Alchemy Master

Chapter 104, Zhou Family

Zhou Tianwei!

Although he was not listed among the Three Outstanding Prodigies of Heavenly Unicorn Dynasty, in the Royal City, he had a reputation no less than them.

The reason, naturally, was because Zhou Tianwei was an Alchemy Master! Moreover, he was an Alchemy Master with excellent talent.

Most importantly, he was also the personal disciple of Gu Ye, the number one Alchemy Grandmaster of the Heavenly Unicorn Dynasty!

Adding to that his status in the Zhou Family, he was absolutely one of the most dazzling geniuses in the Royal City.

Upon hearing Qin Yichen mention Zhou Tianwei, Shu Ruyan’s Third Uncle’s face instantly froze. Despite daring to lord over Shu Ruyan, when it came to a genius like Zhou Tianwei, just his name alone was enough to completely suppress him.

The Shu Family was now merely a Third Tier Family, insignificant as an ant before the Zhou Family!

“You little liar!” The Third Uncle still tried to bluff, but his tone was obviously not as forceful as before, and he was panicking inside.

“Since he’s so eager to keep them, then all of you should send these goods to his place.” Qin Yichen’s lips curled into a mischievous arc, then he nodded at the worried Shu Ruyan, “Shu Xin, accompany me to the Zhou Family Residence.”

“I…” Before Shu Xin could react, she saw him already walking towards the street exit, so she hurriedly followed. When she caught up to Qin Yichen, she asked, “Where are you going?”

“To the Zhou Family, where else?” Qin Yichen believed that asking Zhou Tianwei to make an appearance should not be a problem.

“But, the Zhou Family is that way…” Shu Xin stopped, pointing in the opposite direction of where he was walking, saying in a somewhat disappointed tone. [You… Do you really know the Young Master of the Zhou Family!?]

“Uh…” Qin Yichen stopped, feeling embarrassed as the pretty girl looked at him suspiciously. Then, feeling annoyed and embarrassed, he scolded, “If you knew it was that way, why did you lead me this way?”

In his previous life, although he had stayed in the Royal City, he had been so immersed in the Dao of Alchemy that he had mostly stayed in the Alchemy Guild. He had hardly gone out. Naturally he did not know where the Zhou Family was.

“I…” Shu Xin glared at him angrily, her cheeks puffed up. [How could there be such an unreasonable person in this world?! He was clearly the one walking in front. How did it become my fault!?]

“What ‘I’? Hurry up and lead the way. If all those things get swallowed up by your Third Uncle later, I won’t be responsible!” Qin Yichen glared at her, looking righteous, angering Shu Xin to the point where she wanted to take out her whip and lash him.

[This bastard really deserved a beating!] However, Shu Xin was also worried about the goods, so she did not say much more. She just angrily led the way towards the Zhou Family’s direction, puffing her cheeks.

Meanwhile, at the entrance of the company, their dear Third Uncle naturally saw this scene, and immediately, a cold smile appeared at the corner of his lips. [A kid who doesn’t even know where the Zhou Family is. How could he possibly be from the Zhou Family? How could he possibly know the Young Master of the Zhou Family, Zhou Tianwei!?]

“Take it all away!” He shouted angrily, and then the men behind him, like Wolves and Tigers, snatched away box after box of goods.

“Young Mistress!” Seeing them taking away the goods, Uncle Wen became anxious, “This is the Young Mistress’s lifeline. Just say the word, Young Mistress, and I, Uncle Wen, will guard these goods even if it costs me my life!”

“Uncle Wen, don’t be rash.” Shu Ruyan tried to persuade him, then said in a low voice, “Uncle Wen, do you remember the Pill you took last time?”

“Of course I remember.”

“That should be a Second Class Fourth Grade Pill. How many people in the entire Heavenly Unicorn Dynasty do you think can refine it?”

Shu Ruyan’s words made Uncle Wen’s body tremble, and then he too stood there quietly, watching those people forcibly take away the goods.

The Zhou Family was originally just a First Tier Family in the Royal City, but they produced a Spirit Realm expert that only appears once every few hundred years. Thus, he had ascended to become one of the four Major Families of the Royal City, and no one dared to underestimate the Zhou Family!

Even though the Heaven Blade had been out of sight for nearly a hundred years, this was the deterrent power of an absolute expert. It was all because everyone knew they could not afford the wrath of a Spirit Realm expert.

However, the current Zhou Family was far from what it used to be. After all, without the Heaven Blade presiding over the Family, it was not as convenient for the Zhou Family to do many things, and they were far behind the other three Major Families in terms of competing for resources.

Fortunately, this generation produced Zhou Tianwei, allowing the Zhou Family to catch their breath.

If Zhou Tianwei could take over the position of Guildmaster of the Royal City Alchemy Guild in the future, the Zhou Family would continue to prosper for a long time.

“Are you sure you want to go over?” Looking at the massive Zhou Family Residence in the distance, Shu Xin seemed a bit hesitant and uneasy.

“If we’re not going over, what did we come here for?” Qin Yichen raised an eyebrow, taunting, “Haiz, you’re not scared, are you?”

“Who’s scared!?” Shu Xin immediately reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, glaring at him angrily. She soon marched towards the Zhou Family Residence with her head held high.

But after just a few steps, just looking at the stone lions at the entrance of the Zhou Family Residence that were taller than a person, she became timid, unable to take another step.

Qin Yichen chuckled. Not making things difficult for her, he walked in front, heading straight for the entrance of the Zhou Family Residence.

“Stop!”

At the entrance, he was stopped by the guards.

“I would have to trouble you two Brothers to go and inform Young Master Zhou. Just say an old acquaintance surnamed Qin from Spreading Cloud City is here to visit.”

Qin Yichen lowered his posture, and as he spoke, he handed a bulging money pouch to one of the guards.

Money makes the world go round after all. Moreover, they just needed to go in and report, yet the guard could earn over a hundred silver coins! After the guard took the money pouch, he quickly went inside.

Originally, that guard was just planning to casually report and then come out, but he did not expect that the Young Master of the Zhou Family, who was in popular demand, to actually came out with him after hearing this message.

This made the guard’s palms sweat.

He really did not expect that the seemingly ordinary young man at the door was actually a friend of their Young Master.

He even felt that the money pouch was getting a bit hot in his hands…

“It’s really you?” When Zhou Tianwei came out, he saw Qin Yichen smiling at him, and a look of surprise flashed in his eyes.

He remembered that this guy had boasted about becoming a Guest Officer of the Zhou Family, [Could it be…]

“Long time no see, Brother Zhou, you’re still as dashing as ever.” Qin Yichen greeted him with a grin, automatically moved past the guard who was constantly wiping off his sweat. As he walked over, he patted the guard’s shoulder, signalling him to relax.

He naturally would not be petty enough to take back those few silver coins.

This scene, however, left Shu Xin dumbfounded. Her mouth was opened wide enough to fit an egg, her beautiful eyes revealing deep disbelief. [He actually knows Zhou Tianwei!?!?]

“Come in and have a seat.” Although Zhou Tianwei did not understand why Qin Yichen had come to find him at this time, he did not dare to underestimate this young man who was younger than himself. He knew very well that this guy’s talent was above his own!

“No need to go in. Right now, there’s a bit of trouble that I need Brother Zhou’s help with.” Qin Yichen’s face wore a mysterious smile.
