Chapter 102, Heavenly Unicorn City

This scene was imprinted in everyone’s hearts. Qin Yichen’s image instantly became towering in the minds of those from the caravan.

“Let him go!” The strong men brought by the young man slowly approached Qin Yichen.

“You bastard! You’re just a lowly commoner! How dare you hit me!? Do you know who I am!?” The young man under his foot had a purple face filled with rage. He shouted furiously with all his might.

Qin Yichen glanced at him disdainfully, not taking his threats seriously.

He dared to kill people from the Du Family in the Royal City, let alone such a small character like this. Even if he was from one of the four Major Families in the Royal City, so what? Those who deserved to die, he would kill without hesitation!

“Kill him for me!” The young man screamed. He did not believe Qin Yichen would really dare to kill him.

*Hmph!* Seeing him constantly babbling, Qin Yichen’s brows furrowed. He coldly snorted and applied more pressure with his foot. The body under his foot was instantly pressed down further, and a mouthful of fresh blood spurted from his mouth. His cursing words also came to an abrupt stop.

“He…”

Shu Ruyan and Shu Xin Sisters both looked at Qin Yichen with disbelief. Especially Shu Xin. She could not have imagined that the awful guy she had been bullying all this time would have such a domineering side to him.

Meanwhile, although Shu Ruyan was shocked by his strength, there was also a hint of hidden worry in her eyes.

[Would Uncle Shu Huili let this go? The Family is already in a precarious situation. If our ‘relatives’ came to make trouble again…] Shu Ruyan sighed in her heart, and there was no trace of joy on her pretty face.

*Cough cough…* The young man coughed blood. Although he dared not curse Qin Yichen anymore, his gaze towards the Shu Sisters was full of resentment. “You two b*tc*es. To think you’re actually siding with an outsider against me!? I won’t let you off! If I lose a single hair, you two will have to die with me!”

He shouted hysterically, his face ferocious.

“You!” Shu Xin was furious and wanted to go step on him a few times, but was held back by Shu Ruyan.

Although what he said was unpleasant, it was the truth. If something happened to him, would her Uncle not have more excuses?

After a moment of struggle on her face, Shu Ruyan finally turned her gaze towards Qin Yichen with some helplessness, “Young Master Qin…”

Qin Yichen turned back, and seeing her helpless expression, he understood her concerns. After stomping once more, he kicked the young man away, coldly uttering two words, “Get lost!”

As he was kicked away, everyone clearly heard a bone-breaking sound mixed with his miserable scream.

“You!” The first level Peak Stage Martial Grandmaster brought by the young man glared at Qin Yichen angrily. He wanted to make a move, but seeing Uncle Wen, whose cultivation was similar to his, intentionally or unintentionally blocking him from Qin Yichen, he could only coldly snort and hurriedly help the young man who was groaning on the ground.

“Good… good for you, Shu Ruyan!”

After being helped up, the young man first took a Pill, and after catching his breath, he pointed at Shu Ruyan with a trembling finger and viciously said, “I won’t let this go! Just you wait!”

Originally, he wanted to say some harsh words to Qin Yichen as well, but seeing Qin Yichen’s narrowed eyes, he could not help but shudder. He hurriedly called his men back and fled in a sorry state.

“Hehe, well done!” Shu Xin’s carefree laughter came from behind. Her completely undisguised words made the young man stumble, his body shaking like a sieve.

She was bullying him too much!

Watching his departing figure, Qin Yichen did not take it to heart. If he could not handle such a small character, how could he talk about dealing with the Du Family?

However, after this incident, the attitude of the caravan guards towards him had obviously greatly changed.

“Pack up. We’ll set off early tomorrow morning. Return to the Royal City as soon as possible!” Shu Ruyan ordered with a worried face.

Hearing this, all the caravan guards dispersed, leaving only Qin Yichen and the Shu Sisters.

The three stood quietly for a while. After a long time, Shu Ruyan finally spoke, “Thank you, Young Master Qin, for your righteous aid.”

No matter what, they had safely passed through this time. If things really did not work out, in the worst case scenario, they would have to give up their Parents’ business, sell everything, and she would take her Sister to live in seclusion in some small city.

Thinking of this, Shu Ruyan’s mood instantly became much better.

“It was nothing.” Qin Yichen made a small smile. He paused for a moment, and then said, “Miss Shu, don’t you think this is like setting a Tiger free back to the mountain?”

“What’s meant to come will come.” Shu Ruyan sighed, a bitter smile hanging on the corner of her lip.

“Is your Shu Family… really a merchant Family?”

“Yes.” Shu Ruyan nodded, as if remembering something sad, her expression also dimmed.

“Perhaps, I can help you.” The corner of Qin Yichen’s mouth curled into an arc. He already saw a way to establish a firm foothold in the Royal City without exposing his identity. He just needed to stand behind the Shu Family!

“Help me?” Shu Ruyan was slightly stunned, a hint of confusion flashing in her beautiful eyes. [I hardly have any relations with you. Why would you want to help me?]

“Hehe, I just happen to want to earn some money for medicine.” Qin Yichen grinned, leaving her with a profound and mysterious view of his back.

“What a strange guy…” Looking at his back, Shu Xin pouted, tilting her head and muttering.

Perhaps because Qin Yichen had vented her inner anger, her hostility towards him had diminished by quite an extent. However, thinking of his lecherous gaze on her legs, her resentment immediately surged.

“Hmph! He must have some ulterior motive for doing this!” The little beauty snorted softly before following behind Shu Ruyan towards the carriage.

…

Indeed, the caravan did not encounter any more attacks afterwards. Obviously, this was a premeditated scheme by Shu Ruyan’s Uncle.

The journey was smooth, and the caravan hardly stopped much on the way, heading straight for the Royal City.

After a few days, the outline of a huge city appeared in Qin Yichen’s view. The massive city sprawled there like a giant beast. Even from afar, it gave people a sense of grandeur and vastness.

Seeing the outline of the Royal City again, the oppressive atmosphere in the caravan not only did not decrease but became even more depressing.

Shu Ruyan knew clearly that her Uncle would not let this go. Although the journey had been calm, she knew this was definitely the prelude to an approaching storm.

This was Heavenly Unicorn City, the Royal City of the Heavenly Unicorn Dynasty. Its scale was at least ten times larger than Spreading Cloud City.

The Heavenly Unicorn City had twelve city gates, each with an endless flow of people, showing the prosperity of the Royal City.
