Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 658: Chapter 656: Blast a Batch First

Looking at the information that popped up in front of him, Gu Xi was obviously stunned for a moment.

However, he quickly reacted that now was not the time to consider this.

Gu Xi decisively pointed to the location where the enemy troops appeared in front of him.

”Activate the Flame Traps!”

Before the enemy arrived, Gu Xi had set up a large number of flame traps within a thousand meters of Yaliduvi Tower, and had also covered the flame traps with a large number of bones and corpses.

It can be said that this time the arrangement of flame traps had raised Gu Xi’s flame trap level to a level 7, greatly enhancing both its power and delay.

To ensure the enemy would be blown up from the beginning, Gu Xi even used stacking techniques.

All this was done with the help of Luna and the others.

So Luna also knew the location where the flame traps were buried the most. She used the ability of Mirror Image to move the enemy’s Teleportation Gate to this side, naturally placing it above the flame traps.

So now when the flame traps exploded, they blew the already chaotic enemy into the sky.

In a series of explosions, the soldiers who had just appeared nearby could only suffer terribly.

They all took out various methods to protect themselves, and among the explosions, that young man who stood straight was particularly eye-catching.

From afar, Gu Xi could see the man’s face had twisted.

He should be the soul of the Yaksha Jade Tree King.

This time, he came, probably intending to bring over a hundred thousand troops, with dignified momentum, to overpower Gu Xi, making Gu Xi hand over his body.

He might even have thought of asking Gu Xi to compensate for his losses, venting his anger on Gu Xi when feeling unsatisfied.

But he hadn’t expected the situation to be like this.

First, the Mana of the Teleportation Gate was insufficient, and as the soldiers were transferring, the gate suddenly malfunctioned.

The first wave of their troops was trapped here, and the subsequent advancing troops disappeared during the teleportation process.

Moreover, the place they teleported to was not the position initially planned.

It was too close to his body, so close that Gu Xi had arranged quite a few flame traps here.

Right from the start, they were hit with a massive explosion.

After the explosion, only more than eight thousand soldiers were left around him.

Under such circumstances, it’s suspicious if the Yaksha King’s face could look happy.

But no matter what, the Yaksha King could be regarded as a fierce person capable of reaching level 19, who could give up a level 19 body just to ascend to level 20.

Facing such a situation, he was still thinking of fighting desperately.

”Royal Guard, you go up!”

Next to the Yaksha King, a man in a red robe quickly stood up.

This man had a pale complexion, and his movements were somewhat awkward, but when called out, he immediately dashed towards the direction of the city wall of Yaliduvi Tower.

About three hundred more men dressed similarly followed behind him.

While moving forward, their speed was noticeably faster than other soldiers’ speed.

It looked as if they were flying close to the ground.

As this man charged out, the Yaksha King raised his right hand.

”All gather to me, how many of the Eight Captains of the Western Garden are still alive? Stand out.”

As the Yaksha King shouted, two men dressed as military generals immediately stood out.

”Your Majesty!”

”Form the army, prepare to engage, we have to cut a bloody path to have a chance of surviving and returning.”

The Yaksha King said decisively.

The Yaksha King’s voice was loud, and when speaking, he kept waving his arms, making really large gestures.

In his words, the originally chaotic soldiers also calmed down, and morale obviously increased a lot.

And the two military generals called out also quickly mounted horses, allocating different tasks, one patrolling back and forth in the chaotic battle array to reassure soldiers.

The other directly led five hundred sword and axe warriors out of the battle array, charging towards the direction of the Yaliduvi Tower.

It took less than two minutes for the Yaksha King’s troops to transition from chaos to order.

At this time, Gu Xi had just moved the Black Spear Camp to the front gate of the Yaliduvi Tower.

Gu Xi’s current thought was that the number of enemies was not many.

First take those soldiers down head-on.

As for the Yaksha King, leave it to the Corpse Mother and them to besiege.

No matter if the Yaksha King is a level 19 big shot or not, Gu Xi believes that without soldiers, he could slowly wear them down to death.

At the same time, Gu Xi also didn’t forget the message he just received.

After arranging the troops, he also turned to instruct Luna.

”Luna, go check how many Undead have appeared in Yalidu City, those soldiers died during the teleportation process, they could be considered to have died at my hands, go see how many died.

Check if they can be used, and if usable, drag them out directly.”

As Luna withdrew to check the increased number of Undead in Yalidu City, the red-clad Royal Guard had already approached the city wall of Yaliduvi Tower.

The Skeleton Shooters on the wall couldn’t hit this high-speed moving red-clad man even when shooting by themselves.

Facing the current situation, Shaya immediately dashed out from the city wall, confronting the red-clad man head-on.

The red-clad man saw Shaya rushing toward him, and a touch of disdain flashed in his eyes.

”A Thief on a spy path, trying to block me too?”

Before he finished his sentence, Death Incarnation - Death God had already appeared in front of him.

At this moment, Death Incarnation - Death God had undergone some changes, with a pair of wrist guards looking like skin already worn on the arm holding the scythe.

The wrist guards also had a lot of Yaksha patterns drawn on them.

When striking, the Death Incarnation - Death God dragged all the enemies in front of him into his controlled range with a single slash.

Then, the magic ceremony of Brave Fight arrived fashionably late.

The Slowdown Skill and Ice Storm simultaneously descended, falling precisely on the Royal Guard and his subordinates.

Facing the attack of slow and the Ice Storm, facing the joint effort of Shaya, Death Incarnation - Death God, a trace of disdain appeared on the Royal Guard’s face instead.

”Dispel!”

At his command, all the Slowdown Skills cast on him disappeared.

Yet as he prepared to charge forward again, to circle around Shaya and first kill Shaya, another Slowdown Skill was cast from Brave Fight’s direction.

Afterwards, Gu Xi also noticed the situation here, he decisively commanded: ”Brave Fight, cast another Slowdown Skill, lock this guy.”

And at this moment, Shaya was also trying to approach the Royal Guard, and after the Royal Guard was hit with the Slowdown Skill, Shaya’s speed finally matched the Royal Guard’s.

Death Incarnation - Death God quickly slashed down the troops behind the Royal Guard.

They all understood that these people in front of them were indeed a danger and they couldn’t let them approach Yaliduvi Tower.
