Triple X System

A-am not much for words eldren but just know am with you all the way. Tapping his shoulders lightly Boris then proceeded to pick Kyle up placing him on his shoulders walking away.

Yeah.. all the way. Eldren softly muttered his silver spear dissipating into particles of light as he followed behind Boris.

Sir Boris sir eldren.. we heard noises is everything alright? A group of ten space guards approached the duo. Shrugging Boris simply ignored the guards walking through with a frown.

Everything is alright.. just some little scuffles between old friends. Eldren smiled following behind Boris. Looking at them there were different expressions on the guards faces.

Bam! A huge thud sound echoed in the room jolting the space guards on alert. A huge part of the wall on the floor couldn’t stand anymore collapsing to the floor.

What the hell happened here?

------------------------

Back in the throne room it was unusually scanty as only some few guards could be seen in the room. The crowds of people before evacuated to some other floors in the castle.

The two huge golden doors slowly retracted back as two figures made their way into the room. Witnessing them the guards placed their hands to their chest straightening their posture.

Welcome back king troy! They proudly said with respect beating their chest. A soft smile slowly escaped Troy’s lips seeing them and a stinging pain also struck his heart.

Thank you all for doing your duty even when I was away. You’ve shown your loyalty not just to me but also the kingdom so please.. let be say thank you. Troy slightly bowed catching them off guard. He’d realized his mistake after thinking a bit and it was time for a change. Ever since the death of his wife he’d caged his heart and buried every ounce of love he ever had with her. Anger and hatred filled his heart causing him to drive everyone away. Even the one’s he cared about.

...

There was a slight pause as they all stared at troy stunned. Even ona was clearly shocked clearly not believing her eyes looking at troy.

Something’s changed about him. She smiled. She’d known troy for some years now and never for once had he shown this new side of his. He was always cold and heartless with everyone but now he was like a whole brand new individual as she could even sense his aura had changed.

It’s an honour to serve your majesty get well soon! They shouted after a brief while bowing down to Troy to which he casually waved his hands gesturing them to get up.

Slowly walking over to the huge golden throne Troy’s hand grazed upon the hard exterior a bittersweet smile forming on his lips.

Don’t worry Darlene I’ll make sure nothing happens to both our girls. He smiled taking a seat on the golden throne with two gold lion statues by the side. The golden throne pulsed in power as troy sat down as if reacting to him.

Ona please update me on the kingdom’s affairs. Troy softly spoke to which ona nodded.

There has been no attacks on the castle your highness. The kingdom also haven’t suffered any attacks during the two years though some commoners wanted to lead an uprising but it was quickly taken care off by miss Elsa and lady ann. Nodding in affirmation troy was a bit relieved nothing serious had happened while he was in a coma. Since the kingdom didn’t have much guards stationed it was vulnerable to attacks from pirates and his other enemies.

Wait.. how did miss Elsa and lady Anne break through this dome to the kingdom? Troy asked confused a bit seeing the dome was still standing and he’d been informed earlier the teleporters weren’t working for some strange reason. Restricting their movements from the castle to the kingdom.

Though our teleporters might not be able to teleport our guards to the kingdom. Miss Elsa and lady Anne was successful able to breach the gap because of a certain skill possessed by miss Elsa.

Really.. haha! That’s good. Troy chuckled gently. Elsa and Anne were two strong individuals on the same par with him so he wasn’t worried about the safety of the kingdom.

Is there any other update?

Ehhm.. yes! The spectators technically can’t go anywhere though our communications isn’t limited at all. I’ve specifically requested some few selected guards to interrogate all the spectators for any connections with Lynn. Ona softly said. She noticed Troy’s expression changed a bit hearing the name Lynn and she couldn’t blame him.

Am sorry your majesty..

There’s no need to apologize ona am just a bit emotional.. is that weird?

N-not at all your majesty. It isn’t weird to show one’s emotions that’s what makes us humans afterall. Ona said to which troy responded with a light smile. After some few minutes the main two huge golden doors retracted backwards as two individuals made their way into the room proceeding to the throne.

I heard some explosions earlier hope he wasn’t too tough for you both. Troy teased with a sly smirk.

Him.. ha! Not even close. Boris shrugged puffing his chest dropping Kyle to the floor. Looking at him anger was slowly rising within him but he managed to calm himself down.

Is he still...

In a coma? No.. surprisingly he was on his feet when we met him and you know the rest. Eldren spoke to which troy softly nodded knowing what eldren meant.

Wake him.. using his legs Boris forcefully sent a kick to Kyle’s guts chucking him in the air a bit.

Phough phough! Kyle coughed up some mouthful of blood kneeling on the ground panting for air. Raising his head up his eyes met with the one whom he sought to kill.

You.. strengthening his legs Kyle shot like a bullet to Troy his fist sent forward. Reaching the latter Kyle’s fist was a few meters from Troy’s head. But just as he inched closer he was suddenly stopped as a hand caught his punch twisting both his arms back cuffing it.

Am sorry Kyle but I can’t let you get any closer to him. Ona softly whispered to his ears from behind. She then kicked his leg focing him to the to kneel before troy.

[Dark flames activation error!]

Kyle tried using his demon skills but he couldn’t that’s when he finally realized something similar to the mana cuff was strapped to his wrist.

Don’t stand in my way ona he has to pay.. Kyle frowned struggling to break free.

Am sorry but I can’t let that happen.

Bullshit.. why would you protect him after all he’s done.. to all of you! He abandoned his own daughter to die.. which sort of father would do such a thing! Kyle yelled in anger clearly irritated seeing ona still protecting troy.

He doesn’t give a shit about all of you and you know it! Stop being a fool and accept the truth before it’s too late. Listening to him she couldn’t deny there was truth in what he said but still.. she swore an oath to the kingdom and she wasn’t going to go back on it.

I understand your rage and I feel your pain. This time it was troy whom spoke. Yes I haven’t been the bests of kings and definitely not a good father. But just like you I’ve lost a lot. Troy said with every sincerity in his words.

I’ve had to make sacrifices am not not proud of just for the greater good of the kingdom. But that’s what a king does isn’t it? Anyways I don’t expect you to understand afterall your just a peasant. Troy smiled getting up he then proceeded to Kyle’s location. He could see Kyle wasn’t buying his sincere words but he didn’t expect him to all of a sudden.

Shaking his head troy then gave out an order in a stern tone. No matter what happens no none must aid me no matter what.

Why don’t I give you a chance to fulfill your wish. Troy smiled placing his thumb to the red glowing cuff. With a click sound the cuff fell with a light thud.

Your majesty what are you doing? Ona worriedly said seeing troy unlock the cuff restraining Kyle. With no more hindrance Kyle held troy by the collar shoving him to the throne. In his palm was a dark flames with properties of red.

Stay ona.. that’s a command. Troy sternly order to which ona reluctantly obliged to respecting Troy’s wish. Boris on the other had Kong wanted to react but was stopped by eldren.

Come on do it. Troy said already accepting his fate not putting up any fight. A wicked smile formed on Kyle’s lips as he was finally getting his wish. Bringing his palm closer the flame burned more fiercer just inches from Troy’s head.

What’s wrong with me? He’s right here w-why can’t I kill him. Kyle wondered hesitant for some unknown reasons. Strangely Troy’s words seemed to be replaying in his mind.

Was this really his wish? Yes he wanted to kill troy for all he’d made them suffered but was that truly his wish. To be honest troy deserved death but not this way. He’d already failed the quest assigned by the system so there was no reason to kill troy at least not now.

Lumia.. Kyle muttered catching a glimpse of what happened before he passed out. If he recalled clearly he heard lumia’s screams accompanied by a mysterious woman dragging her away.

Argh! Kyle shouted blasting the dark flames in a jetski destroying a portion of the golden throne.

You deserve to die but not now. Kyle said cancelling dark flames skill. Opening his eyes troy was a bit stunned he was still alive as he’d expected Kyle to finish him off. But luckily his plan had worked out.

Phew.. ona sighed in relief seeing the tension was now over.
