THE SYSTEM IS NOT MINE

“Damn, what happened to these people?” One man blocked the other with his hands as the man rushed toward him, trying to bite him.

“I’ve seen this before. They’ve become berserkers,” one of the people dealing with the other two berserkers said.

“Damn things.”

A Foundation cultivator swung his sword and cut down two berserkers.

Suddenly, a blade aimed at his neck.

The Foundation cultivator looked up, only to find his own friend wearing that same familiar smile, that was the last time his eyes worked.

The group that had come searching for the green liquid descended into chaos.

”Is it because of the green liquid?” Theon said while cutting the head of one berserker.

”Can’t confirm, but most probably” Mwai Za replied.

”How can it be? Only some got affected among those on whom the green liquid fell?” Theon said.

”Probably a side effect, but some are more resistant, however there was information on the side effects spread around” the ground cultivator said as he walked towards them.

”Stay right there!” Theon pointed his sword at the ground cultivator.

”Sir Chu Feng will be furious” But right then they heard a voice from the nearby tree, their eyes moved towards the voice coming from the top of the tree.

Then Theon saw a giant axe in his vision, it was near.

He raised the wind qi barrier around his body, but the axe slowed very little almost negligibly, before piercing his neck.

”Theon”

Hwai Za shouted, right then a gust of wind came from Theon’s hand while the axe almost separated his head.

The wind did not aim at the attackers but at Hwai Za pushing her far away.

When Hwai Za pushed from her position, something descended from the tree, the ground trembled, and dust rose.

When the dust cleared, a muscled man wearing the red dress took his axe out of the Thoen’s neck.

”Mutai” The name surfaced in Hwai Za’s mind. Immediately, she turned around, and with all her strength, the wind around her intensified as she flew up and away.

”Want to escape? Not today.” Mutai raised the axe and aimed it at the Hwai Za in the air who was fleeing.

”Don’t forget about me,” But the ground cultivator jumped in front of Mutai and aimed Nira’s sword at his raised hand holding the axe.

The ground-reinforced sword collided with Mutai’s Ground Qi barrier, sending sparks flying, the sparks blocked his vision, and when his vision returned, Hwai Zha had already fled.

Mutai looked down at the opponent surrounded by Ground Qi.

“You don’t understand the Ground Letter well enough to challenge me.” Mutai commented.

”But you should not have interfered, she escaped because of you.”

Mutai immediately threw a punch to the face of the ground cultivator, the impact made his head bent backwards, before the ground cultivator could recover, another punch hit him hard on the left cheek forcing him to look rightwards.

His vision turned to the right, then downward as he dropped the sword. Then he felt a clenched fist slam into his head, sending his face into the ground.

Cough!

Cough!

The ground cultivator coughed out the soil from his mouth.

”Tell me how you would like to die?” Mutai tapped his fingers against the axe, waiting for an answer.

”You are underestimating me,” The ground cultivator said as ground qi covered his whole body.

Then he lunged at Mutai.

Mutai caught the incoming fist with his left hand without any effort, but the ground cultivator right then, lifted his knee to the chin of Mutai.

Sparks flew as the knee struck Mutai’s chin, forcing him backwards. He released the ground cultivator’s hand.

Then the ground cultivator crouched down and kicked Mutai’s leg, Mutai did not budge.

Then Mutai took two steps back and lifted his axe, swinging it upward toward the man’s head. The man bent backwards, narrowly avoiding the axe.

The ground cultivator grabbed the sword from the ground, and clashed with the axe, but his fingers of right hand which were twisted by Nira surged with pain, his grip loosened as the sword flew sideways, the axe hit his neck then his vision blackened.

”Sir Mutai” Chu Feng’s men who ran away wearing red dress approached .

”While you were dealing with these people, we attacked others but some of them ran away while throwing the berserkers on us” One of them came forward and reported.

”Let them, Sir Chu Feng will deal with them if they dare to go back to Trade Miller City.” Mutai replied.

”And you guys” Mutai looked over the people in red.

”Go back to the Trade Miller, and assist Sir Chu Feng.”

”What about you Sir Chu Feng? ” He asked.

”I will try my luck by chasing after her, you go” Mutai said. He crouched and the ground beneath them trembled as he made a giant jump towards the direction where Hwai Za left.

Meanwhile, at one of the wagons which moved towards South East, currently abandoned on a rough open terrain.

”Thank God! I caught up to this one,”

The pink-robed elder hovered over it.

”Neigh!” Hearing the sound of horses, the pink-robed elder turned around.

”Elder Han, it’s us who followed it first,” A man wearing yellow and black attire arrived, Behind him several other people with similar clothes were present.

”Gua Zen, yes, it was you, I noted, you will have extra share once we have done.”

Elder Han descended next to the wagon and inserted his hands into the spices.

For a moment his moment, his expression was neutral then turned serious, all of a sudden, the spices flew up with a gust of wind and rained down on everyone who was present.

When the spices emptied, Guard Zen noticed that there was no green bottle here, but only useless spices.

”Seems like we have got the wrong wagon,” Gua Zen commented.

”Let’s go, we may find other wagons around.” Elder Han said as he flew up and disappeared from the site.

At the same time, at another wagon which was intercepted before it could get abandoned.

The man in silver strip attire stood at the Wagon, surrounded by unmoving bodies in red clothes and other people who were taking their weapons out of the red bodies, he lifted a man wearing red by the neck, emitting core formation aura. The man in red had bruises all over his body, and he struggled to breathe.

”Is that it?, I am disappointed.”

Bua Ling said as he tossed the red man aside.

Then he inserted his hand inside the spices and took out a green liquid bottle, he inspected the bottle and glanced at the men who were watching from the sides and ordered, ”Get these bottles out.”

The men obeyed, and got onto the wagon, and took all the bottles one by one.

”Only ten?”

Bua Ling’s eyebrow furrowed, he grabbed the red attire man that he threw away and asked, ”Where are others?”

”Where do you think they are? ” The man smiled then grabbed the sword from the waist of the Bua Ling and stabbed his own throat.

”Bullshit!” Bua Ling lifted his sword and cut off his entire head.

”Let’s go, other wagons might have them.” Bua Ling Shouted.

At the same time, In Trade Miller City.

Multiple men wearing black clothes jumped into the courtyard of Chu Feng by climbing the walls from all sides.

”Enemy ! Enemy!”

The gatekeeper shouted.

Few men came out from the door of the mansion to courtyard.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

Inside the courtyard, Jo Chua, Fan Yu’s man.

”Why only it happening now? All of Chu Feng’s men left and left us to defend their home” Jo Chua cursed as he looked at downstairs where the men of Fan Yu were moving to face the black men.

I won’t let us have big losses.

Jo Chua thought.

Then he emitted the late stage core formation aura as he slowly walked out.
