The Versatile Master Artist

”He said he’s a special correspondent for ’Economic Commentator.’”

’Economic Commentator’ is one of the most influential economic publications in the world.

Its status in the financial market is comparable to the status of ’Oil Painting’ magazine in the art field. Even the current stock compositions are quite similar, with both having a combination of partial private family shares and financial group holdings.

If it weren’t for this rash backpacker coming from such a prestigious and influential magazine.

Eliot wouldn’t have hesitated at all; the moment the other party showed the press card, he would have kicked him out.

”Economic Commentator... is a major media outlet, alright, let him in then.”

Anna lowered her head, looking at the ’Little Prince’ in her hand, with a well-thought-out plan already in her mind.

She needed an exposure channel.

After today’s shareholder meeting.

The shareholders of ’Oil Painting’ magazine could not hope for Detective Cat to make a comeback with this fairy tale book; normally, they might try to use their influence to continue to undermine Detective Cat’s artistic level.

No worries.

Miss Ilina had already anticipated this.

It definitely won’t be a good thing, but it won’t be that bad either.

The art industry and the movie industry are somewhat alike.

Art critics and professional film critics hold significant power, with the authority to decide whether or not you receive awards. Offending the film society is virtually a lifetime sentence of being estranged from film awards.

But nothing is absolute.

The most crucial factors remain box office and genuine quality. As long as the work is strong enough, even a Soviet-themed film can make the Oscar jury begrudgingly award it.

The influence of art criticism varies depending on the occasion.

If it is an oil painting used by an ordinary painter for an international biennial exhibition or personal showcase.

Encountering collective rejection from these masters.

It would be utterly disastrous, and during the biennial selection, seeing your name might result in outright rejection, preventing you from participating is possible.

But illustration does not fear defamation or criticism, only lacking exposure.

This is one of the few benefits of being at the bottom of the art hierarchy.

Being infamously famous is still fame.

As long as your artwork is good enough and seen by enough people.

Then in the more down-to-earth illustration industry, turning critics into your fans is not an impossible task.

And in this era.

A large publication in the field of economics has a high level of societal influence.

Anna once read the magazine’s data analysis.

The readers of ’Oil Painting’ magazine are mid-to-high level art enthusiasts, collectors with high-net-worth assets, and those who read financial newspapers.

There is a high statistical overlap among them.

Art and wealth are two intertwined strands of nucleotides on a DNA double helix, entangled from the moment of their inception.

Especially since ’Economic Commentator’ is not an overly obscure academic business discussion.

It is more of a popular publication, with news topics that are quite mainstream.

It’s fair to regard this media outlet as a newspaper for upper-middle-class families.

One of its commentary articles once influenced the viewership of HBO’s hit series ’War of Succession,’ which brought it into contention for this year’s Emmy Award.

It also once led to tens of thousands more sales of the collaborative designer toy packs between Pop Mart and KAWS within a week.

At this point, even waiting at a traffic light, a special correspondent from ’Economic Commentator’ could come running up to you.

When you’re sleepy, someone hands you a pillow!

Anna envisioned the young girl picking mushrooms in the forest, smiling meaningfully when she saw a fat rabbit rushing headlong into a stump beside her.

”Consider yourself lucky, get in the car. Without explicit permission, you may not record audio, and if you’re taking photos, they must be reviewed by me first, you understand the rules, right?”

Receiving a confirmed response from Miss there.

Eliot went back to the young reporter sitting on the ground.

The female secretary unhesitatingly took the voice recorder from his hand, shut it off, and confiscated it.

The young reporter stood up, regretfully watching the recorder leaving his grip, but was not too concerned.

The ’Oil Painting’ magazine company is at the center of the art market’s whirlpool.

Not only art publications, but financial publications worldwide are also now focusing their attention on the acquisition proposal of this Austrian magazine firm.

Everyone has smelled the scent of monetary ink in the air.

Being the first to interview one of the key figures in the whirlpool.

Even if there isn’t any particularly big scoop, this news could easily sell for more than ten thousand euros just by being released.

It’s a gamble worth taking.

Taking a bold move like this once could help his career trajectory more than three years of trudging through intense conditions under the sun.

”Regarding the shareholder meeting, I will give you the news you want, but your article content and stance must also satisfy me.”

The GLS600’s backseat space, nearly 6 meters in length, was as spacious as a conference room.

Just as the young reporter got in the car.

Anna came straight to the point.

”Miss Irena, I am very grateful that you agreed to do this interview. I will document your statements from the interview factually and objectively, but you cannot interfere with the content of my article.”

The young reporter smiled sheepishly.

He knew very well how unfavorable the mainstream narrative is for the girl sitting before him.

The beautiful second-generation rich girl being cast out of the company provided both financial and gossip-worthy attributes.

In the financial field.

The most similar case he could think of was the Williams Team.
