I’m not in the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm, I should still be able to survive an encounter with the group of Core Formation Realm demon beasts from earlier!” Muttering this to himself as he realized this, Chu Yang could not help narrowing his eyes as he remembered the demon beasts that had ganged up on him and tried to kill him.

If not for the help of the hill sized boar demon beast, he would not have been able to escape after having been surrounded by the Core Formation Realm demon beasts. However, things were different now!

”Now… I can hunt the Core Formation Realm demon beasts inside the ancient city ruins without worry! Maybe, I will be able to gather enough transparent stones to reach the Fourth Stage of the Core Formation Realm!”

Swish~!

Not staying still inside the place where he had hidden while breaking through to the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm, Chu Yang silently snuck back outside before beginning his search for any of the Core Formation Realm demon beasts that had ganged up on him earlier.

For now, Chu Yang had decided to first target the demon beasts that had ganged up on and attacked him before moving on to the rest of the demon beasts inside the ancient city ruins!

…

After he had escaped close to one day ago, the group of demon beasts had searched for him for close to half a day before giving up and returning to their own homes thinking that the human had already left the ancient city ruins in fear of them finding him.

Roar!

It was at this moment that a painful roar sounded through the core area of the ancient city ruins, as the group of Core Formation Realm demon beasts quickly rushed over. Only to discover that the roar belonged to the hill sized boar demon beast.

Not only that, but when they arrived, it had already died, as the large body of the boar could be seen lying on the ground with several holes all over it. Especially so around the chest area, where it looked like someone had deliberately dogged into its body!

Roar!

It did not take long for one of the demon beasts in the group to discover the aura of a human lingering in the air around the dead body of the boar demon beast. Not to mention it was a human’s doing, it was clearly the human who had escaped earlier who had done it!

Even worse, they found out that he had already killed, and it was the boar that was regarded highly for its defence nonetheless…

The demon beasts clearly understood what this meant for them… If the human could kill the boar demon beast before they even had the time to arrive and help, it meant that the human had the strength to kill most of them in a similar fashion…

Roar!

ROOOAR!

Roar!

For this reason, the weaker Core Formation Realm demon beast in the group began panicking, as they understood that they might be next after the boar demon beast.

After all, the human was clearly targeting them already and it would be obvious that he would target the weaker once in their group first!

ROOOAR!

Knowing the situation was not great, an unfamiliar demon beast who was not present in the earlier siege on Chu Yang roared loudly, as the panicking demon beasts quickly calmed down.

From this alone, it could be seen that the unfamiliar demon beast was stronger than the others and at the same time seemed like it was in control.

Roar Roar Roar!

Saying something to the other demon beasts, the unfamiliar leader of the demon beast group soon left. The rest of the demon beasts did the same. However, compared to how they had arrived at the scene, the demon beasts all left in groups of two.

Clearly, the leader had instructed for them to gather together so they could work together and fight off the human in case he showed up and tried something.

The only one who was alone, was the leader of the Core Formation Realm demon beasts… Very clearly, the new, yet unfamiliar demon beast was not the slightest bit afraid of Chu Yang coming to kill him!
