Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys

Chapter 937: Chapter 335 Approaching (Combined Chapter) _3

Most wizards specialize more in elemental witchcraft, like fire element, water element, and less commonly earth element, ice element, and so on.

In other words, the pursuit of powerful damage is the goal of most wizards.

Only a minority would spend their time researching potions, raising pet beasts, or making puppets.

”Captain, could it be that you made these three puppets by yourself? I didn’t see any production nameplates on them.” Neoro asked suspiciously.

Although he knows his captain is a Metal Series Wizard, he thinks his captain wouldn’t spend so much time and effort making a puppet, especially since he’s been training them on Extraordinary Battle Techniques every day.

”Yes, I made them myself.”

”Hmm?” The three of them looked at Rein, somewhat surprised, their eyes revealing a sort of incomprehension, as if saying, ’Captain, have you grown fond of making puppets again?’

”Who wants to go first?” Rein, feeling strange being stared at by the three, immediately stopped dwelling on the issue and asked.

”I’ll give it a try first!” Viery looked at the three puppets, also quite curious, and promptly said.

Rein nodded and immediately brought the original version of the Iron Plate Battle Puppet forward, standing in the center of the field.

”Whoosh!”

The Iron Plate Battle Puppet stomped heavily and swiftly charged towards Viery.

”Clang!”

Facing the Iron Plate Battle Puppet’s right-handed chop, Viery cautiously wielded his greatsword with both hands to parry, but the next second, his expression relaxed and he quickly launched his counterattack.

”Clang clang! Sss!”

After two successive attacks were blocked, Viery moved to the side of the Iron Plate Battle Puppet and delivered a chop, instantly slicing through the puppet’s waist.

However, even though it was damaged, the Iron Plate Battle Puppet continued attacking Viery fearlessly.

”Ah! Oh no, Captain, I broke it.” Viery stepped back two paces, shouting.

”It’s fine, it’s just a test.” Rein waved his hand, saying.

He didn’t mind the damage; his main focus was on the Iron Plate Battle Puppet’s performance just now.

”About the combat power of an Official Knight, with no obvious weaknesses, fearless, equating to the combat power of a Senior Knight. Indeed, at the Official Wizard level, this Iron Plate Battle Puppet is of little use.”

Rein pondered, and meanwhile, he walked forward and placed his right hand on the damaged part; in the next second, the iron plate returned to its original state.

”Captain, the puppet’s combat capability isn’t great. I can beat ten of them by myself.”

”Oh? Then try this one and see.”

Rein smiled and waved his hand, and the Dark Silver Battle Puppet entered the field.

”Hmm? Different color? Different material?” Neoro squinted his eyes and quickly noticed the difference.

”Ding ding ding!”

The battle in the center of the field had already started.

In less than half a minute, Viery’s successive chops all struck the surface of the Hardened Fine Gold Battle Puppet, but after sparks flew, they left only shallow marks.

”Limit Break! Whirlwind Slash!”

Several minutes later, faced with some embarrassment, Viery continuously unleashed his burst and Secret Skill before managing to sever one arm of the Hardened Fine Gold Battle Puppet.

”Huff~ Huff~”

”Captain, why is this puppet so tough?” Viery gasped, asking in surprise.

”Could it be Hardened Essence Gold?” Angus approached, touched it, and exclaimed.

”Yes!”

”No wonder! Captain, you used so much Hardened Essence Gold to make a battle puppet; that’s so extravagant!” Viery’s eyes widened.

It’s known that many Great Knights don’t have a full set of Knight Armor made entirely of Hardened Essence Gold, yet their captain has started using it to make puppets.

”Captain, the other one... could it be enchanted Silver?” Marquis’s son Neoro asked, noticing the familiar metal color.

”Yes.” Rein smiled gently, nodding his head.

”Hiss~” The three of them gasped sharply, their faces showing disbelief.

”You all train first, I’ll think for a while.”

...

Rein walked to the side, thinking about the combat power displayed by the Hardened Fine Gold Battle Puppet just now.

”Super strong defensive power, combined with fearlessness, equating to the combat power of a Peak Knight, comparable to the initial stage of Great Knight against opponents who don’t use witchcraft.”

”Indeed, different materials lead to varied combat powers.”

”Moreover, the ordinary Iron Plate Battle Puppet is not useless. If combined with a powerful bomb, it becomes a powerful weapon—a Self-destruct Battle Puppet...”

”One isn’t enough? Then make ten, or even more....”

”Right, the puppet’s notes say it’s synchronized with the level of the Activation Technique, so what will the effect after Activation Technique lv2 be?”

Since Activation Technique is special, it’s rarely seen as a guiding-type witchcraft.

Rein recalled the guiding-type witchcraft he mastered; prior to this, the only one was ’Scorching Touch.’

Curiously, he decided to add a point to see the effect.

As the point was added, Activation Technique rapidly leveled up to lv2, and a flood of training memories regarding Activation Technique entered Rein’s mind.

After slightly refocusing, Rein immediately looked at the change in the description of Activation Technique lv2:

Activation Technique lv2 effect: Consumes a certain amount of spiritual power, evokes Mysterious Side Energy Particles, grants a humanoid or animal-like dead object activity, enabling it to have primary wisdom and some ability to act, duration one hour.

”Oh, the duration extended from half an hour to one hour?” Rein’s eyes lit up.
