Chapter 1242: Clarkson!

The manʼs name was Clarkson, and he came from a top family in Surjan. His seventh-generation ancestor was the army chief, while his grandfather was second in command. What made Clarkson even more imminent was that he was the most liked descendant by his grandfather and ancestor.

Clarksonʼs cultivation was only Supreme God, or he would have already gotten an officer position since his ancestor had the power of directly appointing him to any officer post below third rank.

Coming from a race like Surjan and then being in one of the top families of the race had made Clarkson arrogant, and that was visible in his eyes when he found Aakeshʼs cultivation only to be Divine Being.

”Tell me about the store products,” Clarkson asked. He had come to the store by a stroke of luck.

The universe in which the store was controlled by Voidborns, and the son of the current ruler of the Voidborns was Clarksonʼs good friend.

While traveling with his friend, Clarkson learned about the store from his Sacred Emperor protector.

The universe was too small for Sacred Emperor cultivators to sense energies, and once the protector sensed invincible energy, he informed Clarkson about it.

When Clarkson asked his friend about the energy, he found out about the store.

Since the friend was busy, Clarkson alone came to the store with his protector, hiding in the dark.

When Clarkson was inside the store, the protector had no choice but to appear in the open since once Clarkson stepped inside, he became invisible to the man. The man thought of pushing through the sense-blocking array, but that terrifying energy stopped him from committing such an act.

Since the protector was bound to Clarkson by his life, he didnʼt dare to stay outside for long and followed inside as well.

The next moment, the view in front of the man changed as the sense-blocking array stopped working on him. The man was Grant, and he couldnʼt help but grow surprised by the luxury inside the store.

Clarkson was too arrogant to notice his surroundings and see the abundance of Eternal stones used in flooring, but Grant focused on the surroundings first.

His eyes then fell on the blue-skinned man sitting on the chair, but that wasnʼt what attracted his attention. His eyes and mouth flew wide open as he saw the female sitting next to Aakesh.

An urge to kneel appeared in his heart as his bloodline trembled. The difference between his and her cultivation was wider than the difference between the sky and the earth, so the urge was only fleeting and wasnʼt that intense. It was still enough to shock Grant.

Katrina, who was relaxing, also woke up once she felt a stare directed at her. She looked in the direction of the stare and found a man looking at her with his eyes and mouth wide open.

When Grant noticed Katrinaʼs stare, he calmed down and walked in her direction. Grant had no idea what the reason behind the sudden tremble in his bloodline was.

Since Katrina was disguising herself as a powerful, beautiful female, not in her actual appearance, Grant had no idea that she belonged to a race descending from Asuras.

Aakesh ignored the second Surjan in the store and introduced all six store products to the new customer.

Clarkson also noticed Grant, and he also ignored it. After the introduction, Clarkson was astounded by the productʼs specifics, particularly the Beast Summoner Device and the training area.

He never lacked Cultivation arts and skills in his family, so there was not much interest in those products. Surjans had their own smiths, so the race had top weapons, and the same was the case for the pills.

Panagea didnʼt interest Clarkson as much as other products. He didnʼt like to start over weak in a new world, so that product wasnʼt for him. Since only two products were left after his consideration, it wasnʼt that difficult to choose which product to choose first.

Surjans loved battles, and Clarkson was no different, so he asked about the training area. When Aakehs started answering his questions, his eyes began to shine with excitement.

The more he learned about the training area, the greater his excitement became to enter.

”I want to enter the Primordial level training area,” Clarkson couldnʼt help but ask in a hurry since he wanted to experience that level of battle as soon as possible.

”It will be one supreme Sacred stone,” Aakesh responded since Clarkson met the cultivation criteria.

After the payment was complete, Aakesh told Clarkson how to enter the training area. He then pointed at the weapons room.

Clarkson nodded in response and turned around to leave when he was stunned by the scene in front of him. Grant, who was known for his anti-social behavior, was trying to talk to the girl sitting next to the store owner.

In all the excitement of the products and then the training area, Clarkson didnʼt even notice Grantʼs actions.

Clarkson took a curious look at the woman, and then the same effect of bloodline trembling appeared for him. But it was clearly intenser for him since he was lower in cultivation than the woman.

Clarkson wanted to know what caused the situation, but there was something more important to him than that. It was the training area. Clarkson walked toward the weapons room, giving a side eye to Grant and gesturing to him to investigate the reason.

Grant could only helplessly smile as the woman refused to talk to him. Instead, she was enjoying his attempts to repeatedly request her identity, even though he was clearly stronger than the woman.

After entering the infinite space inside the training area, Clarkson selected Akonos, the second strongest race in the Sacred Dimension.

The thought of looking for Asura as an opponent or asking Aakesh about it never appeared in Clarksonʼs head since it was blasphemy against their creator, and every Surjan was a fanatic follower of the Asuras.

Clarkson chose a random environment for his battle, and not long after, he found himself back in the selection area as he couldnʼt even see the opponentʼs attack.
