Alchemy Master

Chapter 252, Division of Labor

To establish a Business Alliance in Central Province City, besides needing certain background connections, what was most important was having merchandise and Pills that were more attractive than other Business Alliances.

For Qin Yichen, none of these were problems.

Background: As Guest Officer of Alchemy Peak, even members of the Eight Millennial Families would have to treat him with respect. Moreover, the Zhao Family held one and a half percent, and due to matters concerning Bian Lingzhu and the Yuan Healing Pill, the Bian Family also received one percent ownership.

With these three identities, in terms of background, no other Business Alliance in Central Province had such strong backing.

As for attractive merchandise and Pills…

The advertisement for Compound Pill at the Alchemy World Summit had not been made in vain.

Though the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce had not opened yet, its reputation had already spread throughout the entire Thousand Mist Empire.

…

In Central Province City, at the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce.

Little Ling’er had gone sightseeing with Zhao Ritian, and the few people who came with the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce were all busy in the shop. In the spacious hall, only Qin Yichen and Ye Liangchen sat quietly.

Qin Yichen casually sat in the main seat of the hall, while Ye Liangchen’s face showed excitement, completely unaffected by the earlier incident at the city entrance.

After some discussion, Ye Liangchen’s expression became somewhat serious.

“Qin Yichen, you are really going to release five types of Compound Pills at once?” Ye Liangchen asked in disbelief.

This was not because he was surprised that Qin Yichen could produce five Pill Formulas for Compound Pills. For this youth who had created many miracles, and Ye Liangchen felt anything incomprehensible he did was normal. However, Compound Pills were Pills that could revolutionize the market. Even one new type could potentially cause a huge impact in the market. If five types were released together, the Pill market in Central Province, or even the entire Thousand Mist Empire, would definitely face an unprecedented impact.

Although he had heard Qin Yichen mention earlier that the guy he was holding had strong backing, and with Qin Yichen and Zhao Ritian’s reputation, they could intimidate many of the minor players. Once so many Compound Pills got released, the huge profits would definitely attract the attention of the other major powers. At that time, relying on the Central Province Zhao Family or his identity as Guest Officer of Alchemy Peak would not be enough to maintain stability.

After all, Central Province City was in just one region of the Thousand Mist Empire, and the Thousand Mist Empire was just one of the four provinces of the Great Prosperity Grand Empire. Moreover, among the four provinces, due to certain reasons, the Thousand Mist Empire’s overall strength ranked last.

“Is there a problem?”  Qin Yichen raised his eyebrows, though he had his own thoughts.

After seeing Feng Qianxue, he knew he no longer had time for quiet cultivation. Not only did he need to improve his own strength, but to contend with Ouyang Haotian, he also had to develop the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce in a short time.

Seeing Qin Yichen’s expression, Ye Liangchen gritted his teeth, steeled his heart, slammed the table with his palm and declared firmly, “No problem! Damn it, five means five, let’s do it! How could such an exciting thing not include me, Ye Liangchen!?”

Qin Yichen nodded with great satisfaction at Ye Liangchen’s response. He knew Ye Liangchen’s ambitions were not limited to tiny Spreading Cloud City or Heavenly Unicorn Dynasty. Even this Central Province City might not be a big enough stage for Ye Liangchen to display his abilities!

“I’ll leave the promotion and miscellaneous matters to you.” Qin Yichen rubbed his face. During this time, he not only trained every day without slacking, but for the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce, he had also refined large batches of Pills, working day and night.

Even with his strong willpower, he felt exhausted. Fortunately, Ye Liangchen had finally arrived, and many trivial matters could be handed over.

“Leave it to me with confidence, but you still need to find a group of trustworthy Alchemy Masters. Compound Pills will definitely be extremely popular, we can’t rely on you alone to supply the entire business.” Ye Liangchen nodded and raised the most crucial issue.

“Alchemy Masters?” Qin Yichen frowned – finding Alchemy Masters would not be easy…

However, at a certain moment, he suddenly slapped his forehead, wondering how he could have forgotten.

The Alchemy Tower – every Apprentice who could enter was an extremely talented genius in Alchemy. With Qin Yichen’s current prestige in the Alchemy Tower surpassing even some Elders, if he just asked, how could he lack Alchemy Masters?

[However, we still need to maintain confidentiality…] After some thought, Qin Yichen decided to recruit from the Alchemy Tower Apprentices. Of course, to prevent Apprentices like Wang Daoyun, he also secretly made a rule – even if their talent was slightly inferior, he would absolutely not accept those with improper conduct.

“Then that settles it. I’ll go recruit some Alchemy Masters now. Let’s set the opening date of the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce to be one month from now,” Qin Yichen nodded and said.

…

The news of Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce recruiting Alchemy Masters spread like wildfire within the Alchemy Tower.

Some Apprentices who came from Major Families with the purpose of recruiting talent were extremely angry, but faced with Qin Yichen’s prestige, no one dared to directly criticize him.

As a result, many people frequently reported to various Elders about Qin Yichen maliciously poaching Alchemy Tower Apprentices.

However, the Alchemy Tower higher-ups seemed to tacitly approve of this matter, turning a blind eye and not even bothering to warn Qin Yichen.

News that the Central Province Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce would soon open spread throughout the vast Northern Region’s Central Province, and even within the Thousand Mist Capital, many interested parties received the news.

When they learned there was still about a month’s time left, countless powerful mercenaries and Alchemy Masters seeking fame, all heading for Central Province City.

During this one-month period, Qin Yichen also took time to take Little Ling’er sightseeing around Central Province City, which helped relieve and release his deeply depressed heart over the matter of Feng Qianxue.

Meanwhile in the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce, this month was far from peaceful.

In the entire Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce, except for matters concerning Alchemy Masters, everything else was handled by Ye Liangchen, while the Alchemy Masters’ workshop was managed by the Alchemy-obsessed Zhao Ritian.

Their daily work inevitably brought them face to face, and every encounter would definitely create quite a commotion.

For instance, when Ye Liangchen went to the Alchemy Masters’ workshop to collect Pills, someone ‘accidentally’ used a Spiritual Energy Attack on him, making him fall flat on his face in front of everyone.

Or when Zhao Ritian took people to get materials, someone lured Xiao Bai to the center of the Soaring Joy Chamber Of Commerce, and Zhao Ritian accidentally provoked this inconspicuous ‘Dog’, resulting in him being chased all around by the murderous aura-emanating Xiao Bai…
