Chapter 1851  Boring Meeting

Gu Yingjie looked at the dimensional gateʼs entrance, gaping, and his eyes enlarging with surprise. But the surprise soon turned into excitement and happiness as he made a silly grin.

”You didnʼt lie to us when you said you were part of His Majestyʼs group in the early days, Cap!” One of his men slapped Gu Yingjieʼs back.

Their captain often boasted that he joined The Emperorʼs group early in the Game. Gu Yingjie told them about his adventure in the Survival Game and also during the empireʼs expansion. Of course, most of them did not believe their captain because those people in the emperorʼs group rose into a high position quickly.

Most of them became Generals already, and some of them became division heads. So they just laughed off when their captain shared the story.

Gu Yingjie rolled his eyes at his subordinates, ”Why would I lie when you can confirm it easily?” Even though he said so, he still grinned silly.

Forlan glanced at the young man and left the group on their own.

Tang Shaoyang was teleported into the hall. It was a similar long hall he remembered when he first entered the Sky Dimensional Tower. It was empty with nothing, worse than the previous one because the previous one had priests or some sort that offered a healing service. It was an empty long hall with nothing, no window, chair, nothing but stone floor.

Two people were Tarriorʼs signature armor came in, and he recognized them, Bai Yuan and Zhao Zhong. These two were the early people who helped him find the empire from the smart until this point. Zhao Zhong became a Vice Division Head of the Dungeon Control Division.

Bai Yuan was offered a promotion to General, but he refused because he was not good at it and said that he would rather fight in the front than make commands for a thousand people. That was the reason his position was Vice General.

The two bowed their heads, ”Welcome to the first floor, Your Majesty. Supreme Commander Zhang is asking for your presence for a meeting with the United Alliance.”

Tang Shaoyang nodded, ”Lead the way!”

On the way to the meeting place, Tang Shaoyang asked about the current situation and what the meeting was about.

”Sir Herman wants to look for a solution instead of conflicting with the United Alliance and also fighting against the three worlds. If we look at the current situation, the three worlds would rather take the United Alliance instead of us because the United Alliance asked for a little share,” Bai Yuan explained the situation.

Herman Bonivido did not want infighting against the other factions. No one benefited from their conflict but the three worlds.

”He is so soft-hearted. We can stop them from entering the tower, and they will have to fight without reinforcement. Why would we put them equal?” Tang Shaoyang was annoyed with Herman. The solution was easy, the United Alliance would not dare to do anything if they threatened them a little. He did not ask for Herman to get rid of the United Alliance. They could stay here on their own but if they tried to backstab the Earth Alliance, then they must do the same.

”Thatʼs what I thought too. The United Alliance dares to do something like this because they can take advantage of Herman,” Zhao Zhong responded with annoyance as well. He fully agreed with Tang Shaoyang, if words did not work, then they used fists. That was the way of Tang Shaoyang, and it always worked from his experience. He did not even bother to address Herman respectfully.

”Supreme Commander Zhang told you why Sir Herman did not take a drastic measure,” Bai Yuan gave a side glance, ”Itʼs because they want more profit because The United Sovereign receives more benefit if more factions enter the Dimensional Tower.”

Tang Shaoyang recalled the entry fee as well as the teleportation fee the United Sovereign set up. They were smart to set that up, but it was stupid when that was the cause of the United Allianceʼs opposition.

”On top of that, we believe you are one of the factors as well, Your Majesty. They havenʼt seen you since the dimensional tower opened, and I believe thatʼs what gives them the courage to oppose our alliance,” Bai Yuan added.

Everything made sense, he could not imagine those people dared to pull such a scheme with him being here.

”Tell me more about the three worlds…” Tang Shaoyang wanted to know if the three worlds were a famous world. If they had a big influence in the God Realm, he should have heard them or he could ask Ira for more information. Their enemy was not just the United Alliance, but the three worlds as well.

The reason Collin Morton and Victor Brent Whitney dared to pull such a trick was exactly what the Earth Alliance guessed. The Emperorʼs absence was the main factor that pushed their plan ahead than they had scheduled.

Five weeks since the dimensional tower opened, and they had not seen Tang Shaoyang. He also got insider information that Tang Shaoyang never attended the city allianceʼs meeting. That was why they dared to approach the three worldsʼ force.

Earth along with Etherna, Gondar, and Valeur were teleported into the same city. Different from Earth, the three worlds had a solid alliance between themselves. Etherna was ruled by five factions, Gondar was ruled by four factions, and Valeur was fully conquered by one faction. It was totally different from Earth with a lot of factions, more than a hundred.

Collin Morton with the help of the Polar Guild managed to persuade many medium and small factions to join their alliance. The names of the Whitney Kingdom, the Kingdom of Napoles, and the Kingdom of Sand gave more weight to their alliance. They started to spread the rumor that Tang Shaoyang could not enter the tower, and the rumor went so far saying that The Emperor might be ill or die.

Whether it was a lie or a truth, it would become real if they kept repeating it. With the absence of The Emperor, many factions believed the rumor and joined The United Alliance.

The United Allianceʼs original goal was to get rid of the Earth Alliance. However, Collin Morton, Victor Brent, Igmar, and Marco knew they could not get rid of the Earth Alliance as a whole. With the dimensional tower in the United Sovereign, they could not get rid of them or they would be done for when they returned to Earth.

With that in mind, Victor Brent Whitney gave them a brilliant idea: instead of getting rid of the Earth Alliance, they better absorb the Earth Alliance with them. With them in charge of the alliance instead of The Tang Empire, they had more authority.

They also knew Herman Bonivido did not want to escalate the conflict as well. The United Sovereign would lose a lot if it blew into a full conflict. They had the upper hand.

Collin Morton scanned his opposition. Herman Bonivido was guarded by five people, and he recognized the white-haired Advisor who was seated closely to Herman. Then Supreme Commander Zhang Mengyao was accompanied by two Vice Supreme Commander, also the renowned White Witch Kang Xue, and the Fiery Empress Rosalie.

He heard a lot about them in the last month, and they found out that The Emperorʼs wives could not be underestimated by all means. However, they had an upper hand no matter how strong these people were. The three worlds that supported the United Alliance had fifty God Ranks, and those were enough to dominate the Tang Empire.

”We have been waiting for ten minutes! What are we waiting for?” Igmar protested.

If Igmar did not bring it up, then he would. Supreme Commander Zhang told them to wait, but she did not tell them the reason why.

Even Herman Bonivido glanced at the woman. As they were expecting an answer, Zhang Mengyao stood up from her chair. At the same time, the door opened. Everyone naturally turned toward the door, and Collin Mortonʼs eyes widened in shock. Igmar showed a similar reaction, but the Kingdom of Napoles King and The Whitney Kingdomʼs king showed a little reaction.

Not just Zhang Mengyao, Wei Xi, Alton, Kang Xue, and Rosalie stood up. Zhang Mengyao gave her seat to Tang Shaoyang, and five of them stood behind Tang Shaoyang.

Collin Mortonʼs mind spun, trying to think of a solution for The Emperor. Igmar also panicked, but Collin found out that Victor and Marco were calm. He thought about it, and he found the answer. They were backed by fifty God Ranks, so even with The Emperor, they still had an upper hand. Even the Emperor could not face fifty God Ranks on his own. Collin Morton regained his confidence as he sent a message to Igmar, telling the new king to calm down before making himself look like a fool.

”I expected to have some fun and fight on my first day, not a boring meeting…” Tang Shaoyang let out a sigh, muttering by himself.
