Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 195: Chapter 194:Where’d you get the panda eye, old man?

A heavy silence filled the place as the crowd that had gathered to enjoy the show were suddenly stumped..

”Did he just break Thorin’s arm with one hand?”

”Damn... must be some big shot!”

”Who cares? Don’t you know what faction thorin belongs to?”

”Ohh.. things are about to get interesting!”

....

I could obviously hear the crowd’s whispers, but honestly? They meant nothing to me.

I was merely waiting for this pig’s response so that I can finally be on my way.

And looking at the fool, I could already tell what his answer would be, and right on cue..

”BASTARD!!!! Do you know who I...”

”Haaaa.... I guess suffering it is.”

Before the young man could even begin his third rate monologue..

BOOOOMMM!!!!

A violent shockwave blasted outward as my fist connected with the midsection of the fool, his body folding in on itself as his mouth opened, a violent spray of blood gushing out.

Before his figure could be blasted backward, I grabbed a hold of his arm, twisting it hard..

CRRRRAAAACCCKKKK!!!

The continuous sounds of bones being turned to powder we’re swiftly followed by the pig like squealing of the fool.

I didn’t relent.

I had given him a choice.

He’d made his bed, and now I was going to force him to lie on it...

.....

”Monster!!”

”Blerghhh.... Evil.. too evil... just kill the guy already,”

The horrified exclamations of the crowd that had distanced themselves quite far from me still reached my ears.

As for why they were so shook? The macabre painting I had used the ’thing’ behind me to do was more than enough.

The young man at this point, couldn’t even be recognized to be fully human, as he was but an unrecognizable piece of limbless ”something”.

”Damn.. you don’t know what mercy is, do you?” Malachi whistled, hands behind his head.

”I had given him a choice, he disregarded it.” I wiped my hands on the shirt of the youth before turning towards the now conscious Michell, her friends hiding her figure behind them.

”Heh.. seems I scared them too.” I wasn’t bothered in the slightest what they thought about me, I had only stepped in to help, and now, I was leaving.

I turned around, Malachi in tow, as I began my exit, the crowd swiftly parting whenever I got close enough...

”DANTE!!!” A soft , delicate voice called out from behind me, my figure coming to halt, as I tilted my head sideways..

”Dante? Wait.. you mean THAT guy??”

”Woah!! See? I told you guys he was big shot..”

”Fuck!! One of the scariest elite class of those year, and that fool thought he could threaten him!”

”Choose your fights wisely people, choose them wisely.”

It would seem I’d somehow become popular among the outer court students.

’Hmm, wonder when that happened.’

I shrugged off the thought, popularity wasn’t my concern, getting stronger was.

”Thank you!” I nodded, continuing my exit.

”AND I’M NOT WEIRD!!!”

”Heh.!”

......

”You knew her, huh?” Malachi asked as we made our way towards the missions hall..

”Hmm? Must I know her to help? I could’ve just helped for the sake of stopping injustice.”

”Pft... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....” The monkey laughed, HARD! His figure collapsed on the floor as he rolled on his back, tears streaming down his face as his laughter intensified..

My lips couldn’t help twitching as the monkey didn’t show any signs of stopping..

”Hooo... haaa.. my tummy.. fuck! Don’t go making jokes like that. You’ll kill me with laughter!” He was still having trouble breathing..

”And what’s so funny about me stepping in to fight injustice?”

”Brother, you just turned your fellow human into a limbless block of unrecognizable flesh, and you still have the face to say this?”

”That’s different.”

”Look, I may not know you all that well, but game can call game, you, you don’t care about what happens to others, so long as it doesn’t affect you, I’m sure you could watch the whole world burn with a bored expression on your face.”

”You’re making me sound like a psycho.”

”Oh, brother! But you are! Hahahahahaha..”

”Haaa~ the people I keep as friends.” I could only sigh and continue onward, the words of the monkey not bothering me one bit, afterall, was he wrong?

The world could go to hell for all I care, so long as I got to pay everyone who had a hand in my father’s passing back a thousandfold, I could care less what happened to the world..

So, we continued our trek toward the teleportation hub, arriving swiftly at the missions hall.

”Haa.. finally! Now, let’s get this adventure started!l” I rubbed my palms together, eager to find some badass quests to accomplish.

That was the plan, until, ”what the fuck is this!!” I lost my flipping cool..

Why was I angry? The stupid missions available for outer court students, new outer court students..

Resource gathering: gather C-grade crysanthemum from the wild lands(1-star)

Monster hunting: eliminate the wild Lakash Pride(2-star)

Assistance: provide assistance to one of the following instructors (1-star)..

....

And many other ridiculous things that had been listed on here..

Missions within the academy were ranked in difficulty by stars for each rank..

With a 1-star rating being the absolute bottom of any rank.

So now, seeing the 1 and 2 star c-rank missions listed below, it was understandable why I’d be upset.

”No way in hell am I going to gather some fucking herbs!” I complained to the mission administrator..

”Look, I don’t make the rules, I’m just here farming some points, so there you have it.” The guy shrugged.

”Then, give me one of those.” I pointed at the very top of the missions board.

Monster Hunting: Eliminated the Sky Leviathan of Aerin Peaks(5-star, S-rank)

Monster Hunting: Eliminate the Rodentia Emprosia of the western wilds(5-star, SS-rank)

Bounty Hunting: Bring back(Dead or Alive) the body of Antuan Twilight, a deserter of the Twilight Family.(5-Star, SS-rank)

Resource gathering: Bring back the heart of a shadow dragon(5-star, SSS-rank).

.....

Not a single one of those missions didn’t send my blood boiling in excitement.

Those are the things I should be hunting, things that could actually pose a threat, not whatever the outer court was allowed.

”Sorry, no can do.” The young administrator shut my wild dreams down instantly.

”Well why not??”

”Because you’re still a new student, elite or not, I can’t give you anything higher.”

”Fuck!!”. For a place that allowed their students to do everything but kill each other, it felt like a deliberate mockery to have such a stupid rule..

”Hey, you’re an elite class, so that means at least one instructor is on good terms with you? Why not ask them? They always have missions lying around, and most of them have juicy rewards.” The young man’s words struck like thunder, my eyes widening in realization..

Didn’t Liz also suggest something that before?

”Stupid!” I couldn’t help berating myself, immediately storming out of the place..

”Hey! Wait for me!” The monkey followed suit..

”Slow down! Where the hell are you in such a rush to go?”

”Congratulations monkey, you get to finally meet The legendary Valen Wildeheart himself .” I didn’t answer his question, merely dropped the bombshell on him before pushing him into the teleport station, our figures appearing within the instructors wing..

I’d already been here once, so I didn’t waste any time , my wings unfurled behind me as I took to the air, flying rapidly towards mount doomandgloom..

.....

”So.. finally decided to pay me a visit huh?” Valen’s indifferent voice reached me the moment I landed, the old man’s figure appearing not long after..

”What a filial student you are!” I wasn’t listening to anything he was saying as all my attention was currently on the newest addition to his face..

”Hey, old man. Who’d you offend, and why did they bless you with a panda’s eye?”
