Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Now that I think about it… I never really thought about just how long it would take for the people from the Sky Empire to show up…

No matter how strong the Sky Empire was, it would still take them some time to gather a group of people strong enough to deal with the two demonic cultivators and the rabbit demon beast… That was unless one of the Soul Ascension Realm experts from the imperial family ended up taking action to deal with the matter themselves!

However, given the importance of a Soul Ascension Realm Expert, Xuan Hao doubted that one of the Sky Empire’s Soul Ascension Realm Experts would act…

Watching as the rabbit demon beast had almost reached him, Xuan Hao could not help frowning after thinking about this.

In the first place, he still had to find a way to hide the Transcendent Grade Spiritual herb, as it was currently rather easy for someone in the Domain Lord Realm to notice its presence if they were close enough to the interspatial ring around his finger.

”Haa… How troublesome… Wait- Maybe I can ask Yi Min for help…?” Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao suddenly remembered Yi Min who had been the one to inform him about the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb in the first place.

Given that she was a renowned blacksmith, she would likely also have a way to isolate the aura of the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb.

Not to mention one of the two demonic cultivators chasing him at the moment, was none other than the sect master of the Frost Devil Sect that she had asked him to look for! Not only that, but with her status, Yi Min would most likely not care too much about the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb.

After all, she had used more than one Transcendent Grade Spiritual herb and other Transcendent Grade Natural Treasures in the construction of the massive formation surrounding the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom, that was not mentioning the fact that she was the one who had given him the location of the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb in the first place!

Whoosh~!

Having come to a decision, Xuan Hao changed his direction and rushed towards the direction of the Iron Sky Kingdom.

Compared to the past when he had gone together with Qing Yi, his speed was many times faster with the help of the Drifting Cloud Steps. At this speed, crossing a small kingdom only took a few minutes at most!

”I should contact her first before just suddenly showing up at her doorstep with two demonic cultivators half a step into the True Demon Realm and a demon beast half a step into the Soul Ascension Realm…” Remembering just how powerful the three following behind him were, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly before taking out his communication talisman to contact Yi Min.

…

Crash-!

”Hm…? What!? The sect master of the Frost Devil Sect is chasing you together with another demonic cultivator and demon beast at the same realm as him!? Haa… Yes… You can come over, I managed to repair the hidden danger left behind by those people already, so my formation is capable of operating at full capacity again! I will also contact the Sky Empire and have them come over-”

Inside the large palace at the centre of the Iron Sky Kingdom, Yi Min who had just been lazily leaning against a window frame had jumped up with a surprised expression on her face, as the tray filled with all sorts of snacks located just next to her had fallen on the ground together with the cup of tea that had unfortunately been placed on the same tray as the snacks.

”Ah-! No!” Realizing that her snacks and freshly brewed tea had fallen on the ground, Yi Min’s expression became downcast, as she understood that she would not have enough time to wait for her servants to make some new snacks before Xuan Hao arrived together with the two demonic cultivators and the demon beast.

Looking down at the several cracked cookies and other snacks on the ground, Yi Min quickly calmed down as she picked the communication talisman back up before contacting the people from the imperial family. Informing them about the place where the two demonic cultivators were going to show up.

The imperial family member she contacted did not ask too many questions about this, but Yi Min still understood that the other party had guessed that she was somehow related to the Domain Lord currently escaping from the three.ℴ

In the end, Yi Min did not really care about this… Xuan Hao had asked her for help, so he should at the very least expect that her enemies would think that he had sided with her after finding out about his identity and potentially start targeting him in the future.

All things considered, her biggest enemy already knew to some degree about her involvement with Xuan Hao and the fact that they were on friendly terms… Him coming to her for help would only cement their relationship as allies in these people’s eyes…

”Not a bad thing at all…” Muttering this to herself as she thought about this, Yi Min could not help feeling a bit happy as her lips curled into a small smile.

When the entire matter was over, Xuan Hao would not only owe her a favour for helping him out, but he would also be considered to have allied together with her in the eyes of the different factions inside the Sky Empire!

”Now to check the formation… No matter what, I can’t let that bastard from the Frost Devil Sect escape alive! The formation is also fully operational now… Hehe, it’s been quite some time since I managed to truly use it! Even if you managed to reach the True Demon Realm, there is no way to escape as long as you enter my formation~” Saying this, Yi Min made her way out of the palace room she had been staying inside before making her way towards the borders of the Iron Sky Kingdom where she began checking each of the large towers located all around the border with a serious expression on her face.

…

”To think I would gather so much attention on my way to the Iron Sky Kingdom…” Still making his way towards the Iron Sky Kingdom, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he looked back and saw close to a dozen angry Domain Lords chasing after him to no avail.

These Domain Lords were the different kings of the kingdoms he had passed through during his escape. Not only did they not ignore him. Instead they decided to chase after him… Very clearly, they had sensed the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb he was carrying! Otherwise, it made no sense for them to try and chase after him with the presence of the two demonic cultivators and the rabbit demon beast.

However, in the end, this did not really matter to Xuan Hao, as the Domain Lords quickly got left behind with his speed.

Even if more and more of them showed up, Xuan Hao understood that none of them were strong enough to catch up to him. After all, the Domain Lords in the border region were only at the lower levels of the Domain Lord Realm. The strongest he had seen so far had only reached the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Why they had chosen to chase him even knowing they had no way to fight him for the spiritual herb was a mystery, as they most likely just wanted to fish for benefits when the people from the Sky Empire arrived to deal with the two demonic cultivators and the demon beast-

”HAHAHA, so many little fish showing up?! How lucky!”

Just at this moment, the demonic cultivator called Black Hand laughed loudly as he appeared behind a group of Domain Lords chasing Xuan Hao together with them.

Ptch!

The next moment, several tentacles appeared from all over his body before piercing though the bodies of the Domain Lords. Not giving them any time to react and escape.

Swish-!

Devouring the blood and qi of these Domain Lords in an instant, Black Hand’s speed rapidly increased as a dark red light covered his body. All of a sudden, his speed far surpassed that of the rabbit demon beast!

How in the world did he get so fast!?

Watching this scene, Xuan Hao could not help cursing to himself as he watched the demonic cultivator called Black Hand rapidly approaching him.

With his current speed, Black Hand would not only be able to overtake the rabbit demon beast, but he would also be able to catch up to him!

At that point in time, let alone reaching the Iron Sky Kingdom, he would most likely not even get close enough for Yi Min to come out and help him!
