THE SYSTEM IS NOT MINE

The battlefield roared once again as the cultivator unit moved along the uneven ground.

The thirty cultivators that were led by Mu Tai fought across the front lines alongside with other cultivators, and blades continuously collided while qi erupted from one place after another as both sides tested each other’s strength.

Most of the fights remained even.

Then a man suddenly rushed through the battlefield.

Late Spiritual Qi Foundation Realm.

The enemy commander.

His sword burned with fire qi as he moved directly through the front.

One strike killed an early foundation cultivator, and another cultivator who tried to block him had his blade melted and head cut off with a burn.

Blood sprayed across the flattened grass.

Panic immediately spread among the weaker cultivators.

”Commander!”

Several people looked around, but Mu Tai was still fighting elsewhere.

The enemy commander advanced again and his eyes fell on Yan.

The burning sword descended.

Yan raised his blade.

Smoke rose as Yan’s blade began to heat up.

Yan pulled his blade back feigning being pushed backwards until he landed on one knee, while dust rose beneath him.

From the outside, it looked as though he had been completely overwhelmed.

The enemy commander raised his sword again and fire qi wrapped around the blade.

The blade surrounded by spikes of fire descended.

Yan lifted his sword to block but right at that moment, a tiny pebble beneath the commander’s foot rolled half a finger’s width and changed the angle of his body slightly.

The fire blade missed collision with Yan’s blade with a slight deviation and fire brushed just a little far the neck and cut into the air beside him.

The enemy commander frowned and lifted his sword again.

Right at the moment, a powerful gust swept through the battlefield.

”Your opponent is me.”

Mu Tai had arrived and erupted with the pressure of the late Spiritual Qi Foundation Realm.

Wind qi gathered around his arms and engulfed the sword as he immediately clashed with the enemy commander.

Fire and wind erupted where their blades met.

The enemy commander attacked aggressively and every strike carried burning qi , while the allied commander continuously redirected the attacks with swift movements of wind qi.

Clang.

Clang.

Steel rang as fire and wind collided.

Yan remained where he had fallen and quietly observed.

The fire around the enemy commander’s sword increased and it pressed harder with every exchange.

Mu Tai began losing ground and retreated one step, then another.

Clang.

Mu Tai’s blade was pushed back.

Then the enemy commander suddenly lunged forward, his sword came straight at the stomach of Mu Tai.

Wind erupted on his right leg, Mu Tai slipped and fell on the ground and avoided the fire sword.

Then Fire concentrated around his blade and descended at Mu Tai.

His foot landed upon the battlefield, suddenly, again a pebble under his foot moved.

His balance faltered for half a breath andIt was enough.

The allied commander’s blade pierced his side.

Blood burst from the wound.

The enemy commander staggered backwards and looked at the blood on his side stomach.

Then his expression changed.

”Retreat!”

His voice spread across the battlefield.

The Shin cultivators immediately began withdrawing, but the retreat quickly turned chaotic as several people lost their footing as Yan moved from one place to other in Chaos.

One man slipped and another stumbled while trying to recover his balance.

The Noir cultivators seized the opportunity.

Blades flashed.

More bodies fell.

Within moments, the Shin cultivators had already fled beyond reach.

Chen Yu who was chasing Shin slightly glanced towards another part of the battlefield where the Han Defu Unit is stationed.

Guda was surrounded by three people and he pointed his blade towards them.

Behind him an injured old man laid.

”Fatty, go, run”

The old man said.

” I will not...”

One enemy moved, his blade aimed at Guda’s throat.

Clang

Guda deflected it upwards and grabbed the guy in his arm, and simultaneously his blade crossed with the blade of the second person who came to his left.

”Release me” The man in his arm struggled, but Guda kept the grip.

The third person came forward, but before he arrived, Guda lunged at him while holding the first person in his arms.

The third one stook one step back, but Guda crashed into him.

Then three of them fell to the ground.

Guda immediately picked the fallen blade, and dodg ed sword of the second person who already aimed it at him from top.

Then lunged his sword through the second person’s throat.

Blood sprayed..The second person fell.

By the time Guda stood up , The other two already stood up and launched themselves at Guda.

The blades of enemies pierced through his belly fat, but Guda did not fall.

His blade cut the head of one immediately.

Seeing his comrade fall, the other person left his blade, and ran away, Guda tried to chase him, he walked a few steps forward but fell down.

Meanwhile other enemies approached and surrounded him reminding that it was a battlefield.

Guda took a deep breath..

He looked at them and closed his eyes.
