Gu Xi stayed in his dormitory for three full days and nights.

He finally calmed his mind and recovered his energy.

During these three days, Gu Xi was in a state of emptiness.

This made Gu Xi feel quite comfortable, and he almost forgot that he still had games to play and many worlds waiting for him to explore.

He pushed open the dormitory door, stretched his body, looked outside, and a thought flashed through his mind.

He didn’t know where to go today; maybe he should stay in the dormitory for another day?

However, Gu Xi eventually shook his head and walked out relying on his willpower.

At this moment, he was in the Chaoyang Radiance Guild, wearing very casual clothes; all his gear had turned into casual wear. His weapons and equipment had transformed into various ornaments hanging on him, not noticeable at all.

As for his two pieces of Orange Armor, they had become the most ordinary-looking items. Even if seen, no one would think these were Orange Armor.

After leaving the dormitory building, Gu Xi put his hands in his pockets, glanced around to confirm the way to the library, and then headed there at a brisk pace.

The members of the guild, busy in their comings and goings, recognized Gu Xi’s outfit as that of someone just returning from a mission and in a state of rest and relaxation.

At such times, people generally wouldn’t bother Gu Xi with things, but rather offered envious and encouraging smiles towards him.

After all, everyone understands the rarity of rest time; nobody wants to be troubled with a bunch of things when relaxing.

Gu Xi was in a good mood; whether he knew them or not, as long as they smiled at him, Gu Xi would smile back and nod in response.

Walking, stopping, and walking some more, Gu Xi soon arrived at the Radiant Library of the Chaoyang Radiance Guild.

This library before him was noticeably bigger than the library in Yalidu City that Gu Xi was familiar with.

The main structure of the library consisted of seven small buildings of varying sizes.

In the small garden outside the small buildings, it was filled with members sitting there and reading books. While they read, various fluctuations would emanate from their bodies.

Whenever these fluctuations exceeded a certain level, some tentacles or other things would appear among the flowers or from the trees around them to pull the reading members out of the strange aura.

The awakened members would then put down their books, relax, and leave some items under the rescuing flowers or trees as a token of gratitude.

Gu Xi noticed that most of the items they left were food or negative energy components.

The price wasn’t high, but it provided some assurance for their reading.

Gu Xi also noticed those abnormal fluctuations.

Amidst those abnormal fluctuations, many different illusions and changes could be seen.

It seemed the foundation of the Chaoyang Radiance Guild was quite solid.

After circling half of the small garden, Gu Xi entered the largest library building.

As soon as he entered, several skeletons approached him.

”Sir, what kind of books would you like to read? The books accessible to ordinary members are over here.”

Gu Xi immediately asked, ”My Soul Summoning Skill has reached Level 10. I’d like ’Book of the Box of Fate’ and ’Blood Feast Book’.”

Hearing this, the two skeletons stopped in their tracks.

They looked at each other and said, a bit embarrassed, ”I’m sorry, sir, but ’Book of the Box of Fate’ and ’Blood Feast Book’ are advanced books and require application.”

”I have a three-day access privilege to the Forbidden Book Area of the Radiant Library. Isn’t there ’Book of the Box of Fate’ and ’Blood Feast Book’ here?”

Hearing Gu Xi’s question, the two skeletons immediately responded.

”Sir, look at you. Why didn’t you say earlier that you could access the Forbidden Book Area? Yes, there are.

In the Forbidden Book Map, there are ’Book of the Box of Fate’ and ’Blood Feast Book.’ But you’re planning to promote during your summoning, correct?

The guild also has two specialized books on Soul Summoning Advancement. Would you like to read those as well? If so, I can bring them out for you too?”

”Ghost Dragon Book?”

Gu Xi glanced at the two skeletons.

The two skeletons also smiled and said.

”How could that be? A Soul Summoning Advancement Book like the Ghost Dragon Book is not in the guild, and even if it were, it wouldn’t be in the Forbidden Book Area; it would have been taken away long ago.

The two available are ’Book of the Grub,’ allowing you to use already broken bodies to breed undead insects such as spiders and centipedes, with levels comparable to Undead Enhancement Level.

Many who can’t find the Ghost Dragon Book choose this route, as it can eventually produce a Life-Weaving Spider Queen with strength comparable to a Ghost Dragon.

The other one is ’Book of Deceit,’ which uses dead bodies to transform them into special kinds of grotesque entities. You’re probably aware of the grotesque; the weak ones are weak, but the strong ones can indeed be very strong.

Some grotesques, at Level 1, due to their special circumstances, can directly destroy higher tier soldiers.

Hence, the ’Book of Deceit’ is quite popular here.

However, the transformation of grotesques is highly uncertain and often involves gambling.

Some people are unwilling to take this route.”

Listening to the skeletons’ explanation and introduction, Gu Xi gained some understanding of the promotion following the Soul Summoning Skill.

’Book of the Box of Fate’ and ’Blood Feast Book’ are the legitimate routes, ’Book of the Grub’ is a side route, and ’Book of Deceit’ is a gamble route.

”I want them all.”

Gu Xi thought, since he was here, he might as well learn everything.

But hearing Gu Xi’s words, the skeletons seemed a bit troubled.

”What’s the matter? Can I only choose two at a time?”

”No, choosing them all is certainly possible, but have you met the standards in other aspects, sir?

Putting others aside, even the simplest ones, ’Book of the Box of Fate’ and ’Blood Feast Book,’ have a requirement of reaching Level 6 in Undead Enhancement.

Because even the weakest Corpse Witches have a Level 6 capability, a Level 4 Corpse Witch won’t appear.

Not to mention ’Book of the Grub’ and ’Book of Deceit,’ which have learning prerequisites, without meeting the standards, you cannot access these books even with the Forbidden Book Area privilege.”

Gu Xi, upon listening, realized there was a lot he didn’t know.

Thinking for a moment, Gu Xi wasn’t in a hurry to promote his skills.

Instead, he directly asked, ”Excuse me, is there a guidance teacher in the library? I have some questions I’d like to ask them.”

Although Gu Xi is the department head of the Mysterious Academy, he understands that everything in the guild is more aligned with his current situation.

He advanced too quickly, missing a lot of foundational steps and common knowledge, which he still doesn’t understand.

Now is the best time for remedial action.
