Chapter 291, First Intimate Contact

*Bang!* With Feng Qianxue’s support, Qin Yichen did not fall to the ground but instead collapsed into her arms.

“Miss Feng, quickly form a contract with this Phoenix Egg…” Before losing consciousness, Qin Yichen barely managed to squeeze out these words before completely falling into Feng Qianxue’s arms.

“Ah!” Having an unfamiliar man fall into her arms immediately made Feng Qianxue’s face turn bright red. She could even feel Qin Yichen’s masculine warm breath on her jade-like arms. That heat caused her delicate body to tremble.

“Hey, are you alright?” Holding the powerless Qin Yichen, Feng Qianxue did not know what to do. After calling out several times and getting no response, she could only shake her head helplessly. Still, she did not push him away.

Feng Qianxue’s gaze soon fell on the Phoenix Egg in Qin Yichen’s hands.

“This… this is a Phoenix Egg? He… he wants to give it to me?” Recalling Qin Yichen’s words before he fainted, Feng Qianxue’s heart rippled with emotion. A Phoenix Egg, even a damaged one, had value far beyond what money could measure. Even her Family, the Feng Family, would expend all their Family’s resources to fight for a Phoenix Egg.

Yet this person, with whom she did not have a deep relationship with, whom she had even disliked before, directly offered to give it to her.

However, Feng Qianxue did not follow Qin Yichen’s instructions to form a contract with the Phoenix Egg. Instead, she sat down, allowing this man to lie in her jade-like arms, waiting for him to wake up.

“Just who are you? Why do you treat me so well?” Looking at the handsome and refined face of the man in her arms, Feng Qianxue could not help but recall their first meeting, the sincere warmth and care in his eyes that she had never seen in Ouyang Haotian. She just hoped she had seen them from Ouyang Haotian. No, she convinced herself she had seen them from him.

He gave her the valuable Heaven Fire Gathering Pill Formula without asking for anything in return. Then months later, in this Extreme Flame Zone, he risked his life to protect her and even revealed his legendary True Dragon Martial Soul…

Feng Qianxue kept thinking but could not come up with any reason why he treat her so well.

“Could it be that he loves me? But how is that possible?” Unable to figure it out, Feng Qianxue suddenly thought of a possibility, and her cheeks immediately turned red again.

Lost in these thoughts, time passed, perhaps half an hour, or maybe one or two hours.

Finally, Qin Yichen, who had his eyes tightly closed, showed slight movement in his eyelids.

“Hmm?” Feeling extremely comfortable where he was resting, Qin Yichen made a dreamy sound and unconsciously nuzzled against the jade-like arms that felt like lotus roots.

However, this nuzzling caused some trouble, as he seemed to notice he had touched something soft, and his eyes immediately opened wide.

Having a certain area suddenly touched, Feng Qianxue was stunned for a moment. Then, quickly coming to her senses and seeing Qin Yichen’s wide-eyed stare, she suddenly pushed him away. She glared at him with embarrassment and anger. “You… you perverted scoundrel! How dare you be so frivolous!?”

It should be known that Feng Qianxue had never had such intimate contact with any man before. Even with Ouyang Haotian, she only treated him like her Brother, at most only held hands with her. Though, it could be said that Ouyang Haotian had been the one who avoided anything more than that.

Although her heartstrings had been stirred by Qin Yichen’s actions before, this did not mean she had already fallen for him.

Having him lie in her arms was one thing, but to do such frivolous things…  Feng Qianxue naturally was angered and embarrassed.

Seeing Feng Qianxue’s blushing face, Qin Yichen became momentarily entranced. However, his gaze earned him another glare from Feng Qianxue.

“Ahem… Well, Miss Feng, are you alright?” After being glared at, Qin Yichen came back to his senses. He coughed twice to cover his embarrassment and asked.

Using his True Dragon Martial Soul had been extremely draining on him. Even that brief moment had almost completely depleted both his Yuan Energy and Spiritual Energy.

Feng Qianxue did not answer him but instead turned her delicate body away in anger.

Seeing Feng Qianxue like this, Qin Yichen felt somewhat helpless. However, since she clearly was not injured, he felt relieved. It seemed like while he was unconsciousness, they had not been attacked by Flame Demons.

Thinking about how he had seemingly touched Feng Qianxue’s private area, Qin Yichen’s heart trembled. Both remained silent, creating an awkward atmosphere.

Just when they did not know how to break this awkward situation, the Phoenix Egg in Qin Yichen’s hands suddenly showed a slight tremor.

“The Phoenix Egg… This is bad!”

Noticing the egg’s movement, Qin Yichen’s expression suddenly became serious.

“Miss Feng, I just made an agreement with that Phoenix. You need to quickly form a contract with this Phoenix Egg, or it will die!”

As if finding a perfect topic, Qin Yichen hurriedly ran to Feng Qianxue’s side, holding the Phoenix Egg while explaining to her.

During his earlier confrontation with the Phoenix Manifestation, Qin Yichen had learned that the formation of the Extreme Flame Zone was due to this Phoenix Egg. However, the egg had been damaged for some unknown reason. Each occurrence of the Heavenly Flame City Takeover was caused by the Phoenix Manifestation’s attempts to save the Phoenix Egg.

No matter how hard the Phoenix Manifestation tried, it could only temporarily delay the death of the young life within the egg, She could not completely heal it.

However, Qin Yichen told the Phoenix Manifestation he had a solution. This was to let the egg form a Life Contract with Feng Qianxue, who possessed a Fire Phoenix Martial Soul. Once the Life Contract was formed, when Feng Qianxue’s Martial Soul awakens, the Phoenix Egg would also undergo rebirth!

After thousands of years, the Phoenix Manifestation’s consciousness knew that even with all her might, the Phoenix Egg would not last much longer. For some reason, the words of this boy with a True Dragon Martial Soul carried an unusual powerful sense of conviction, making her choose to believe him.

Feng Qianxue now also turned her attention to the Phoenix Egg. Upon observation, she noticed that the Life Force within the egg seemed to be slowly dissipating. For some reason, she could not help but place her jade-like hand on the egg. Her delicate body trembling slightly.

Because the moment she touched the Phoenix Egg, she seemed to feel her yet-unawakened Fire Phoenix Martial Soul quiver, and from within the egg, a sorrowful aura seemed to emanate…

“But I… I don’t know how to form a Life Contract!” Feng Qianxue withdrew her arm and anxiously said to Qin Yichen.

Seeing Feng Qianxue like this, Qin Yichen seemed to recall his past life, how this girl would ask him about everything, that feeling of being relied upon…
