Chapter 1358: Chapter 580: Supreme Fire Elemental Lord

Bang!

The golden scimitar and the golden power sword clashed again. Though the Golden Mage was a Lamp God Warlock, his swordsmanship was still quite impressive, drawing four arcs in the air with the scimitar, each one capable of cutting off a mortal’s head.

Even Angerong, who was watching, mumbled that it’s not bad.

However, reality mercilessly shattered the Golden Mage’s naive fantasy. Fugen had suppressed him in every aspect, and after two brief exchanges, the Golden Mage from Arabi realized it was impossible to defeat his enemy in melee combat.

Yet casters don’t need to defeat their foes in close combat. Within a spell, the Golden Mage transformed into a flowing stream of sand at his fingertips; Fugen’s sword cut through only emptiness, immediately followed by a white-hot arrow of light shooting out from afar, shrieking as it flew towards Fugen and exploded on him.

”Elemental Power! Hear my command!” The Golden Mage intoned the spell: ”Akka~ Ansenamu-ilai~ Yikum~”

”Boom! Boom boom!” Explosions echoed throughout the estate, the three-story building shattered into fragments. Amidst the flames and ruins, a gigantic fist over five meters in diameter, composed of fire and rock, shot forth, crashing down with thunderous force on the spot where Fugen stood.

Some extremely terrifying creature seemed to be summoned by the Golden Mage.

The smoke from the explosions made the spectators instinctively close their eyes. The onlooking Arabians cheered loudly, shouting as if declaring victory.

Only Angerong remained unmoved, standing calmly amid the chaos, observing.

As the smoke clears, the cheers of the Arabians abruptly stop.

”Gaba~ Gaba gaba~” came the muffled sounds from the dispersing ashes.

It’s Fugen! He had faced the Elemental Fist head-on!

The Primarch of the Emperor’s Sons held the Sotigo Battle Spear in one hand and the golden power sword in the other. He crossed spear and sword, with a halo of flowing light enveloping his entire body. His silver hair fluttered in the air. The Elemental Fist possessed world-ending power, but against Fugen, even the power of the stars must relent!

Angerong snorted begrudgingly, evidently noticing some ancient blessings on Fugen’s full plate armor and that his spear was indeed a Divine Weapon.

Is it true, looking good just makes you more popular?

”You call this, power?” Fugen deflected the Golden Mage’s attack, repelling the Elemental Fist: ”This isn’t enough, warlock of Arabi, show me your full strength!”

Upon saying that, the Emperor’s Son’s attack was so swift it was hard for the Golden Mage to believe. The Sotigo Battle Spear sliced through the air, carrying unmatched force enough to cleave the mage in two.

The Golden Mage paled, yet he hadn’t lost his fighting abilities, dodging backward with all his might, constricting his abdomen while continuing to chant the spell.

”Atmospheric Divine Shield!”

Dense smoke formed an impregnable shield wall, blocking the path between the two.

How could the Sotigo Battle Spear be resisted by ordinary magical shields? The whistling spear tip pierced through the surface of the Atmospheric Divine Shield, shattering it, which seemed invincible.

Yet the Golden Mage managed to avoid the fatal blow thanks to the Atmospheric Divine Shield. Reciting a spell, numerous azure water spheres shot towards Fugen, who sidestepped them. The water balls exploded consecutively, forming several Water Elements surrounding Fugen, but they couldn’t delay him for long. In just five seconds, the five Water Elements lay fallen before him.

”Elemental Supreme Lord! Hear my summons!” Yet this was enough. With the Golden Mage’s final call, some existence finally turned its gaze toward this fire-stricken estate.

A gigantic Fire Elemental Lord blasted the entire estate to ruins. It stood over fifty meters tall, with a whirlpool of lava forming its body. Its huge body was wrapped in magma, its face a massive skeletal head, and bright, high-temperature flames burned on its two giant horns. It roared furiously, wielding a giant hammer:

”Why did you awaken me? Kareem?!”

”Per the Lamp God covenant, I ask for your intervention, Supreme Elemental Lord!” The Golden Mage shouted.

”Very well!” The gigantic Fire Elemental Supreme Lord raised its hammer: ”Die, vermin!”

”Let the flames purify everything!”

This strike was so powerful that the earth trembled, and the entire Miraglino succumbed to its might. The city shook. The estate had already transformed into a place enveloped by flames, lava, and airwaves due to the Elemental Supreme Lord’s appearance, and dust broke free from gravity, rising into the sky.

In an instant, Fugen’s figure was swallowed by the giant hammer and flames; vibrant fire waves and surging fire pillars submerged the entire battlefield. The might of this strike made the entire city tremble, with everyone witnessing the King of Fire Elements’ appearance.

Seeing this, Angerong frowned, instinctively reaching for the axe behind his back.

Taking such a blow, Fugen finally let out a muffled groan, the Primarch’s unbalanced body hit with the blow, smashing the estate wall, crashing heavily into a ruin, immediately engulfed by flames.

But this victory clearly couldn’t satisfy the Golden Mage, for his opponent wasn’t defeated; he merely suffered superficial wounds. Relying on the Sotigo Battle Spear and the golden power sword Glory’s strength, the one strike was still blocked by Fugen.
