Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 154: Chapter 153:Fuck...

The group went silent after that, not an awkward type but the type that was comfortable, Melissa finally Ursurping Cara from her throne.

What did I do? I was a chair at the moment, what the fuck do you think chairs do?

I admit I might have questionable characteristics, but far be it from me to jump into a cat fight..

So, it was in comfortable silence and occasional death glares that we continued watching the rest of the ceremony..

Two elites had already been dethroned thanks to me, I’d taken one spot so now there was an empty spot left..

The winner of that spot? Better believe it when I tell you it was motherfucking Wu Kong..

No, once again, you heard me right, Sun Motherfucking Wu Kong.

The fraud had changed his name to Malachi, changed up his fashion sense, but I’ll be damned if that disguise deceived me..

The golden hooped staff that had the same features of infinite extension that Elira had? Yea, only one motherfucker in fiction had such a thing..

Plus it didn’t help that bro was a literal monkey with golden fur..

So after ultimate echo echo, we’re now doing Sun Wu Kong, huh? I’d like to see this author escape copyright infringement allegations..

But I’ve got to hand it to the monkey, he was one atrocious motherfucker, the elite class candidate, someone I’d recognized as a dragon, the horns, tail and..

[You have comprehended Dragon’s might]

Gave it away..

”I wonder what happened to the first dragon might I comprehended?”

Anyways, the Dragon put up a scary good fight, but the monkey was just too much, being capable of creating multiple clones that weren’t in any way lesser than you, wielding the same atrocious golden cudgel, saw the dragon get jumped in the most violent manner I’d ever seen someone get jumped..

All while the monkey was laughing it up like a mental patient..

Needless to say, the monkey won, he got a few more challenges after that though, hopefuls wanting to try their luck, their end was pretty much the same.

A devastating swing sending them not only to the infirmary but effectively ending their hopes of ever staying in Aeternum..

I was honestly impressed by the guy’s methods.

If he wasn’t a dick personality wise, then I was sure we’d get along nicely...

After, that there wasn’t much of anything else that was interesting..

I’d hoped I could get a few fights in, but nobody wanted to try the dude that sent two elites flying with one punch, the rest of the elites remained unchanged as they proved just why they were chosen above the rest of the rabble..

With some having pretty shocking and absurd abilities..

So, with no more upsets, the remaining participants, those just happy to be here, finally reigned in their greed...

”If there are to be no more challenges, then the challenge round of the ceremony shall come to an end”...

A collective sigh of relief was shared by the rest of the participants..

They’d probably been worried an elite would be feeling like bullying the weak, so they’d been on edge, luckily, no one was bored enough to waste their time or energy on such a thankless task, though I’m sure that Caelum shit would’ve loved too, he seemed like the petty kind to enjoy such things..

”Those of you who issued challenges and were defeated, step forward” valen’s voice broke my thoughts..

It was only now that It finally dawned on me that Cara’s loss wasn’t without consequences, I’d conveniently overlooked that detail until now..

”Hehehe... don’t worry, there’s no way you’re going to Aeternum without me” Cara’s soft voice reached my ears as she got up and began moving towards the raised stage at the front..

”Hmm? What does she mean by that? Didn’t they say all those who lost would be leaving the academy?” I was confused..

”Well normally that’s true, but like all things in life, there are always ways around, after all, you didn’t truly believe that all these young masters and mistresses would risk their enrollment on such an uncertain situation right?” Melissa laughed softly..

”Useless dicks only take risks when there are safety nets, that mentality will be corrected real quickly once they step fully into the academy” Khalifa smirked coldly..

Bonk!!!

”Ow.. hey!!!”

”You aren’t allowed to bully the outer court students” Kaila chopped the excited Khalifa on her head..

”Says who? There’s no such rule within the academy..hehehe”she laughed evily..

”Oh? Then just watch what I’ll do to you if you do” Kaila smiled sweetly..

I could see Khalifa shiver in fright..

”On second thought, I think I’ll give them a pass this time” she muttered weakly..

She seemed genuinely scared of Kaila, I wonder why, though that wasn’t my biggest issue here..

”What do you mean, there’s no rule preventing inner and supreme sanctum students from engaging outer court student?” I needed to know, because I may talk a big game, but I was sure I’d be royally screwed if that were the case, that Darius fellow was bound to come sniffing for my ass and if there wasn’t any safety nets, then, well game over..

”Oh, the academy doesn’t restrict conflict between the different student caste, why do you think most will be joining factions the moment they join the academy? Your identity outside doesn’t mean much here, so you’ll be needing protection from powers within the academy” Kaila explained softly..

Well, damn..

Seems I’m well and truly screwed, but wait..

”So, what would it mean if hypothetically, one were the student of Valen Wildeheart?” I asked, eager to know if I’d hit the jackpot..

”Well then you’d have hit the background jackpot, I don’t think anyone would be dumb enough to provoke that man’s student” Khalifa answered swiftly..

I smiled, a victorious expression on my face, but before it could fully settle..

”You shall not be allowed to use my name to scare off any students within academy grounds, fight your battles yourself” the old robot’s voice sounded in my head..

”FUCK!” I couldn’t help cussing out loud..

How that old coot seemed to always be aware of my thoughts was beginning to get scary.

And what’s with not using his name to scare off students? What’s the whole point of having a scary backing if I can’t use it to bully people? What the fuck?

”A man should learn to fight his own battles, stop being a pussy”

”Fuck you old man”...

”Oh? Hehehe... good, very good”..

I just screwed myself over didn’t I?

”Fuck....” I sighed, exhausted..

”D.. what happened?” Melissa’s worried voice broke me out of my depressing thoughts..

”I think I just fucked my life over...” I replied..

”Hehehe... don’t worry, with our lovely FlameEmpress here, I’m sure no one from the inner court or Supreme sanctum will provoke you unnecessarily, at least you can be sure Darius and his goons won’t try anything fishy openly”.. Kaila smiled..

”Besides, you’ve got me to count on, don’t worry, I’ll send all the fuckers flying if they move incorrectly” Khalifa flashed a pose that emphasized her massive breasts..

My eyes getting inevitably drawn in..

”Yea, those are pretty”

Bonk!!

”Hey!!!”

”Perverted bastard!!”

An thus began our bickering once more as the rest of the ceremony continued onwards..

It wasn’t until the sun gave its last goodbyes that the ceremony well and truly came to an end..

*************

A/N:Well, I guess that’s it for the enrollment ceremony, next we get into Aeternum proper..

I’m excited...
