Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 190: Chapter 189:Title at the end

”You guys know looking at me won’t change anything right?” I couldn’t help addressing the audience that was currently looking at me like I’d grow a second head or something..

After getting up, I’d made my way straight to the training grounds, wanting to start my task for the day, only for my training to be interrupted by the impromptu trio..

”You bastards kept me up all night!!!” Khalifa yelled, looking like roadkill..

”Ahh, I guess that’s why you look like a homeless wanderer..”

”Dante! You motherfucking..”

”You guys couldn’t have taken a moment to use the noise canceling runes?” Mira yawned as she rubbed her puffy eyes gently.

”Yea.. what were you even doing to get her to make such sounds.” Kaila asked, of course it had to be her..

”Well, I don’t mind showing you personally if you like..”

”Fufufu.. careful, I might just take you up on that offer..”

”Alright.. enough flirting you two, Dante, what are you doing?” Mira interrupted our little talk..

”Oh this? I’m trying to see if I can begin comprehending another supreme law, It’s urgent..”

.......

.....

...

The silence strentched until it finally became uncomfortable..

”What is it?”

”This bastard is messing with us right?” Khalifa cussed..

”I know you’re hot but at least don’t say such wild things carelessly..” Kaila sighed, disappointed?

”Yea, of course, you don’t need to tell us if you don’t want to.” Mira rolled her eyes, ”do you think a Supreme Law is something you comprehend just becuase you want to? What are you? A C-rank warrior and you’re here talking about comprehending another...” her words cut off there, the other girls seemingly catching on to something as well..

”Wait... wait... wait a fucking minute!!!” Khalifa was already in my face before I could even blink..

”Did you just say, comprehend ANOTHER! Supreme law?” She asked, her expression morphing into one of utter disbelief...

The other two just stared at me in disbelief..

”Yea, though it’s barely just an initial comprehension, but it’s pretty useful.” I shrugged it off.

I could understand their surprise, but I had other important matters to tend to than to worry about their shock..

”Hold on a fucking minute.. since when did you comprehend a flipping Supreme Law??” Kaila, cusse, that was new..

”Wait, what did you girls think I was doing when you were busy feeding you’re eyes with my glorious form? Playing? I told you guys I was training.”

”So you mean, you’ve had a Supreme Law, for over 3 days now?” Mira asked.

”Yea.”

”And you’ve barely been a week in this academy, having only just learnt about laws?”

”Pretty much, yea.”

”And now, you want to try comprehending another one?”

”Now you’re getting it.”

”I can’t tell if you’re messing with us or telling the truth, I wish Mel were here, I know for a fact you wouldn’t lie to her.” Mira still seemed unwilling to believe such a thing, and speaking about Melissa.

”Where did she even go?” I asked, curious.

”She got bored waiting around, so she took a mission she’s been putting off for a while now.” Mira answered, sitting down cross legged, her nightgown riding up her pale thighs..

Yes, they were all still in their nightgowns, they’d just woken up afterall...

”Ahh, that’s my girl, hardworking, unlike a couple of slackers I see before me.” I snickered..

”Bastard! Who the hell are you calling a slacker?” Khalifa snapped..

”Hey, I didn’t call any names, but if the shoes fit, then feel free to wear em..”

”I swear I’m going to tear that mouth of yours apart.” Khalifa was seething..

”Haa... you guys, we’re digressing from the topic here.” Mira tried to steer the conversation back on track..

”There’s no topic to discuss though, I already have a rudimentary comprehension of a Suprem Law, and I need to comprehend another one soon if I don’t want to be caught off guard.” I said to the three, getting ready to begin..

”Caught off guard by what exactly?”

”I don’t know yet, but I can feel it, better safe than sorry, now, if you beautiful ladies can please give me a moment.” Saying that, I closed my eyes, shutting out the world, though not before hearing Mira sigh at the ridiculousness of my words..

I smiled as my mind finally delved into dissecting my newly gained skill, I didn’t know if I was going to find what I was looking for within this skill, but if had given me what I thought it would, then even though it seemed far fetched, I was hoping Lady Luck was finally back from her vacation, because I needed that law to make headway in my plans...

Slowly, my mind turned blank as only the skill remained.

[Chaotic comprehension activating....]

I couldn’t even see the notification that popped up, the system’s chime sounding like something echoing from a distant memory...

Slowly, my breathing stilled.

This was it.

That feeling I had when I consciously tried to understand something.

I’d experienced it earlier when I held the also when I was trying to dissect so I was intimately familiar with the feeling of enlightenment...

....

[You gained insight into the [SUPREME] Law of...

[You gained insight into the [SUPREME] Law of.....

.......

Slowly but surely, my mind expanded as the workings of the supreme law rushed into my head..

It’s fundamental functionality within the wider cosmos, and how I could use it to interface with reality itself..

.....

”Did he really... enter a state of enlightenment just like that?” Khalifa whispered, shocked.

”You guys.. you don’t really think he’s about to comprehend a supremelaw do you?” Kaila asked, all her teasing and playful demeanor gone, what remained was a solemn expression on her face..

”I don’t know, it’s hard believing that someone that has just been here a week, could comprehend something that even the monstrous instructors of the academy, the heads of ancient lineages, all these powerful figures, could only dream of.” Mira sighed.

”But, he seemed genuinely sure about himself.” Khalifa seemed to be the only person really entertaining the thought that Dante had done something that ridiculous..

”Come on khali, he might just be messing with us, you know how he’s always trying to tease.” Kaila argued..

”Then explain this!” Khalifa pointed at the stationary figure..

”Explain how you enter enlightenment on a whim just so you can tease some women. Even that bastard wouldn’t be that shameless.”

”This..” both Mira and Kaila exchanged doubtful expressions.

They were really unconvinced.

Because if that were true.

If Dante had somehow succeeded in comprehending a supreme law, and is now attempting to comprehend another one right before them.

Then they wouldn’t be worthy of the titles of geniuses that they’d been given.

Hell, no one within the entire academy would be worthy of stepping up to him.

Just as the girls were about to speak , the world suddenly glitched.

Almost like reality was reacting to something that had happened and it’s only just now accepting it..

The girls froze in shock.

”What’s happening?”.

They could feel the laws they’d comprehended tremble in quiet acknowledgment..

”Im.. impossible!” Kaila was shook, her body turning robotically towards the source of the disruption..

Not just her, all three girls turned slowly, dread and disbelief painting their faces..

”How...?”

”It can’t be..”

There, their eyes found a scene they would never forget.

Dante, seating calmly, a serene and enchanting smile on his face, but it wasn’t the smile that caught their attention.

It was the surrounding area around him..

Multiple shadows of phantom weapons were striking continuously.

Each strike, hitting a single spot in space precisely, none missing a beat, causing fissures to appear and the void to blow out its chilly air constantly..

They didn’t need a notification.

They’d never even seen someone comprehend a supremelaw before, but somehow they knew.

This wasn’t in any way how things reacted when one comprehends a majorlaw.

It was almost as if the world, the universe itself was announcing the birth of another Supreme, and this time the girls could only stare in stunned disbelief..

”Did Dante just.... Comprehend a Supreme law?”

........

The moment the understandings of the fundamental workings of the supreme law filled my mind, I could feel Chaotic Comprehension ramping up.

It had finally caught a tether, and it wasn’t letting go..

BOOM!

A silent explosion went off in my head, as my consciousness winked out for a moment, my head feeling bloated, before the feeling vanished just as quickly as it appeared..

The process this time was significantly louder than when I’d comprehended Time, but nevertheless...

[DIING!]

The resounding chime of the system, something that seemed to resonate with the universe, echoed through my subconscious, ChaoticComprehension finally proving to be the cheat I’d always known it was as I had just comprehended a Supreme Law within a few hours.

A slow smile curled up my lips as I focused on the sweet notification that had just appeared before me.

[You have comprehended the [SUPREME]
