Chapter 1868  Classified Information

The contract was a formality as people could breach the contract without receiving a punishment. However, the contract was convenient because they could easily find out if their partner breached the contract.

After having his legal team check the contract for ten minutes, checking the loopholes and so on, Tang Shaoyang signed the contract together with Hubert. They dropped the blood on it, and it was official that the Valuer Empire would have to share seventy-five percent resources they owned and the resource point they discovered in the future with the Tang Empire.

That was compensation and also the price to reconcile with the Tang Empire. The contract did not mention any alliance, but Hubert was well aware that they would obtain The Executive Administratorʼs protection. Those resource points were literally owned by the Tang Empire, not them. If the other alliances or factions or cities attacked and took over, The Tang Empire would lose the earnings from the said resource.

A satisfied smile hung on Hubertʼs lip. He could see The Emperor was satisfied with what he offered and did not ask for more. That meant the Emperor was quite a reasonable person not to ask for more shares even though The Tang Empire had an upper hand in the negotiation.

Tang Shaoyang and Hubert had a handshake for the last time, finalizing the agreement. With the contract, the Tang Empire and the Valuer Empire had agreed to a truce and reconcile. The Tang Empire and the Valuer Empire would not attack each other outside the city with no obligation to help or protect each other.

”I am releasing your people right now. They are on the way back to the city,” Tang Shaoyang did what he was supposed to do, releasing the captives.

The initial plan in his mind was to extort the Valuer Empire with artifacts or maybe rare bloodlines in exchange for the captive. But he changed his mind when they came to give him the resource. With the agreement, it was natural for him to release the captive.

”We are grateful for your magnanimity, Your Majesty,” Hubert bowed his head slightly and was followed by Garnet and the three attendants.

Then they parted ways, Hubert led his people out of the building and covered themselves with white cloaks once more. They tried to be discreet when they left the Earth Area, but some people noticed and recognized them.

”What was that?” Tang Shaoyang was confused as he checked the contract once more. He expected the contract to turn red or even black, expecting some sort of scheme from the Valuer Empire. Or else he could not explain why the Valuer Empire was doing this.

”This doesnʼt make sense…” He muttered in a low voice.

The Etherna Allianceʼs Main Base

”Hubert and Garnet are seen leaving the Earth Area with three more people we donʼt know…” The Fortunaʼs Guild Leader shared the message he received from his people that he asked to watch the Earth Area.

Fabian and Andrea had been staying with their Guild Leader together for the last three hours. They were watching the movement from the Valuer Empire, The Gondar Alliance, and The Tang Empire.

That was right, The Fortuna Guild paused their operation for the dimensional tower just to observe the situation within and outside the city. Thanks to their Guild Leader, they found out that the Tang Empire pulled back their people from outside the city.

It was clear that the Tang Empire was going to attack, and they soon found out which side the Tang Empire attacked, The Valuer Empire. The elite scouts from the Fortuna Guild found out that the Tang Empire occupied all fifteen resource points owned by the Valuer Empire. That explained why Hubert went to meet the Tang Empire.

The Fortuna Guildʼs Guild Leader was surprised by how fast the Tang Empire took those resources. The second surprise was coming from the Valuer Empire as they did not retaliate or try to take back their resource points.

The Fortuna Guildʼs Guild Leader quickly found out that the Tang Empire had taken hostages. While they could not determine the number, his elite scout found out that one of the God Ranks was taken captive.

As soon as he found out that Hubert was coming out from the Earth Area, The Fortuna Guild did not hesitate to pay Tranquil Valley for information. The Guild Leader, Fabian, and Andrea used their own money to pay for it.

Tranquil Valley was a unique faction with millions of members across the God Realm. That was right, it was more like an information broker than a faction that fought for territory and resources. They did not have an actual territory in the God Realm, but they almost had their own people in the big allianceʼs territory.

The Fortuna Guildʼs elite scout soon told them that the Tang Empire released the hostage not long after Hubert left the Earth Area. After finding out, the Valuer Empire decided to talk instead of fighting the Tang Empire. They knew that the Valuer Empire knew something they did not, so they did not hesitate to pay a steep price for information.

”Oooh…” The Guild Leader was surprised as he read the message from The Tranquil Valley. He had seen the general information about Tang Shaoyang, and the Tranquil Valley would appraise the price for the requested information. That was the procedure for the Tranquil Valley.

”Whatʼs wrong?” Fabian was quite concerned and asked his Guild Leader. He was afraid that the Tang Empire might catch the scout team. Even though it was an elite scout team, their fighting power could not be compared to a God Rank in a battle. If the Tang Empire could capture a God Rank alive, then it would not be hard to capture their elite scouts.

”The Tranquil Valley only asked for one billion GC for the information. This is quite cheap for their rate…” The Guild Leader furrowed his brow, ”And we will get the information as soon as we pay them.”

The Fortuna Guildʼs Guild Leader did not hesitate to pay one billion GC without waiting for Fabian and Andreaʼs opinions.

”I have paid them…” He immediately received the information from the Tranquil Valley as soon as the pay went through.

His face lost its color when he found Tang Shaoyangʼs profile. He understood why the information was quite cheap for the Tranquil Valleyʼs standard. It was because there was not much in the profile. However, even though there was not much information known about Tang Shaoyang, that was enough to make his legs go weak and his face pale.

Fabian and Andrea quickly noticed, ”Whatʼs wrong? Can you finish your words?” Fabian was quite anxious for their Guild Leader to make this kind of expression. Instead of an answer, he got a notification as he received a message from his Guild Leader. Not just him, but Andrea also received the message.

Fabian made a checkmark in his head when he saw the affiliation, but then he read the next affiliation and his face paled. He reread the same sentence several times, ensuring he did not read it wrong.

His chest heaved up and down when he realized that he had not read it wrong. He looked up at his friend and Guild Leader, both having similar expressions. It made sense now why the Valuer Empire decided to visit the Tang Empire for negotiation instead of fighting back to free their people.

He was shocked when he saw the level, but he was pale when he was the second part of the affiliation. It was just hard to believe that Tang Shaoyang was an Executive Administrator. If Tang Shaoyang was a Junior Administrator, that was still believable, but not an Executive Administrator.

Who would expect someone from a new world like Earth could become an Executive Administrator? He never thought about it as he knew it was impossible, until today. He believed the Gondar Alliance or the Valuer Empire also did not think this was possible.

Fabian believed that the Valuer Empire just found out about Tang Shaoyangʼs other identity recently. Or else, the Valuer Empire would not dare to try to take advantage of the Tang Empire. Not when The Emperor was also an Executive Administrator.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm down a little bit before he continued to read the information.
