Three Towers Game

Desire Tower Rest Area.

At the initial position of the rest area on the sixtieth or so level, apart from Wenren Mirror and Evelyn, no one else would be there.

But when Wen Xishu appeared at the Celestial Essence position in the Desire Tower rest area, everyone still felt... it was all reasonable.

After all, it was Wen Xishu, the new legend of the Bunker, the dean of Deceit Tower Academy.

Seeing many people from the Bunker again, Wen Xishu felt quite familiar.

You could say the Bunker was rotten. You could say the lower echelons of the Bunker had no human rights...

But the Bunker really was much better than the Ark. The decay of the Bunker began to breed only in the last decade or so.

After experiencing the Ark, Wen Xishu truly realized...

The Bunker was so wonderful.

Of course, while Wen Xishu viewed the Bunker with admiration, the beings of the Bunker did not view Wen Xishu in the same light.

Because this was the Desire Tower rest area, and in the rest area of the Desire Tower, naturally, it was populated by those capable of climbing the Desire Tower.

Apart from the few clear-minded individuals—

Most people, accustomed to comfort from the start, felt wronged once some of their original profit was taken away and believed the world was conspiring against them.

The beings of the Desire Tower, used to looking down from above, now find themselves overshadowed by those climbing the Deceit Tower and Slaughter Tower due to the recent devourings.

Many blamed Wen Xishu, believing that Wen Xishu’s presence disrupted the balance.

But the balance in their eyes was always from a superior position.

Wen Xishu sensed some hostility, but those people dared not speak up, and he said nothing more.

At this moment, Wen Xishu was indeed somewhat tired.

After experiencing life and death and finally defeating a strong enemy, he realized that his efforts merely opened up a possibility.

A variable for the future.

If he doesn’t return to the past, this variable might be snuffed out...

Fortunately, for Horn’s sake, and to not leave a fear of a certain zodiac sign in his heart, Wen Xishu decided to take the risk and venture into the dragon’s lair.

Just as Wen Xishu was about to activate the login device and enter the Desire Tower, a girl appeared in the Celestial Essence District where Wen Xishu was.

Wen Xishu remembered this girl, named Jiang Xue.

Jiang Xue said:

”Dean Wen, I didn’t expect to see you here. I just arrived a moment ago, heard people say you were here, so I came to have a look.”

Wen Xishu smiled and said:

”Is something the matter, Jiang?”

Jiang Xue said:

”Your Deceit Tower Academy... these days, it’s very popular. Many people who don’t believe in evil went to challenge the Deceit Tower Academy, and now, they’re not doing so well.”

”But the more this happens, the more people want to challenge it, so... I think, Dean Wen, you might be interested.”

Wen Xishu remembered that before leaving the Deceit Tower Academy and entering the Deceit Tower, he indeed told the ”simulated Tang Rui” to give those trying to challenge the Deceit Tower Academy a little surprise.

Wen Xishu just smiled faintly:

”It seems that in my absence, some students have indeed realized the difficulty of climbing the Deceit Tower.”

Jiang Xue nodded vigorously:

”There’s another piece of news that came out the day after you climbed the tower. It’s an inspiring piece of news.”

Jiang Xue didn’t keep them in suspense and directly said:

”The old principal reached the 97th floor, the 97th floor of the Slaughter Tower.”

Wen Xishu was shocked:

”Yesterday?”

Jiang Xue said:

”Yes, just yesterday. Oh, Dean Wen, which floor are you heading to in the Desire Tower now?”

Wen Xishu replied offhandedly:

”Just the sixties; it’s no match for the old principal.”

This statement brought Jiang Xue as much shock as the old principal breaking through the ninety-seventh floor brought to Wen Xishu.

Wen Xishu really didn’t expect the principal to break through.

But on reflection, it actually makes sense.

”The principal was stuck on the 96th floor for a long time. People thought the principal couldn’t go up.”

”But maybe the principal just didn’t think it necessary to move up. Maybe the principal could have broken through a long time ago, but was just waiting for a better opportunity.”

”Now it seems... the principal’s ideas have changed a lot.”

Wen Xishu felt the opportunity of the new era.

The hundredth floor of the Deceit Tower could potentially be broken through soon.

”Thank you for telling me this. It’s very encouraging. By the way, which floor are you heading to now?” Wen Xishu looked at Jiang Xue.

Jiang Xue shook her head:

”Don’t ask... I’m nowhere near you, but I’ll certainly work hard to catch up with you.”

Wen Xishu nodded gently:

”Good, then keep it up.”

Saying this, Wen Xishu activated the login device, and his figure disappeared.

Jiang Xue didn’t even know why she came to say these things to Wen Xishu, the dean of the Deceit Tower Academy.

Actually, this news would be known to Wen Xishu as soon as he returned to the Bunker. It’s possible that such a big figure like the old principal would personally tell him about the various details of the ninety-seventh floor in the Slaughter Tower.

After thinking for a while, Jiang Xue also activated the login device:

”Even though I don’t think much of the Desire Tower Academy’s ways... it seems I’ve become that kind of person too.”

Deep down, Jiang Xue knew who she should appease, who to curry favor with, and who would become important figures in the future.

Jiang Xue shook her head in self-mockery, and likewise, entered the world of the Desire Tower.

...

...

The Scorpion Knife vibrated intensely.

Wen Xishu opened his eyes and barely had time to sense his surroundings or see the details of the Ark’s changes within the Desire Tower...

before his attention was drawn to the intense vibration.

”What’s going on?”

In the previous round, the Scorpio Knife seemed to be completely suppressed. Wen Xishu even ignored the additional functions brought by this knife, treating it only as a weapon.
