Chapter 1248: Katrina and Autumn(End)

Autumnʼs heart almost skipped a beat when she saw the details on the card. The upper half of the card contained the beastʼs illustration.

The Golden Glaucas was a magnificent creature, standing tall at a height of several hundred feet and with a muscular build. Its body was adorned with golden scales that reflected the light, giving it a radiant appearance. It had a sleek and streamlined form, perfectly designed for swift and agile maneuvers through the air. Its eagle-like wings were expansive and covered in iridescent feathers that shone in a golden hue.

Its head was adorned with a crown of golden horns that curled gracefully upward. Its piercing blue eyes could extend and see all around without even moving its head. There were intricate patterns engraved along its body, signifying its control over the elements of water, fire, etc. Sparks of lightning danced along its tail, further adding to its beauty.

When Autumnʼs eyes finally reached the price section, she almost stumbled.

Katrina couldnʼt help but become curious after seeing such a strong reaction from Autumn. She then walked forward and tried to look at the card in Autumnʼs hands.

The store restricted others from seeing the card details of other users, so Katrina only saw a blur.

Autumn also came around and noticed Katrina, so she turned around and handed her the card, with the shock still visible on her face.

Katrina took the card, and the next moment, her jaw almost dropped to the ground.

The reason for Katrinaʼs shock was her familiarity with the creature. When she was on the Conspiracy Continent, she was on the council, and with her, there were six others.

One of the council members looked exactly like the beast on the card, but there was a difference in skin color. The one she saw on the Continent was black and blue while the one on the card was entirely golden.

Time flew by, and seconds passed in a flash.

Autumn didnʼt want to purchase the beast despite wanting it due to its immensely high cost.

It was half the sum Katrina had gotten from Grant. Katrina also noticed her strong refusal, but she calmed her down and made her accept the money.

After strong persuasion from Katrina, Autumn also accepted Katrinaʼs help. At the same time, she had also vowed to prepay ten times the amount to Katrina.

The duo then walked toward the square device, with Katrina taking the lead.

There was already a line in front of the device, so Katrina had to wait. The wait didnʼt last long, and she finally had her turn.

She put the card in the card compartment and put her hands on the respective section. The next moment, Katrina found herself in unfamiliar surroundings.

The battle went on for hours, but no time passed in the store. After becoming the victor, Katrinaʼs consciousness returned to the store.

The battle wasnʼt easy at all, and it took everything from Katrina to win it.

Katrina then left the queue for the device since Aakesh would receive the payment as it was an ultimate quality beast. She stood on one side since it was Autumnʼs turn next.

As Autumn stood in front of the device, her face was tense. Even if she failed the taming battle, she would still have to pay five thousand ultimate Sacred stones, which was still a thousand times bigger than her net worth.

Autumn took a deep breath since these thoughts werenʼt good for what was ahead of her. She then repeated the process of initiating the taming battle, and the next moment, she found herself in a different environment.

The Golden Glaucas was a combat beast with several attacking skills, and so the battle between her and the beast wasnʼt easy.

Autumn belonged to the Epochal Feline race, and she had skills engraved in her bloodline. As her level grew, her number of skills and their strength would grow as well. Her level hadnʼt improved over the past few years, but her skill arsenal had increased due to Lilyʼs help inside Panagea.

Autumn was the one with the weakest talent between her and Katrina since her bloodline wasnʼt as pure as those strong Epochal Felines who were now dead.

The battle was tough and bloody, to say the least, and after a lot of struggle, Autumn finally won over her opponent, winning the taming battle. At that moment, there was nothing but joy of victory in her head.

The next moment, she returned to the store, and when she looked toward Katrina, there was a wide smile plastered across her face.

Katrina smiled back since she understood why Autumn was smiling so brightly. The duo then left the room and approached Aakesh since they needed to complete the purchase with Aakesh.

”You have earned me good money,” Aakesh commented after the payment was complete.

The total price paid by Katrina was more than nine hundred fifty thousand and since he gained a 5% commission over every sale, he earned around 9500 ultimate Sacred stones from the sale.

Katrina scoffed upon listening to Aakesh and sat down on her chair. She then asked about the Three-Eyed Spirit since she knew nothing about the beast, and Aakesh was the most knowledgeable person Katrina had ever met.

Aakesh nodded and introduced the two beasts to their owners. The second Beast Summoner Device had three beasts from the Primordial Dimension; the Three-Eyed Spirit and the Golden Glaucas were two of them.

The Golden Glaucus was simply a destructive beast, knowing nothing but destruction. The Three-Eyed Spirit, on the other hand, was one of the most intelligent beasts with a myriad of skills.

Despite that, the Golden Glaucus was expensive, and that had to do with its strength. It was a brawn-over-brain beast, but its strength was such that it didnʼt need brains to fight. It defeated its opponents with its overwhelming power.

Also, there was a type of Glaucus that only Golden Glaucus could evolve into, and that group was a strong power in the Primordial Dimension, unlike the Three-Eyed Spirit, and Golden Glaucas.

The Thorr and nearby city dwellers said goodbye to the sun as night descended. With it, the store also closed its doors, bringing an end to another fruitful day for the store.

A/N: The two beastʼs histories will be explained properly in the future, as they will play an important role.
