Chapter 75: Chapter 35 Fierce Tiger Special Soldier

Seeing Fatty distracted, Milan tightened his grip on his neck and said coquettishly, ”I’m talking to you, you dead guy, what are you thinking about?”

Fatty smiled and said, ”That’s good, the lab should have been moved back to the capital a long time ago. What’s the point of you researchers staying here?”

Milan stuck out his tongue and said, ”This lab is my teacher’s lifelong effort, he couldn’t bear to leave. Besides, several projects were at critical stages at the time, so we couldn’t leave even if we wanted to. Then, seeing there was nothing major happening in Gallipalan, we stayed on.”

”Besides...” Milan blushed and buried his head back in Fatty’s arms, eyes blurred with emotion, ”If we’d left early, how could I have met such a loathsome, vile, lecherous, shameless dead Fatty like you?”

Listening to Milan’s sweet words in his arms, Fatty was filled with both joy and trouble. He had already fallen into a web woven by several women, and didn’t know what to choose for a moment.

And Ann Lei.

Speaking of emotions, that beautiful figure that had haunted his heart for ten years once again clearly appeared in his mind.

Tian Xingjian shook his head, temporarily putting those chaotic thoughts aside. He patted Milan’s face and said, ”I’m here to take [Logic], just received a mission, and I need it!”

Milan lifted his head in panic and asked, ”What mission? Is it dangerous?”

Seeing her worried look, Fatty couldn’t bear it and simply smiled, ”It’s not a dangerous mission. The situation on the front line is very good now. The Federation will definitely achieve a great victory this time, don’t worry.”

Milan held Tian Xingjian’s neck, resting her chin on his shoulder, and asked gloomily, ”Then... when will you come back? I’m leaving the day after tomorrow!”

Smelling Milan’s faint fragrance and the scent of her virginity, Tian Xingjian gently said, ”Very soon. Before you leave, I will definitely come back to see you off.”

Milan’s voice was very shy, ”Then I’ll wait for you. I’ve booked dinner at the Simai Hotel, and also...” Before finishing her sentence, Milan became so shy that she didn’t dare to look at Tian Xingjian’s face again. She pushed him away and ran out.

Fatty’s brain was a bit dazed. What does this mean? What’s so embarrassing about having a meal? Why do women cry and run away when they’re shy too?

The Mecha was transported to a military airport in the northwest of Gallipalan. When Tian Xingjian arrived at the airport by car, a medium-sized transport ship was already there. Under the transport ship, several Warrior Leader mechas were lining up to board the ship.

Seeing Tian Xingjian’s arrival, a Lieutenant Colonel came up to him, shaking hands and said, ”You must be Lieutenant Tian. I am Lieutenant Colonel John, responsible for planning this operation for the Federation Military Intelligence Bureau.”

Tian Xingjian looked around and said, ”Isn’t Major Ann coming?”

Apparently used to those mesmerized by Ann Lei’s charm, Lieutenant Colonel John smiled and said, ”She’s not in charge of this matter. She has other important tasks now and is too busy.”

Fatty sighed in disappointment and listened to John introducing the mission highlights.

”You already know the mission target. The Military Intelligence Bureau has learned through secret channels that this person is likely in the Low Ridge Jungle now, which aligns with the movements of the Mythical Army. We must capture him before the Mythical Army does. Given the current favorable battlefield situation, the speed of the Mythical Army is estimated to be slower. If all else fails, the bottom line of the mission is to eliminate him on the spot. Once the target is found, he must not be allowed to be taken alive by the Gazalin Empire!” Lieutenant Colonel John was evidently a precise and efficient person, speaking clearly and quickly with a strong Bermuda Star Domain accent.

Fatty nodded and asked, ”So, which unit will be cooperating with us this time?”

John handed him a map while tidying up the wind-blown folder, and indicated towards the transport ship, ”See that? It’s an entire reorganized battalion of the Fierce Tiger Special Forces, just transferred from the capital, the finest special soldiers in the entire Federation!”

Fatty noncommittally said, ”No one else?”

John pointed to a spot on the map and said, ”If you manage to get here, the Special Reconnaissance Group of the 16th Division of the Aviation Marine Corps will meet you!”

Fatty was surprised and said, ”Isn’t the 16th Division on the front line? I heard the Special Reconnaissance Group has also been mobilized up there.”

John chuckled and said, ”They were pulled back early. As soon as the momentum of the Gazalin offensive waned, the Special Reconnaissance Group of the 16th Division was immediately ordered to withdraw by the front command. They’ve already started to maneuver forward with the units on the third highway defense line.”

Hearing this, Tian Xingjian cursed inwardly, ”These old foxes, they’ve planned this all along, even mobilizing the Special Reconnaissance Group just to pretend to assign me this task!”

After confirming the target’s location, airdrop and retreat routes, contact signals, and other details with John, Fatty finally boarded the transport ship, piloting his still seemingly tattered Mecha.

With a loud roar, the transport ship’s anti-gravity device started up, and the vessel slowly ascended. The slow take-off speed was a major drawback of such anti-gravity aircraft.

The Fierce Tiger Special Forces are the most elite unit among the Federation Special Forces. Any special unit with over a hundred collective merits is named the Fierce Tiger Special Forces, and their soldiers’ uniforms are embroidered with a downhill tiger. This unit is considered an elite among Federation Special Forces. Currently, only the First Armored Division of the Aviation Marine Corps and the 3rd Armored Division of the Army have one brigade each of this unit.

This time, the Fierce Tiger Special Soldiers on the mission with Tian Xingjian were from the First Armored Division of the Aviation Marine Corps, led by a battalion commander named Stewart, who was tall and strong. Next to him, Fatty, who was not short himself, looked like a sick chicken. Fatty doubted how the small cockpit of that heavily modified Du Fu’ai humanoid Private Mecha could fit such a huge monster!

Damn it, why are the Federation’s military officers, especially at the battalion or regiment level, such monstrous freaks?

Fatty was muttering to himself when Stewart slapped him on the shoulder, nearly knocking him out, and roared in a thunderous voice, ”Lieutenant, don’t be afraid, with us Fierce Tigers, nothing will go wrong. Judging by your build, you haven’t been on a battlefield much, have you? Staff officers are always weak. Seriously, you need to lose weight.”

Seeing Tian Xingjian’s grimacing face, the soldiers sitting nearby laughed heartily. In their eyes, it was ridiculous for this pale and flabby guy to lead a group of Fierce Tiger Special Soldiers on a mission with his nearly falling apart Mecha!

Fatty didn’t say a word, thinking to himself, ”Laugh all you want, you bunch of rookies who have never seen the world. Just don’t wet your pants when we get on the battlefield!”

Originally scheduled for September 1st but considering that the number of words in the public version might not be very generous, I painfully decided to delay the release for a week. Looks like competing for monthly tickets is out of the question. Friends who support 72, if you think it’s okay, please keep your tickets and support when the time comes. Thank you all.
