THE SYSTEM IS NOT MINE

The pink-robed man was strolling through the streets of Trade Miller City along with some other people.

”Elder,”

When a disciple suddenly came running towards them and panted heavily.

”What is it?” The pink-robed elder raised his brows.

”It’s Chu Feng,” The disciple said.

Then the pink-robed man instantly grabbed the disciple and flew up in the air. After moving a few miles away from the city, he asked, ”What happened?”

”Today, six wagons departed from the mansion carrying the spices, and most of his forces guarded them.”

”They moved in the south of the city for a while, then they split up in different directions.”

”More importantly, when they moved towards the south, we observed some traces of the green liquid they left behind.”

The pink-robed man went into deep thought and asked, “Is anyone following those wagons?”

“No,” the disciple replied.

“What the heck? The other factions might already be following them!”

“Damn Chu Feng!”

“It might be a trap, or there could actually be real supplies there,” he clenched his fists.

”Anything else?” The pink-robed man asked.

”All of them wore red clothes,” The disciple said.

“Red? Either way, we can’t afford to ignore it.” The elder grabbed the disciple and flew back toward the city.

At the same time, in the City Lord’s Mansion.

”Commander!”

”Not sure what’s happening, but most of Chu Feng’s forces left the mansion, including Mutai.”

A man reported to the person sitting beside the city lord of the Trade Miller City.

”Brother Shua, it seems Chu Feng is acting up in your city again.”

”Haha, Brother Zia, you are here, it will be over soon,” Shua said.

”Yes, finally, time to get rid of him.” Zia stood up from the chair and looked at the man, ”Tell Cha Choo that Chu Feng sent his strongest fighter, Mutai away.”

”And we will go right away and take his head.”

”Yes, commander!”

The man bowed and left.

Zia looked at the city lord Shua and said, ”Brother, I will be going as well.”

”Go, and be back with his head,” Shua said.

Then Zia left as well.

At the moment, the most heavily guarded wagon where Mutai was present was moving towards the south, currently it was passing through a wild forest.

Behind the wagon from a certain distance, three figures followed it from the air, and some three miles away people were following on horseback.

Right then, the Wagon halted.

Then everyone who guarded the wagon along with the horses ran in different directions, abandoning the wagon, including Mutai.

”What the hell? Are they running away? ” One of the men who was flying behind said.

”Theon, it seems like it,” The woman next to him commented.

”Let me take a look over the wagon, you guys go and chase them.” Another white-haired woman who was flying beside them spoke.

”Lady Nira, chase them? Does your Spring Autumn Sect take us for fools? Your Spring Autumn Sect wanted to take all the benefits while we chase after them?” Theon spoke.

“Either we inspect it together, or we don’t inspect it at all,” The other woman added.

”Suit yourself.”

Then Nira descended to the ground first, followed by the other two.

”Looks like it’s full of spices,” the man commented.

But immediately, he noticed Nira clenching her fist as wind qi gathering on her fingers.

“What are you doing? You could damage the bottles!”

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

Theon stepped forward and pushed Nira’s hand toward the woods on the left.

A powerful gust of wind shot from Nira’s fingers and hit the trees making leaves fall down.

”Don’t go near the wagon.” Nira said.

”Why not? ” Right then, the people who were following on foot and on horses arrived from behind, the one on the horses dismounted.

Nira turned around towards the newcomers and shouted, ”No! No one touches the wagon.”

”Nira, ” Theon shouted.

”Enough of your bullshit. Just because you are a little stronger than us, do you think you can command us.”

Theon surrounded himself with the Wind Qi as he shot towards the wagon.

Nira reacted, and followed him and immediately caught his leg but Theon already gripped his hands at the edges of the wagon.

But the wood of the wagon tore as Nira flew up, pulling the Theon backwards.

”Listen to me! These spices leave a smell on you for two days.”

But right at that moment, Theon sent a small and weak gust of wind towards the spices. Some spices rose into the air, but people’s eyes weren’t on the spices; beneath the exposed part, bottles of green liquid lay inside.

”They belong to my sect”

”Damn! Mine.”

Everyone around rushed towards the wagon.

Wind qi erupted around Nira as she pulled the man further up and threw him away, her white hair fluttering in the air.

Then, without hesitation, she lunged toward the wagon.

With her wind qi, she arrived before anyone did, then the wind concentrated at her as a centre and suddenly exploded forward pushing everyone around backwards.

”Neigh!” The horses ran away.

”You people of the Spring Autumn Sect are too much, ” one man among those who were pushed back cursed.

He lifted his sword as he emitted the core formation aura, his sword became heavy with ground qi.

Then he jumped at Nira.

Theon also joined, and charged Nira.

The other wind qi woman also charged at her.

Theon threw a wind fist at her, Nira tilted her head and dodged.

”Theon, you have become a bit stronger” Nira said.

”Do you think I would be the same after my last defeat,” Theon said. At the same time, the woman targeted Nira’s stomach with a Wind Qi-reinforced kick. Her kick broke through Nira’s Wind Qi barrier and struck her directly.

Nira clenched her fists as she bent forward.

”Hwai Za!”

Before Nira could recover, the Ground Qi cultivator descended from above, his sword aimed directly at her head.

The sword struck the Wind Qi barrier just above Nira’s head. Nira erupted with Wind Qi over her head, forcing the sword back.

But the man reacted and immediately brought the sword down again.

Nira moved to the left, but the sword still grazed her right shoulder, cutting through the white skin. A thin line of blood appeared from below her neck and extended toward her shoulder.

Theon arrived next to Nira again, Nira ignoring the wound, threw a punch at Theon with her left hand and flew up.

Theon dodged and followed her, and flew up as well, Hwai Za followed her up as well.

The three figures in the air exchanged the moves.

Clang!

Theon’s sword surrounded by wind clashed with Nira’s wind blade, Nira pushed him away, but immediately, Hwai Za’s wind sword greeted Nira.

Clang!

Nira was pushed a bit downwards.

Theon arrived next to Nira again, their blades clashed, Theon’s blade was pushed back, Nira aimed her blade at his chest.

Suddenly, A wind cutter in a crescent shape descended from above and pushed her sword down.

Nira looked above Hwai Za floated with her sword.

Other people watched the fight from a few metres away, they knew they were not strong enough to participate between the fight between core formation cultivators.

Among them two guys were beside each other.

”Do you see that wind-wielding guy and wind-wielding woman?” One of them said.

”Which woman?”

”The white-haired one? The one that pushed us away?” The other person asked.

”No, the one who is fighting with the white woman” The one replied.

”What about them?” The other person asked.

”Both of them are from Iron Hood Sect, and that white haired lady is from Spring Autumn Sect, and apparently there is already an existing grudge between these two factions” the one replied.

”What kind of grudge?” The other person said.

”Rumours said that it’s because of Goats.”

”Goats? Are you serious?”

”Yes.”

BOOM!

The surge of air halted their conversation and made them look over.

Nira was hovering in the air, but Theon and Hwai Za were flying above her.

And the ground cultivator was on the ground, looking up.

Theon and Hwai Za raised their swords, wind gathered on the blades, then both of them together at the same time slashed their swords downwards.

The wind cutters left their blades, they combined and a giant cutter descended at Nira.

Nira raised her sword, wind gathered on it as she met the giant cutter with her wind-reinforced sword.

The ground cultivator reacted and jumped behind the wagon and reinforced it with ground qi.

BOOM!

The wind burst out in all directions, raising the dust, leaves and tiny wooden pieces.

When the wind returned to normal.

Nira was in between Theon and Hwai Za and was heavily wounded, her upper body was covered with blood.

”Ha..ha..ha..”

”How foolish of me for trying to save you ?”.

She laughed.

”Save us in your next life then,” The ground cultivator suddenly descended from the above behind her back.

And before she could turn, a sword came out of her chest.

She vomited out a mouthful of blood, then Nira dropped her sword and clenched her fist. Wind Qi began rotating around her hand as she grabbed the blade embedded in her chest.

The Wind Qi travelled through the sword and reached the cultivator’s hand.

His fingers suddenly twisted violently around the hilt.

“Argh!”

The pain forced him to release the sword.

Then the wind erupted around her, as she pulled the sword out of her chest from behind, wind qi covered the entire sword pushing the blood aside. She staggered but still threw the sword at the Wagon.

Theon and Hwai Za reacted instantly, they sent the wind cutters at the sword.

But when the wind cutters clashed with the sword, they dissipated.

The sword continued towards its target and the wagon.

The next moment, the Wagon shot up in the sky. It rolled over, for a moment, it seemed as if the time stopped, then the wind surrounding the sword suddenly burst outward, blasting the wagon apart.

Green liquid, spices, and broken glass exploded into the air, spreading in every direction.

The people who had been fighting moments ago, and the people who were watching, were completely covered in it.

For a moment, everything went silent.

Nira finally fell to the ground, her breathing weakening as blood flowed out from the wounds.

Then some of the people, especially mortals and the cultivators at lower realms formed those familiar smiles.
