The Martial Unity

Chapter 3743: An Opened Path to Supremacy

”With the Emperor of Harmony gone, we have a new opportunity at our disposal.” Vice Lord Mariel mused with excitement, lit up in her blood-red eyes.

She maintained an active domain with her Realms of power within her personal luxury quarters assigned to them in the Kandrian Empire to maintain secrecy, seated on her couch with several Martial Sages of the Blood Cult around her.

Not a single one of them looked particularly sad that their blood lord was dead. It was certainly a grave blow to the Blood Cult, but their cause came first. The ultimate cause of the Blood Cult exceeded the importance of every other interest.

”To spread the supremacy of blood in this continent and all others.” A chilling smile emerged on the face of Vice Lord Mariel. ”The death of the Emperor of Harmony will cripple Panamic Civilization, but it has gotten rid of the greatest impediment to hemosapien supremacy.”

The Blood Cult had not been pleased that the Kandrian Empire had gained such control and influence over the implementation of the hemosapien integration plan. Originally, when Rui proposed the arrangement of a shared control over the ovules of the Blood Goddess, it was supposed to be a fifty-fifty control split.

Yet, the Emperor of Harmony had largely seized full control over the implementation of the hemosapien integration plan. He had managed to gain complete control over the logistics with the indomitable influence and power of the Kandrian Empire, along with aid from the Beggar’s Sect. Even when the Blood Lord tried intervening, he was largely unable to ensure his will got through.

Even after he had become a Transcendent Candidate, the power and stronghold of the Emperor of Harmony were always too great for Blood Lord Vrukshus to break through, even in times of war where the Emperor of Harmony had been consumed with diplomacy.

”That meddlesome inferior mere human dared to deny hemosapien children their destiny to rule over their inferior ancestors.” Vice Lord Mariel’s eyes flared with anger. ”He is everything that is wrong with this continent and our civilization. Hemonity, blood humanity, is the future, not their inferior ancestors! How dare he try to force upon them the ideals of equality?! We are not equal!”

The Emperor of Harmony, along with relevant specialists among the immortal sages, had created an upbringing program that was meant to indoctrinate blood children into believing that they were equal to homo martialus despite being vastly superior physically and even mentally to an extent. Blood children learned to speak, read, and write, and generally were several grades ahead of their homo martialus cousins in education and training.

The Emperor of Harmony had especially crushed any and all attempts to indoctrinate blood children with ’blood supremacy’ or other ideologies that would impede the assimilation of hemonity with humanity, directly undermining the goal of blood supremacy that the Blood Cult harbored.

The Blood Cult had only managed to indoctrinate the blood children within their own cult of their ideology; all hemosapien children outside the blood cult had been faced with their own

”With him gone, the Kandrian Empire will become drowned in their new throne war, and that will give us the opportunity to seize control of the upbringing of blood children around the world.” Vice Lord Mariel grinned. ”In fact, now that we are present inside the Kandrian Empire and can prolong our stay for a while, we can even buy the support of a prince or princess and have them fully support our cause of blood supremacy. In fact, I’ve received some intelligence that one of the many offspring the Emperor of Harmony has sired is, in fact, a blood child. That child is a royal kandrian prince, and the authority to ascend the throne.”

The other Martial Sages widened their eyes with shock at those words.

”There is a blood child who bears Kandrian royal blood through their veins?!”

”Incredible!”

”It’s a great opportunity for us to hijack the throne with hemosapien ideology!”

Vice Lord Mariel nodded with a vicious grin. ”Emperor Rael likely intended to have her assimilate into human civilization entirely and become one of them, only to then reveal her identity as a princess and have her ascend the throne in the future as a powerful symbol of human-hemosapien integration and harmony. A truly vile and evil strategy, but alas...”

Her smile widened. ”His death has given us the opportunity to seize control over this trump card and eventually control the most powerful empire on this continent!”

The other Martial Sages grew excited at those words. ”Where is this blood princess?!”

”We must find her and kidnap her immediately!”

”We must show her the truth that she is superior to all those lesser beings they are brainwashing her to accept as equals!”

”Calm down.” Vice Lord Mariel’s hand rose as her eyes sharpened. ”It is not that simple. Her name is Arastia Quarrier, and she resides in the same orphanage that raised the Dawnbringer. Our intelligence tells us that she regards him as an uncle and has a familial relationship with him.”

Each and every single Martial Sage in the room froze.

The air in the room grew electric with peril.

Their faces grew pale as blood drained to their feet, ironically.

”It’s a shame, but...” one Martial Sage gulped. ”I think we should forget about trying to put our hands on her.”

”It’s not worth the risk. His Highness has been extremely good for our cause, protecting all blood children with just his word alone. It would be bad if we earned his ire and he decided to destroy our cult.”

”His Highness is rarely that heavy-handed, but... It’s best not to push it. He is known to be attached to his kin even if they aren’t blood-related and especially protective of children.”

”...Still, it’s too great an opportunity for me to ignore,” Vice Lord Mariel remarked with sharpened eyes. ”That girl... could make or break our cause. If I have to sacrifice my life to acquire her, then... so be it. That is the value that she holds.”
