Three Towers Game

Chapter 1009: Chapter 307: Wen Xishu ”Becomes a Dad

Wen Xishu finally finished making his decision.

He exhaled deeply, feeling not pressured, but rather delighted.

Doing the right thing is undoubtedly difficult, but once the choice is made, everything becomes so exhilarating.

”The next level, the enemy will be very powerful. We are heading to the source of the curse, killing the target will dismantle the curse, a widespread dismantling.”

Wen Xishu did not hold back, directly speaking to everyone.

Borg exclaimed:

”So soon?”

The commander can lead everyone out of the cursed land, which is the guidance each of them sees; this journey is destined to be long.

But they didn’t expect everything to be so fast.

The commander only spent a few nights with them, and now he’s about to find the source of the curse.

Devon noticed the crucial point:

”Commander, you mean to say you will directly dismantle the curse, destroy it? Rather than lead us to escape the curse?”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Yes, I certainly could do that, just lead you to escape, but this place has many people affected by the curse.”

”This tavern, too, still has many heroes like you who can be recruited, bearing the same pain as you.”

”Escape, naturally, is useful, but I don’t want to flee. And I happen to have the clues, next, the tavern will strike and reach the depths of the curse.”

”Perhaps the people there live in dire straits.”

Wen Xishu’s words earned everyone’s reverent respect in the tavern.

But Enzo worriedly said:

”Honestly... facing the complete form, my level is already insufficient to help you, right? Commander, I believe you are someone who can bring miracles.”

”But the source of the curse, can we really handle it?”

These words also made others bow their heads.

Because others could only win by chance.

Wen Xishu said:

”In this battle, you will all join me in striking, after all, staying in the tavern might face the curse.”

Devon grew increasingly ashamed:

”Do I still, in some way, fail to help you?”

Wen Xishu said:

”No, Colonel Devon, thank you for your trust all the way, facing the curse source, I may need some assistance.”

”And this time, you will definitely help me.”

Devon couldn’t understand what was happening, but soon he began to feel a strange change occurring within him.

Colonel Devon felt a surge of power all over, while in the eyes of others, Colonel Devon glowed red.

Evolved and upgraded.

A C-level card, in this wave, directly evolved into an A+ card.

Wen Xishu had to admit, the initial card, even when developed, still has limited capabilities. Colonel Devon’s limit is A+.

While Enzo, from the beginning, was SSS.

Clearly, going down this path, the normal process should be playing the discard deck strategy.

The best method should be facing the source of the curse, directly all-in the tavern currency for advanced recruitment, keeping rare heroes recruited, discarding abandoned cards.

But this way of comparing life, just happens to acknowledge the ”balance of life and death.”

Such an approach is unlikely to trigger a hidden level.

Fortunately, Wen Xishu himself is strong enough.

”I feel like I can shield you from all storms, Commander!”

After evolving and upgrading, Colonel Devon’s body, externally, doesn’t appear to change much, but in reality, his defensive power is as strong as a fortress; he’s an excellent tank.

Wen Xishu actually understands it’s unnecessary...

The curse source’s means of killing probably isn’t physical attacks, but exploiting the curse itself.

But Wen Xishu needs someone to attract firepower.

”In this battle, I don’t have absolute confidence I can win, but all this time, I actually haven’t had much confidence. I have means to kill the curse source, but perhaps it’s only my delusion, after all, the last level I faced was someone with almost an immortal body.”

”Everyone, once entering the level, you can choose to find a safe place to hide.”

”Those who choose to fight alongside me, please be prepared to face death. I will kill the target at any cost, including using you.”

The current team’s rapport, Wen Xishu’s frankness, will only earn everyone’s trust.

Wen Xishu still doesn’t know what Desire Tower is like, but he can feel that historically, perhaps there was indeed a commander who led people in a rebellion.

At least in the memories of the fourth level boss Nero, he was once crusaded against, only to fail.

”My life already has no meaning, revenge is all the meaning, if I can shatter the curse, die like a hero... Although I don’t have the strength of Colonel Devon and Enzo, I will certainly not fear death.”

Sniper Cavendish said.

Elsa smiled: ”I’m not afraid either, Commander, thank you for giving me this opportunity.”

Borg said:

”I am already useless, but if there’s something you need me for, feel free.”

In this world, there’s no one unafraid of dying, but once there’s a reason to face death, the fear of death is overcome.

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Then we should set off.”

With the tavern currency up next, Wen Xishu equipped everyone with weapons.

Devon upgraded his shield, Cavendish upgraded his sniper rifle, Elsa upgraded her medical kit, even Enzo’s brush was upgraded, Borg upgraded his computer, and Nico even had a microphone.

Once everyone was armed, Wen Xishu did not delay further, decisively choosing a team strike.
