The First Store System

Chapter 1098: Meeting!

As the sound of footsteps from outside the store rang in Aakeshʼs ears, he opened his eyes and turned around. The next moment, familiar faces greeted his sight, as the people outside the store were Katrina, Autumn, and Maria.

***

Katrina had a broad smile plastered over her face as she stepped forward and entered the store.

Katrina already had an alluring beauty, so she looked even more gorgeous when she smiled. Unfortunately, these things did not affect Aakesh, but Aakesh still smiled.

His relationship with Katrina and Autumn wasnʼt just a business deal. In some senses, it was that of a trainer and apprentice. After all, Aakesh had trained for centuries with these two on the Conspiracy Continent.

Autumn and Maria followed her inside the store. Maria couldnʼt help but frown when she saw Katrina acting so friendly with Aakesh, and when her eyes fell on the familiar blue-skinned man, whom she revered like a God in her heart, her eyes turned moist.

The gap between her ascending and finding the store wasnʼt long, but the struggle she had to persist in on her way to the store was a real challenge.

Maria believed that as long as she could see Aakesh every day, her fortunes were bright. She still controlled herself and didnʼt approach Aakesh like Katrina.

Autumn, on the other hand, tried to look for Lily. When she didnʼt find her anywhere in the store, she couldnʼt help but grow disappointed. But since she was also one of the trainers of Aakesh on the Conspiracy Continent, she also approached Aakesh.

***

”You are still as weak as last time,” Katrina complained as she grabbed Aakeshʼs hands.

Aakeshʼs lips twitched, but he didnʼt refuse, as Katrina was one of the people who could make such a comment to him.

”Letʼs battle!” Katrina added as she wanted to see how much progress Aakesh had made during these past thousand years.

From Maria, the duo learned about the store, and when Aakesh ascended, Katrina was excited to see his growth. Aakesh was the most terrifying talent she had ever seen in her life.

”After the store closes,” Aakesh didnʼt refuse since Katrina was a good opponent to battle with. He also wanted to see how he fared against Katrina.

”Is ancestor in Panagea?” Autumn suddenly chimed in and asked.

”Yes,” Aakesh replied.

***

”Hello, senior! Itʼs wonderful to see you again.” Maria greeted Aakesh after Katrina and Autumn finally left Aakesh.

”Yes, welcome to the store in the Sacred Dimension,” Aakesh responded, making Maria the first customer to be welcomed by him.

The store treated every customer as equal, giving them no advantage over others, but Aakesh could treat them differently. Maria was the first customer of the store in the second phase, so she had a different status in his heart.

Mariaʼs cheeks reddened when she heard Aakesh. She then bowed and then thanked Aakesh for the indirect rescue due to the card.

Katrina couldnʼt help standing silently at the back, so she re-approached Aakesh. Then, she heard Maria narrating her rescue since Aakesh didnʼt block her.

In response, Katrina also shared how she met Maria on the road. When Aakesh heard the story, he couldnʼt help but look at Maria sympathetically.

Aakesh couldnʼt help but think about just what Maria had done to have such terrible luck that she had come across so many sexual predators trying to harm her. She wasnʼt that beautiful at all. Even though Aakesh didnʼt care about the beauty standards, Maria wouldnʼt even qualify to be on the list if he did.

(A/N: Donʼt think about me.)

Maria couldnʼt help but look down at the ground after seeing Aakeshʼs sympathetic expression. But at the same time, she felt great that Aakesh didnʼt treat her as indifferently as others did.

”I also want a chair,” Katrina got bored standing, so she complained.

Aakesh humorously smiled as Katrina was the same as ever. She was stronger than many, but her personality was playful.

Aakesh didnʼt complain about it. If she were a serious character, he would have been in serious trouble during his journey on the Conspiracy Continent.

Aakesh didnʼt refuse Katrina and requested the system for the chair. The next moment, light particles began to gather, and soon they formed two chairs not far from Aakesh.

Aakesh then gestured for Katrina and Autumn to sit down, as they were his trainers, and they deserved respect, even though he only called for it after Katrinaʼs complaint.

He then suddenly remembered something and looked at Maria.

”> ”You can now exchange your wealth from Panagea into Sacred stones without using store cards or entering Panagea,” Aakesh informed Maria, as she wouldnʼt have enough money in her pockets to become a store customer.

”Ten thousand medium Soul stones are equivalent to one lesser Sacred stone,” Aakesh added.

Maria couldnʼt help but smile after hearing Aakesh. The worry about money didnʼt appear in her head when she was far from the store, but after seeing Aakesh and talking to him, she began worrying about it.

As Aakesh had expected, her wealth wasnʼt enough to allow her to enter Panagea for six hours, using 1x stay. Maria would have taken centuries, if not thousands of years, to reach the store if it hadnʼt been for Katrina and Autumn.

Considering the exchange cost, it would cost her five million medium soul stones to exchange them for one lesser Sacred stone, but Maria didnʼt worry much about it since she had a large fortune stored in Panagea. Before ascending, she was the leader of the Skylord organization.

It started with only adventurers in Panagea, but it became a big organization in the Primal Dimensions as well after many Immortals and other cultivation-level cultivators joined them, hoping to take the first-player advantage of the Skylord in Panagea.

Maria then thought about exchanging, and the next moment, a blue screen popped out in front of her.

The screen was rectangular in shape, with a line dividing it into two sections. The right section contained information about her wealth in Soul stones, while the left part asked Maria for the amount she wanted to debit.

Maria already had an amount in mind, so she thought of it in her head. The next moment, that sum appeared on the left part of the screen. At the same time, a golden button also appeared below the sum, containing how much would be deducted.

Maria then tapped on the screen since her foundation in Panagea was still there. She might have disbanded the organization before ascending, but it would take no time to create another one.

Ten thousand middle soul stones equaled one lesser Sacred stone, but one top soul stone equaled ten thousand ordinary Sacred stones.

Maria had a total of around one billion top soul stones, so she converted them all, keeping all her medium and low soul stones.

The next moment, a gigantic mountain of two billion, forty million, four thousand, and seventy-six ordinary Sacred stones appeared inside the store.

Maria didnʼt have to count the stones, as she couldnʼt even imagine in her dreams that the store would cheat her.

The next moment, all the stone was devoured by the space inside her space ring. It was the same space ring that Aakesh had made her.

Just in one moment, Maria became wealthier than the majority of the people in Thorr City, even though she still had thirty percent of her wealth left to exchange in Panagea.

Soon after, a conundrum rose since Maria couldnʼt gather enough lesser Sacred stones to enter Panagea and couldnʼt bring one higher stone to buy the Higher Store Card.

Aakesh didnʼt break the conversion rule for Maria, as the rules were the same for everybody.

At that time, Katrina came off as a big help as she offered to give Maria a higher Sacred stone. But to do that, Maria needed to pay twenty thousand ordinary stones, or twice the conversion rate.

”So, what do you say?” Katrina asked, not even trying to hide the gloating expression on her face.

Aakesh didnʼt try to involve himself in such a situation, so he silently waited.

***

”Store owner, I want to enter Panagea,” Maria smilingly requested.

At the end, she had no choice but to accept Katrinaʼs offer. But it seemed that Katrina had gained some conscience; she only took one ordinary Sacred stone extra and returned the remaining 9999 stones.

***

Maria proceeded toward the portal room after paying 1425 lesser Sacred stones for her eighteen-hour Panagea stay.

”You donʼt want to test the storeʼs products?” Aakesh asked since Katrina and Autumn had shown no interest in learning about the storeʼs products.
