Chapter 1877: Generational F Up (1)

Tang Shaoyang thought he was free from his boring work and was about to leave the room. However, Zhang Mengyao called him up, ”Where are you going? Isnʼt there one more thing we should talk about?”

Tang Shaoyang was confused for a moment because the only thing he wanted to talk about was the Fortuna Guild matter. They agreed to accept them as long as the high-ranking people in the Fortuna Guild agreed to take several oaths.

They also agreed not to let the Fortuna Guild know their decision yet, so the Tang Empire did not look desperate to the Fortuna Guild. The Fortuna Guild would be informed maybe in three or four days or maybe longer. He tried to think what his commander tried to say, but he did not think there was more to talk about.

The talk for the Fortuna Guild was over, but there was one more topic they should discuss. Zhang Mengyao did not know if her husband truly forgot about the Gondar Alliance, or if her husband did not take the Gondar Alliance as a threat. With how her husband acted, most likely the latter, or maybe both. He did not take the Gondar Alliance as a threat, that was why he forgot about them.

”We need to talk about the Gondar Alliance. What is our next step? I donʼt think they will stay still after you kill their twenty God Ranks.”

Tang Shaoyangʼs face brightened in realization, but then he waved his hand at her, ”Donʼt worry about them. I donʼt think they have the courage to step outside the city from now on. I have sent my shadows to hunt them down.”

”If this Ancient Dimensional Tower is important for them, then they will come to us to negotiate to make peace with us. I will trust the negotiation in your hand.”

He wanted to make this big and made sure the Gondar Alliance had no place in this Dimensional Tower. But again, he might be leaving soon and did not know when he would return. It was better to make peace with them as long as they were willing to pay the appropriate price.

”I am here not to take care of the boring job, but I want to have a fun exploration in the tower. Please take care of the talk for me, and yes we can continue our operation as usual.”

He did not wait for Zhang Mengyaoʼs response as he left the room quickly.

*** ***

As Tang Shaoyang said, the Gondar Alliance was on fire right now.

The five representatives remained inside the dimensional tower as they were sending their four comrades to take over Earth. Based on their information about Earth, twenty God Ranks might be overkill. However, they played it safe rather than sorry.

Not long after they sent the twenty God Ranks, there was a weird occurrence where their people were killed. No, it was a slaughter. The people they placed to guard their resource points were slaughtered. It was weird because their worker was safe inside the resource points, and the culprit did not even try to take their resource points.

When they asked the workers, no one saw what killed their guards, and it worried them because all their fighters were killed outside the city. Only a few groups because they made a timely decision to pull their force.

”It happens right after we send our people to Earth…” The Ennear Kingdomʼs representative, Karavi, muttered in a low voice. Everyone heard him of course, but it was a strange coincidence, but they doubted it was the Earth Allianceʼs doing. Something bigger was targeting them, that was what was in their head, but it bothered them that this happened right after they sent twenty God Ranks to Earth.

They wanted to investigate the situation, but they were afraid that this might be a trap to lure them out. The five representatives agreed to wait for the twenty God Ranks to return before they sent more people out.

The paranoid Karavi checked his inbox, expecting a report from the God Ranks he sent to Earth. It was not supposed to be this long to take over Earth with just six God Ranks, and strangely enough, he had not received any update. Even if the Six God Ranks from the Tang Empire returned in time, those Six God Ranks did not pose a threat to their people.

Another fifteen minutes passed, and Karavi was getting more concerned because he received no update. It was taking longer than everyone predicted. Even the calm Isa noticed something wrong might happen.

With how paranoid Karavi was, he immediately checked one of the four God Ranks in his faction member list. To his terror, he could not find the name. He made sure that his eyes did not play him, he checked the remaining three names, and he could not find them. It meant they were dead as it was impossible his kingdom kicked them out without informing him.

”They are dead!” He exclaimed in disbelief.

The four representatives looked at him, confused, thinking he spoke nonsense or maybe he said something about the Ennear Kingdomʼs people outside the city.

”Their names are no longer on the list! Check your people on the list!” He stood up and raised his voice abruptly.

The four were initially confused about what Karavi talked about, but they quickly caught on. They opened their faction menu and checked the member list. They typed the names, and sure enough, the four God Ranks they sent to Earth were no longer on the list.

It could mean a few things. They were kicked out of the factions, or they quit the factions on their own. However, there was zero chance for those two possibilities to happen. There was no reason for them to quit or get kicked out, not without informing them.

The third option was that they were killed and their names disappeared from the list. They believed it was what happened. The other four representatives were in disbelief, their eyes widened in shock.

The four slowly raised their heads, by looking at each otherʼs expressions, they knew that the four God Ranks they sent were dead. Twenty God Ranks were killed in a low-ranked world. It was hard to believe.

”Call an alliance meeting!” Isa of the Goldencreek Kingdom immediately called for a meeting.
