Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”W-what are you two doing here…?” Not knowing that he sounded extremely nervous when saying this, Feng Chen glanced towards the two women who had entered his temporary workspace inside Zu Fei’s pavilion.

For some reason, Feng Chen had a feeling something bad was going to happen to him the moment the two of them entered the room. Now seeing how both of them just smiled at each other in response to his question made him even more certain that the two of them were up to no good.

Even Zu Fei’s usual combative nature when in the presence of Shu Yao was nowhere to be seen at the moment…

”I came here to inform you about something regarding the new sect location and happened to meet Zu Fei here along the way… After some discussion, we decided on going about a few things a little differently~”

”R-really…?”

Hearing what Shu Yao said, Feng Chen could not help shivering a bit as he glanced towards Zu Fei. Wondering just what the two of them had descused regarding the new sect location.

I was originally going to oversee the place together with a group of elders from both my sect and the Spring Flower Sect… What did those two change…?

”Yes! Instead of you going there to oversee the place when the new main sect is being constructed together with a few elders from our sect and the Spring Flower Sect, we instead came to the decision that it would be better for both of us to be there to help you oversee the construction of the new main sect instead of it being a group of elders from both sects~”

Smiling happily towards Feng Chen after saying this, Zu Fei moved forward before leaning closer to Feng Chen.

”Aren’t you happy sect master~? Instead of dealing with a group of elders that might slack off, you will now be able to feel assured with both of us there to help you~”

Rest assured my- How on earth am I supposed to get anything done with you two around!?

”Haha… Indeed, now we just have to wait for Elder Xuan to set up the formation before we can begin.” Not daring to say any of the words on his mind out loud, Feng Chen just laughed in response to Zu Fei’s words.

He had no idea what had happened between Zu Fei and Shu Yao in such a short span of time. However, he was certain that whatever those two were planning, it would not be anything good for him…

”Great! We will take our leave and inform Elder Xuan that he has to hurry up and get the formation set up so we can begin~” Nodding her head with a similar smile as Zu Fei on her face, Shu Yao turned around and left the room, Zu Fei following closely behind her as both of them soon left the room.

Creak~!

”Those two! They are surely up to no good, Zu Fei is still weaker than me, but Shu Yao… I have to break through to the Domain Lord Realm as quickly as possible!” Muttering this to himself as he watched the door to his room close, Feng Chen felt like he had a new reason to reach the Domain Lord Realm as soon as possible.

From the looks of it, he should probably seek out Elder Xuan and see if he had any way to help him reach the Domain Lord Realm. After all, he was the one who had helped Shu Yao break through to the Domain Lord Realm in the past.

If he could help Shu Yao reach the Domain Lord Realm, he would also have a way to help him reach the Domain Lord Realm!

Thinking this, Feng Chen decided to seek out Xuan Hao after his lecture for the younger disciples had finished and the two who just came to seek him were nowhere nearby… He had a feeling that encountering both of them together again would not be a good thing, as all his momentum and power of a sect master seemed to be rendered useless in front of both of them.

It was normal when facing Shu Yao, as she was a Domain Lord and the sect master of the Spring Flower Sect, but Zu Fe who was weaker than him was the same as Shu Yao when both of them were together-

No, not only that, but both of them seemed stronger when working together!

”Hopefully, they will fall out again soon…” Not used to Shu Yao and Zu Fei getting along so well to the point of working together, Feng Chen unknowingly found himself praying for both of them to return to how they had been in the past, with Zu Fei trying to fight Shu Yao whenever she saw her.

…

As Feng Chen was left deeply troubled by the sudden friendship between Shu Yao and Zu Fei, the two people in question arrived in front of the hall where Xuan Hao was meditating while waiting for the one hour to be up.

”Hm, so this is where Elder Xuan is holding his lecture…? Why one earth did so many disciples and elders show up when it wasn’t even a lecture for them, do they perhaps have nothing to do? I will make sure to inform Elder Song about this when-”

”Ah! I have to return, my disciples are waiting for me to teach them a new technique!”

”Haha, me as well, my disciples are all waiting for me.”

”I still have a lecture to hold in a few minutes, I should get going as well.”

”Hehe, the elders sure are diligent, we disciples still have all sorts of missions to clear.”

”Don’t forget we also have quite a few lectures scheduled for today!”

””Yeah!””

Having heard what Zu Fei said when she arrived together with Shu Yao at the hall, the elders and most of the older disciples present in front of the hall escaped in all directions, while loudly proclaiming all sorts of random excuses.

Whoosh~

Whoosh~

Whoosh~

Soon enough, everyone who had been standing outside the hall hoping to somehow enter and listen to the lecture ran away. Leaving behind only a few exhausted younger disciples who slowly made their way inside the hall before finding some fresh water to drink and a place to sit down while waiting for the time limit of one hour to be up and the lecture to begin.

Seeing that the older disciples and the elders had already dispersed, Zu Fei made her way towards the hall together with Shu Yao, who had been rather amused after seeing how quickly the group of people gathered in front of the hall dispersed.

The Spring Flower Sect was different compared to the Flying Sword Sect in this regard, as the disciples and elders of her sect would have never used such obviously bad excuses before running away with their tail between their legs… The excuse that the disciples and elders from her sect would have used in such a situation would have been way better than the ones from the Flying Sword Sect!

Not saying any of her thoughts aloud, both Shu Yao and Zu Fei entered the hall where close to thirty disciples had already gathered waiting for the time limit of one hour to pass.

Most of them turned their head to looks towards the two newcomers, but quickly turned away again after recognizing Zu Fei, a fearful expression clearly visible on their small faces!

”…”

Even if she tried to ignore it, Zu Fei could not help frowning when she saw this.

It looks like someone have been spreading rumours about me to the new disciples-

”Zu Fei? Shu Yao? What are both of you doing here? Do you perhaps have something to say to me?”

Before Zu Fei could finish her train of thought, she was interrupted by Xuan Hao calling out to them with a curious expression on his face.

”Yes, we have something to talk to you about… I’m not sure if now would be a good time…” Answering Xuan Hao with a wry smile on her face as she glanced around at the young disciples that had gathered to listen to the lecture of Xuan Hao, Shu Yao asked Xuan Hao.

”Its fine, there is still half an hour left before I plan to start the lecture, as long as it doesn’t take too long there is more than enough time.” Signalling for both of them to come to him while saying this, Xuan Hao took out two cushions for them to sit on.

”Then I will have to thank you in advance…”

Whoosh~

As both of them moved forward and sat down on the cushions Xuan Hao had taken out, Shu Yao used her domain to seal the area around them to make sure the young disciples sitting not too far away happened to hear them.

”Hm? So secretive~ I wonder what it is that you want to discuss with me?” Feeling surprised that Shu Yao even went as far as to seal the area around them to make sure no one outside the three of them could hear their conversation, Xuan Hao felt even more interested in why the two who seemed to be fighting every time he saw them together had come to see him.

Looking at each other for a short moment as nervousness appeared on both their faces before both of them locked eyes and nodded at each other in silence.

Soon enough, Shu Yao narrowed her eyes before she began talking.

”Actually…”
