Three Towers Game

The phonograph said:

”Next, supplement Rule Two.”

”Listen carefully, the content of this rule is like this: Once a good person is killed, he will turn into a wronged ghost.”

”Hee hee, the wronged ghost will enter the house.”

”He cannot kill you for now, but he may cause some bad effects on you.”

The phonograph stopped speaking.

Instead, the man’s voice from outside... appeared inside the door.

”Ah—” Xiaoya cried out in fear.

She collapsed to the ground, and at the bar counter, there was a man with misplaced facial features, eyes, ears, mouth, and nose all dug out, rearranged in different positions, staring at the people inside the house with hollow, blood-empty sockets.

He seemed unable to move.

But his mouth made a strange sound:

”Die! Die! Die!”

As soon as this sound appeared, Wen Xishu immediately felt some hallucinations in his mind.

”Do you know, your parents actually love you very much? They’re not what you think... they never intended to burn you alive.”

”You were wrong, you have always been wrong!”

Wen Xishu heard the whisper.

He suddenly slapped his face:

”Wake up! Listen to me, this ghost will attack us mentally, don’t fall for it!”

”Now let me supplement the rules a bit, Rule One, everyone drinks red wine, the visitor outside will die, but if a good person is killed, the good person will turn into an evil ghost appearing in the bar.”

”Currently, we don’t know if the evil ghost has any other abilities, but it’s certain... the evil ghost can disrupt our judgment, can release hallucinations to us...”

Chen Ming was surprised, even in this situation, having seen a ghost, even the officer Zhang Qiang was so frightened that he shivered slightly…

In such a situation, how could Wen Xishu still analyze so calmly?

”Among you all, there is a bad person, I know that.” The man who died unjustly said in a sinister tone.

Wen Xishu immediately added:

”Let me add one more thing, besides releasing hallucinations and disrupting judgments, he also sows discord.”

”Remember, we are a team, absolutely do not trust his manipulations lightly.”

Old Zhou, Ah Fei, Xiaoya, Zhang Qiang, Li Wei… at this moment also realized the extraordinary nature of Wen Xishu.

This person is extremely rational.

Even the wronged soul, the man who died outside, was dumbfounded for a second; he merely spoke a word, and the other side immediately supplemented a rule.

Not treating himself as a ghost at all?

Wen Xishu said:

”There will be a second person coming soon... we need to be careful.”

Wen Xishu’s premonition was correct; a second person was about to arrive soon.

Everyone braced themselves.

Killing one good person would add another ghost to the house...

If there were too many ghosts, there is no guarantee everyone wouldn’t go mad.

Wen Xishu was quite thrilled.

Yes, exactly, this is more exciting than an evening in Rokkasho.

Next is to find the person with ulterior motives among this group, uncover the story behind…

After all, climbing out of Deceit Tower, Wen Xishu’s psychological quality was not on the same level as ordinary people.

Everyone huddled together, even someone as fierce as Zhang Qiang, the officer, had to huddle for warmth, after all, the dead man at the bar was too terrifying.

Everyone chose to stay close to each other, then distance themselves from the corner with the ghost.

Doing so was indeed effective, as seemingly moving a bit away reduced the effect of the wronged ghost’s resentment.

Everyone’s mind had fewer distracting thoughts, no longer involuntarily recalling the most sinister secrets deep inside.

During the waiting process, Wen Xishu said:

”Have any of you killed someone?”

He suddenly threw out this question.

Then everyone’s expressions were worth pondering.

Officer Zhang Qiang squinted his eyes.

Doctor Chen Ming was unmoved, like an observer.

Xiaoya’s fingernails unconsciously dug into her skin.

Homebody Ah Fei pretended not to hear, but the hand holding the mouse was visibly stiff.

Merchant Li Wei awkwardly chuckled and said, ”How could it be.”

Father Old Zhou clasped his hands together, clearly a priest, yet he performed a Buddhist prayer.

Wen Xishu thought, this story... is a bit complicated.

These people’s reactions almost indicated that each one had a story.

It’s not just themselves, bringing a group of NPCs to survive, to win perfectly, they have to figure out the background of the NPCs.

Zhang Qiang suddenly said:

”Actually... although this ghost is scary, it seems to only scare us, doesn’t it?”

Chen Ming looked at Zhang Qiang:

”Officer Zhang, what do you mean by that?”

Zhang Qiang said:

”Surviving is most important, although we judged wrong and killed a good person...”

”But after all, it’s the rules that forced us into this situation, this bizarre ghost festival and weird bar that made us have to choose between an outsider’s death or ours.”

”So, we’re not the bad guys, right?”

Wen Xishu was amazed, although technically correct, is this officer... being too good at finding excuses?

The first reaction is to find reasons for his actions, is this really a policeman?

Chen Ming continued to ask:

”Officer Zhang said rightly, but what are you getting at?”

Zhang Qiang snorted:

”Don’t open the door, although there’s a wronged ghost here, it can only release some resentment, make us see some insignificant hallucinations...”

”If we open the door, what if the red-clothed female ghost mentioned comes in?”

”Therefore, I still advocate not opening the door. Everyone face the knocking only by drinking red wine.”
