Chapter 1983: Staff Meeting (3)

Azhug Oogurim would be the person in charge of this place when Tang Shaoyang was not here. The Ogre became the General Manager of this place instead of a caretaker. He would be the one to plan and manage this place for Tang Shaoyang.

Under him were his workers, Meadow, or she would like to be called Mead, and Lavender, who was the caretaker. They would be in charge of tending the Beast Spirits. Their duty was to make the Beast Spirit happy and content to stay in this place because the Beast Spirit’s healthiness and happiness mattered to the World of Beast Spirit’s rating.

Liora and Elnar were the Medic Team. Elnar was the Doctor for the Beast Spirit’s team, and Liora was in charge of the Beast Spirit’s diet. Agreeing to Azhug’s demand to hire his staff was the best decision for this place because Tang Shaoyang was able to complete the team right away.

Azhug explained to Tang Shaoyang about their duty, each one of them. Then GM Azhug proceeded to explain the basic stuff that was important for this world. Rating was important, especially if Tang Shaoyang wanted to expand the land and increase the number of Beast Spirits. That was why making the Beast Spirit healthy and happy was important.

The Druid explained how to make the Beast Spirit happy and so on, how the research was also important, and so on. The quality of food, the quality of the Beast Spirit’s habitat, and even their toys.

”I have made some plans in my head, but before we dive into what I want to do. I need to know your financial situation. If you don’t have extra budget, then we can take it slow and focus on what we have. We should focus our resources on the existing Beast Spirit instead. However, if you have an extra budget, then we can speed up some progress, and expansion will be quicker and easier.”

Azhug did not know the details of his employer’s situation. He knew his employer was strong, but it didn’t mean his employer had infinite money. His employer might be rich enough to have a legal team, but taking care of the World of Beast Spirit was not cheap even for the rich.

”I do have the money, but it’s in my treasury. Can’t really get it until I go home. Let’s say I have an extra budget. How much do you need to increase our rating to two stars? After you get this place to two-star, we will talk again about progressing to three-star, and hopefully I will be home by then.”

Tang Shaoyang wanted to speed up the process because he would need the extra stats in the hope he could gain a lot of attributes within five years.

”That would work, and increasing the reputation rating would be easier since we already have eight Beast Spirits. The moment you receive their application, this place should already have a one-star reputation, and we have eight Beast Spirits. It should be easier to raise the rating again. We just need to make them moderately happy, and you will have a two-star reputation rating.”

Tang Shaoyang checked World of Beast Spirit information, and just like Azhug said, he was already at one-star reputation. He checked the Beast Spirit Record and found the eight Beast Spirits listed. There was a happiness symbol in each of their names.

The family of Void Sparrow had a fifty in their happiness, the Auspicious Mytherean had a twenty-five in his happiness, and the Snow Caracal family differed in their number for each of them.

The mother had a zero, and her three children had a minus rating, which indicated they were unhappy. There was more detailed information, and it turned out that they were in fear and trauma.

”What happens if my Beast Spirit’s happiness is minus?” He asked the expert, the six-star caretaker.

”It indicates your beast spirit is unhappy, and if it reaches minus fifty, it indicates wanting to leave. However, they still need your consent to leave this place. If it reaches a minus hundred, the Beast Spirit is allowed to leave this place even without your consent.”

Tang Shaoyang furrowed his brow and did not like what he heard. He just got them, and now he has found out that they could leave. This was more complicated than he thought.

He furrowed his brows and checked the list again, and witnessed that one of the Snow Caracal cubs’ happiness ratings just went up. It went up from minus thirteen to minus twelve. He was relieved that the minus was not increasing.

Tang Shaoyang looked up at Azhug. ”You haven’t answered me about how much you need to make this place a two-star rating.”

”You mentioned some of the Beast Spirits are unhappy, and I believe they are the Snow Caracal, right?”

Tang Shaoyang confirmed with a nod.

”You don’t need to worry. They are unhappy, but not because of you or this place. It’s because of their mother. As long as we can nurse their mother and make her healthy. That would be enough to get rid of their unhappiness. The problem is how to make them moderately happy, which is fifty happiness points.”

Azhug noticed that his employer became impatient because he had not mentioned the number yet, but he felt like he must do the job properly even if his employer was impatient with the lengthy explanation. He wanted his employer to know how he used the money.

”But to make them happy, we must recreate their habitat, a place for them to live. As the name implies, the Snow Caracal’s habitat is in a cold area, and if possible, we have to make it snowy as well. They love to play with the snow; hence, they are called the Snow Caracal. However, it would be expensive to recreate their habitat. Elnar can shape terrain with his skills, but he can’t make a natural snow habitat. We need to buy them from the store.”

Tang Shaoyang opened the Beast Spirit Store and opened the terrain menu. It had a long list from the grass field area to the forest area with specific trees. Fortunately, there was a separate menu for more options such as dessert area menu, tropical area menu, fire habitat menu, cold habitat menu, and so on.

He opened the cold habitat menu, and it gave him a list of cold area terrain, from the snowy one to the icy one. As Azhug said, it was indeed expensive. Depending on his requirement, the price of the terrain was up to one hundred million GC and around ten thousand to fifty thousand Chaos Energy.

Tang Shaoyang checked his money, and he was holding 3.45 billion GC. It was fortunate that he forgot to transfer his money to the treasury. He closed the menu and looked at Azhug. ”You still haven’t told me the number yet, Azhug.”

”Maybe around 150 million. I know the Auspicious Mytherean’s habitat is not that expensive to recreate, and I will do some research for the Void Sparrow to recreate their habitat, but it would not be as expensive as the Snow Caracal’s habitat. So 150 million should be enough to make them moderately happy for three months, including the food budget.”
