Three Towers Game

Wen Xishu thought it over briefly and understood.

The current Sirius found the correct timeline and could see a phase one future through it.

In the phase one future, Sirius became a slave.

But not long ago, due to my efforts in the Deceit Tower and joining forces with Horn, that phase one future changed.

However, the more distant phase two future didn’t change. Because the time walkers quickly corrected the phase one future.

But for Sirius, the change in the phase one future was an incredible miracle.

”Please continue,” Wen Xishu said.

Sirius went on:

”My ability is a very advanced Three Tower Sequence ability called Intermediate Creation.”

”I can create some real worlds connected to my mind, which truly exist yet are hard to reach. They come with various peculiar rules.”

”Including... the decaying flesh you saw in the cabin, which actually symbolizes my will starting to be corrupted.”

”Every time the Evil Sea Giant Beast invades, I create illusions at the right moment, making many people see the cabin walls transform from metal to flesh.”

”But in fact, it isn’t just an illusion; I can also make the real cabin turn into flesh. Do you understand?”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”Continue.”

Sirius continued:

”So at this moment, the decaying flesh seen by others is an illusion, but what you see is real.”

”And my current mental state is the future state after being saved by you and Horn... Simply put, the future version of me exchanged with the present version of me.”

”The time walkers have not discovered this, but they will eventually notice. We have only twelve hours... So, Wen Xishu, the help I can give you is limited to twelve hours.”

”To be precise, it’s only eleven hours now.”

This matched the countdown time on the invitation, and Wen Xishu understood.

It’s like today’s Sirius is muddled, and with my efforts, tomorrow’s Sirius has awakened.

Knowing the structure of time’s turbulence, Sirius climbed from the tomorrow timeline to today, throwing the muddled self of today into tomorrow while originally belonging to tomorrow himself returned to today.

When the time walkers check, they subconsciously think tomorrow’s Sirius hasn’t changed much, as it remains muddled.

But in reality, the Sirius of today and tomorrow, in different states, have swapped.

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but admire Sirius for his boldness.

”I understand what I must do.”

Sirius said:

”That’s great, no wonder Horn regards you as a true friend. Speaking with you is so easy. Next, I’m going to tell you about time turbulence.”

”Turbulence is essentially a maze. You’ll enter many different time nodes, some of which feature very terrifying entities.”

”For example... you might witness the battlefield of the Three Towers War. Which, at present, is too distant for you.”

”I will help you find the escape point of each turbulence.”

”You need to keep avoiding the dangerous enemies within each time turbulence, then through the escape point, find the correct timeline.”

Wen Xishu summarized:

”I need to travel from now to the future... then pass through various outlandish futures, before returning to now?”

Sirius sighed:

”Yes, exactly. Ordinary prisons have complex spatial structures, but the prison of Pisces has simple spatial structures and complex time structures.”

”No, to be precise, both are complex. Because of the complex nature of time, space is complicated too.”

”I only understood half of the turbulence’s structure, but before researching the other half, I was enslaved by the captain.”

”So there are some time turbulences I can guide you through with flesh attached to you.”

”But there are some time turbulences... I don’t know how to break them. Also—do not be obsessed with changing the future, Wen Xishu, it’s extremely dangerous.”

”Finally, as you go through layers of time turbulence, you will ultimately arrive at the present time and near the prison’s space, then after finding my real body... I will do my utmost to let the Evil Sea Giant Beast fight desperately, amidst the chaos, you will escape the Ark carrying me.”

”Remember, you are not a match for Von Neumann, Renault, or the captain at this stage. They are too powerful for the current you.”

”Don’t think about confronting them head-on.”

Wen Xishu understood.

In other words, the difficulty this time lies in time travel.

It might appear a few years later, and it might appear decades or centuries later... it’s hard to say.

But in each turbulence scenario, an escape point must be found, and continually approach the current timeline. Ultimately find Sirius and rescue him.

And all of this must be completed within twelve hours.

It’s a really tight task.

Interestingly, the starting point and the endpoint for this mission are quite close.

The endpoint is to return to the current timeline, spatially near the prison.

Wen Xishu is now in the current timeline. While not said to be too close to the prison, at least on the Ark.

So the route must be correct, or even though the start and end are close, the process might...

Actually be farther away.

”The Evil Sea Giant Beast has started to attack. At this point, the Ark’s second-ranked has begun fighting the Evil Sea Giant Beast.”

”Von Neumann may be guarding the prison, but he’s only on the outskirts; the prison itself is full of time turbulence...”

”I’m wrapped in turbulence too. So only by entering the turbulence can the way in search for my prison be found.”

”Start now, Wen Xishu. I believe you... will once again create a miracle.”

”Next, I’ll open a door for you.”

Wen Xishu originally thought that the so-called opening door meant the door to the storage room.

But no, as Sirius’s power emerged—

Wen Xishu found that the rotting flesh that made up the wall suddenly formed a hole.

The flesh contracted, causing a passage to appear in the wall leading somewhere.

Next, this rotting flesh began paving a road.

Forcefully, a road was formed for Wen Xishu towards the prison turbulence area where there was none.

”Stay quiet. Von Neumann is very strong. Even at my peak, I’m not sure I would stand against him.”

Isn’t that appraisal too high?

Wen Xishu thought, you’re a demigod, with Ding Dong, one can create various divine-grade items, the other can create divine-grade scenes.

Perhaps there are those who can even create divine-grade beings.

You all are merely slightly weaker than those twelve...

But didn’t expect that Von Neumann could rival peak Sirius?

Wen Xishu was shocked but kept quiet, utilizing the Power of Hidden Dragon to the fullest, not leaving a trace of sound.

Wen Xishu had indeed wanted to ask—

”Did you hear the conversation by the campfire with Scorpio?”

But he eventually didn’t ask.

He guessed that Sirius probably heard it.

And yet, Sirius still made a choice.

To be enslaved without freedom to serve as a tool for Pisces in sealing an area.

Or to live freely and ultimately be killed by Scorpio, but it seems—Sirius had chosen the latter.

Wen Xishu respected this choice too.

Soon, Wen Xishu stopped walking.

He saw the sight in front of him, inside the passage made of decaying flesh, it was quite dim. But ahead appeared light.

In those light shadows, many aspects of the world presented themselves.

Like countless mirages mixed together.

”We are here. Wen Xishu. Next, I will let my flesh attach to you, it will guide you to find the escape points in some scenes I’m familiar with.”

”But in scenes I’m not familiar with... the location of the escape point will need to be found by yourself, actually you have tools on you that are suitable for traversing these turbulences.”

”But remember, the turbulence is dangerous, there’s a lot of valuable information on the battlefield of the Three Towers War, don’t pay too much attention to the information because... if exposed, you might die in those timelines.”

”You might also see the futures of some old acquaintances, don’t be sad or happy for their futures, like Horn, as you have a chance to change all this. Since you can change my future, it means... within Pisces’s predictions, you are the variable, so don’t let the small affect the big. Respect others’ destinies.”

”Remember, stealth and concealment are the keys to success.”

”Once the time walkers notice us, we’re finished.”

Wen Xishu nodded, memorizing every single word from Sirius, his eyes turned resolute. He took a deep breath and then entered the turbulence area.
