Chapter 920: Chapter 331: Dragon Knight Selection (Two-in-One Chapter)

Originally, Rein was riding on the Blood Feather, about forty to fifty meters away from the rock wall. At this moment, he held the riding spear horizontally, squeezed his legs, and with a loud eagle screech from the Blood Feather.

Instantly, the man and the eagle shot towards the rock wall like an arrow, reaching it almost instantaneously.

”Boom!”

With a thunderous sound!

A circle of white air waves suddenly exploded at the point of impact on the rock wall, spraying a large amount of rubble. As the dust cleared, a basin-sized dent appeared on the rock wall!

And the nearly four-meter-long riding spear in Rein’s hand seemed to have vanished into thin air.

Because at this moment, part of Rein’s hand had also plunged into the rock wall, up to his forearm, naturally making the spear even harder to see.

Fortunately, the Blood Feather managed to buffer the impact of the charge by gripping heavily into the rock wall with its strong claws, otherwise it might have crashed into the wall slightly.

”The rock wall is more brittle than I thought.”

”No, it’s probably because my strength has increased, and I didn’t control the force just right.” Rein shook his head and said.

”Clang!”

He slowly drew the dark riding spear from the rock wall, bringing out a lot of rubble, revealing a bowl-sized circular hole on the wall.

At this moment, Rein suddenly lifted his head, looking to his left rear.

From afar, he saw four black dots flying towards them. Rein squinted slightly and immediately recognized that they were four Griffin Knights.

Apparently, the patrolling Griffin Knights had noticed the commotion here and had come to investigate.

”Hey, it’s actually Lord Rein.” As they got closer, Viscount Felk, the leader, exclaimed in a low voice.

He shook the reins and immediately accelerated forward.

Meanwhile, Fishe also smiled and said to the other two Griffin Knights, ”Didn’t you say you wanted to meet Lord Rein earlier? Well, here he is.”

”Viscount Felk, long time no see.” Rein waved his hand and greeted with a smile.

He had already noticed that the visitor was the vice-captain of the Griffin squad, Viscount Felk, an old acquaintance.

”Lord Rein, the creature under you should be some kind of Horned Owl Beast, right? It’s quite a rare flying mount!” The blonde-haired Felk looked at the majestic Blood Feather beneath Rein with amazement.

”Yes, a Blood Feathered Horned Eagle, which I acquired by chance.”

”Viscount Felk, I have always envied you Griffin Knights for being able to soar in the skies...” Rein said with a smile.

...

The two complimented each other briefly.

At this moment, Fishe inadvertently felt a ray of sunlight flash on his face, making him squint and look up naturally.

Huh?

He saw that the beam of light was actually coming through the rock wall of the main peak of the Hosga Mountain Range!

What’s going on?

He should be positioned on the north side of the main peak, with the sun blocked, so why is there light...

Wait.

”Hiss~”

Fishe rubbed his eyes, squinting to look more clearly, and instantly, his eyes widened with a sharp intake of breath.

Seeing Fishe’s stupefied expression, Felk and the other two Griffin Knights also turned to look out of curiosity.

The next second, the three of them froze just like Fishe, as if struck by lightning, their eyes bulging in disbelief!

This made Rein curious as well, so he looked up.

Hmm?

The spot where I struck the rock wall, was it penetrated?

At the mountain peak, seven to eight meters thick, a through-hole was punched out in the rock wall.

Even more strangely, it seemed that the sun was perfectly positioned so that a ray of sunlight penetrated through the hole, illuminating Mingster from the other side ahead of schedule.

”The original scenic view of the Hosga Mountain Range’s main peak - ’Golden Summit,’ might need a new name now... or rather, it gained a new landmark!” Native Fishe murmured in a daze.

Previously, on clear mornings, when the sun reached a certain position, it would bathe the main peak in radiant golden light, which had earned the view the name ’Golden Summit.’

Hearing Fishe’s words, even Felk fell silent momentarily.

Because they could hardly believe that Rein’s strike just created a new scenery spot.

Rein was slightly taken aback too!

After all, when he attacked, he hadn’t thought much, just found the rock wall of the Hosga Mountain Range’s main peak suitable.

However, the effect in front of him genuinely surprised him!

”Lord Rein, you’ve probably added a new scenic spot to Mingster. Soon, the administrative hall might ask you what name would be appropriate.” Felk said in surprise, with a smile.

”Well... I was just trying out a new Secret Technique, never expected this effect.” Rein shook his head, smiling wryly.

”Lord Rein, I think it should be named after you and called ’Rein’s Hole,’ what do you think?” Fishe suggested, flattering.

Fishe’s intention was simple, wanting the world to know who made this hole.

Yet upon hearing this, Rein was left stunned!

What? ’Rein’s Hole’, what kind of ridiculous name is that?

Even borrowing light through a wall would make more sense.

He had thought Fishe was a smart young man, but now it seemed he was just as bad at naming.
