Triple X System

Argh! This is pointless. Kyle frowned levitating from the ground. After a few hard trails he’d gotten the hang of moving in his spirit state but when he tried to advance further it backfired on him. The next stage was trying to harden his spirit self to to be able to feel something than floating through it like a ghost.

Once you gain spiritual touch only then will you be able to inflict damage. Those were eldren’s words if he remembered correctly.

I just float through. No matter how hard it tried or focused he couldn’t seem to achieve spiritual touch. Frustration was evident in his eyes as he was on the brink of giving up.

Just calm down and feel your aura. Eldren softly said releasing his aura as a soft white energy excluded from him enveloping his body. Kyle watched as eldren’s spirit hardened the soft mist getting thicker like condensed milk.

Bam!

Punching forward eldren’s hand cut through the air making a swoosh sound exploding upon impact. He punched the air but a shockwave was disrupted instead.

Now try it again. Reluctantly Kyle decided to give it one last try after all what could possibly go wrong now? Calming himself he closed his eyes focusing on his aura. After some few seconds he could feel it a dark mist containing properties of red excluded from him.

Soon the energy enveloped Kyle’s body twitching vibrantly.

Mhm. Kyle grunted a bit struggling to control his aura. Never had he attempted to control his demon energy as it had a life of it’s own like a wild fire rampaging through the forest.

His hands were trembling as his spirit shook violently but he gritted through the pain and pushed forward. Soon the wild demon energy slowly became calm adhering to his command as it stuck to his body hardening.

I-i did it. Kyle excitedly said opening his eyes. He could see his demon energy had successfully blended to him giving his once white spirit self a mix of dark and red.

Incredible.. I didn’t believe he could pull it off but as expected from his kind. Eldren eyes widened a bit seeing Kyle successfully combine his aura to his spirit.

Good. Now try to hold onto this form as long as you can and move. Eldren instructed to which Kyle nodded to. Focusing he channeled his energy to his legs feeling some life there. After a bit he successfully raised his right leg one step forward. Doing the same he applied the same technique to his left leg successfully pushing it one step forward. After some few tries his spirit self adjusted to it as he began to move freely around the vast white space.

Impressive young one.. you’re a fast learner. It usually takes months if not years to successfully achieve free movement in this form but you made it look easy. Eldren chuckled shaking his head slightly. No wonder troy saw something in you.

Now that you’ve mastered hardening your spirit I want you to come at me with all you’ve got. And please.. don’t hold back cause I won’t. Eldren smirked stretching his hand gesturing Kyle come attack him. A sly smile then curled to Kyle’s lips as he charged towards eldren.

I promise this will hurt a lot. Sending out his fist Kyle aimed for eldren’s head but the latter simply shifted his head a bit avoiding the attack. Using his hand eldren punched Kyle’s gut sending him skidding backwards.

Damn it! I didn’t see his attacks just how fast is he? Kyle wondered gritting his teeth. He was in his spirit form but somehow eldren’s hot had managed to hurt him as it felt like his insides were on fire.

Come on is this how you plan to hurt me? Eldren yawned boredom looming on his face. Stomping his leg Kyle shot like a bullet cutting through the air reaching eldren in an instant. Sending a kick eldren stepped to the side but Kyle wasn’t done.

Grabbing eldren Kyle kneeded his chest earning a low groan from eldren. The latter then grabbed his leg tossing him in the air leaping off the ground.

Bam!

Eldren kicked Kyle’s hard sending him flying down and crashing to the ground. Come on boy is that all you’ve got am really beginning to get bored.

Eldren had expected Kyle to get up to his feet but the latter just layed on the floor. At first he’d thought Kyle was playing a trick to get him to lower his guard but that wasn’t the case.

Hub? What’s wrong with him? Eldren could see Kyle’s aura evaporating from his body like a cloud of black smoke into the air.

Shit. Eldren cursed immediately realizing what was going on. Hastingly descending he rushed over to Kyle’s location turning him over. He could feel his aura growing weaker by the second as his spirit was dissipating.

Dragging him to his body eldren placed him just in front of his exactly how he sat. Placing his hand to Kyle’s spirit head a soft white light glowed from eldren’s palm going into Kyle. His dark and white energy slowly dissolving into tiny particles which was then absorbed by his body.

Phough! Kyle coughed up couple of times as his eyes fluttered open. Looking he could see eldren his legs crossed together sitting on the floor. Besides him was also eldren floating in the air a bit?

What happened? Last thing I saw was you kicking me down and I couldn’t get back up. I-it was like my spirit was slowly fading.. Kyle frighteningly spoke checking his hands. It was just like the stories he’d heard about when one was dying. Though he hadn’t really died.. at least not officially he had experienced some of it as one’s consciousness would start to fade dissolving into nothingness.

It was weird as the pain slowly faded away replaced by the soothing calm sound of silence drowning one’s soul away.

Haha! I forgot about the limit one could maintain his spirit self. Eldren nervously chuckled scratching his spirit head.

S-so you mean I was dying? Kyle frowned seeing how close he was to permanently dying. It was a frieghtening and traumatic experience even for him and it was all thanks to eldren’s forgetfulness.

Calm down it was all part of the training. Eldren shrugged trying to avert the question but Kyle wasn’t just going to let it slide.

Are you kidding me? I would’ve died and not have known it and you call that part of the training?

Look I understand your rage but you have to be prepared to face Lynn. No matter the cost.

Well I can’t fight her if am dead now can I. Kyle frowned folding his arms together. He didn’t like the concept he almost died today as he still had a lot he wanted to achieve.

The princess life is worth more than a common peasant and his friends. You were given an opportunity so make good use of it. Eldren said in a stern voice his tone becoming more harsh.

L-life.. what the hell do you know about life. You rich bastards stay locked up in your rich mansions and eat fact foods and dress up in your shitty clothes while we peasants are left to scavange for food. Kyle spoke his tone pitching with every word.

You take what you want without caring about the consequences. While we peasants are discarded for just making a simple mistake. Kyle’s veins could be seen bulging on all over his body as his aura excluded out from him violently enveloping the area. His eyes now had a mix of red and dark.

Correct me if am wrong but you don’t know shit about life or what it means to be one of us underdogs. The strong takes what they want while the weak suffer isn’t it. A wicked smile formed on Kyle’s lips as he stared viciously at eldren.

W-why am I shaking.. eldren was dumbfounded seeing his hand trembling a bit. He could feel Kyle’s aura choking him as he struggled to keep it away from him.

The world has always been wicked. The strong takes what they want and the weak are left to die. That’s the fucking principle of life isn’t it? Well I plan to change that rule and create a better world where everyone is equal. Kyle grunted his aura enveloping the portion of the white space he stood giving it a dark and red mixture contradicting eldren’s white portion.

I swear to take everyone out who stands in my way.

Bam!

Kyle’s aura exploded like a bomb sending gusts of wind everywhere. His dark and red spirit self shooting out his body like a jet straight for eldren.

It was unexpected and eldren could barely react as Kyle’s fist connected with his face. Time seemed to have stopped for a moment as a small black bubble was created enlarging rapidly within seconds enveloping the duo.

Boom!

The bubble exploded with force as eldren’s spirit was sent flying back his body blown away from the impact.

I-i did it. Kyle panted huffing in huge amounts of as he crouched down a bit. He didn’t know what got to him but he felt he had to go with the flow for certain reasons.

[Ding! Congratulations user on successfully unlocking your spirit state]

[You have created a new skill!]

[Astral demon projection!]

Huh? D-did I accidentally create a new skill? Kyle muttered his vision blurry as he collapsed to the floor.
