The First Store System

Chapter 1095: Helma and Gerain!

”How are you going to pay me for the piece of information I brought you?” Vusca asked, his eyes unceremoniously surveying Helmaʼs body.

Helma raised her eyes in anger, and a wave of pressure hit Vusca.

”I am sorry; I was just joking with you.” Vusca immediately apologized.

Helma returned to normal and stopped the pressure. Vusca extended her hands and stretched, feeling freedom. He then went ahead and sat on the chair next to Helma.

”How could he do this?” Helma mumbled, remembering what her son had done. It was true that Hostics followed a matriarchal power system, but she wasnʼt going to waste the potential of Gerain. He was even more talented than her.

Gerain was the only Hostic who had a chance of surpassing the Higher God level one day, but this sudden betrayal hurt Helma. She cared about the future of Hostics, but she couldnʼt accept a traitor in her own family.

Helma decided to punish her son, but before that, she looked at Vusca.

”Meet me three nights later,” Helma informed Vusca. The next moment, she waved her hands, and a wave pushed Vusca out of the room.

Vusca smiled wryly, but when imagining what would happen three nights later, a smile spread across his face. He then left the place, not letting anyone else find out about the romantic relationship between him and Helma.

After Vusca left, Helma summoned Gerain. Since Gerain wasnʼt in the city, Helma had to wait for a while before he rushed back to the city.

***

”Greetings, mother!” Gerain respectfully bowed and greeted Helma.

Gerain could sense the weird atmosphere in the room, as other than him and Helma, all three Higher Gods in the clan were present in the room. They also didnʼt know anything about why Helma suddenly summoned them, so they stood silent and waited for her to announce her purpose.

Helma responded with a smile to Gerainʼs greeting. She then gestured for him to sit on his chair.

”All of us know that since the beginning, Hostics has followed the matriarchal system.

Even though it has been trillions of years since we have followed the system, it hasnʼt betrayed us. But today, the need has arisen for the system to change.

As all of us know, my eldest son, Gerain, is the most talented Hostic to take birth in the last billions of years. Having the best cultivation talent doesnʼt equate to a great talent in administration, but how would we know if we donʼt test him…”

Gerain couldnʼt help but clench his fist in excitement as soon as he heard his mother talking about the system in the clan.

There were three Higher Gods in the clan other than Helma. Two were Helmaʼs family members, her mother, and grandmother, the previous matriarchs of the clan, while the third one came from a different family.

The three Higher Gods looked shocked by what Helma was saying. The one from outside the family appreciated what Helma was saying, while the other two showed anger on their faces for Helma even daring to think of changing the system.

”What are you-” The grandmother chimed in, but Helma shot her a look, and she immediately stopped.

”> Before Gerain, Helma was the most talented Hostic and the only peak Higher God in the clan and on the planet Dornia.

Helma then continued, ”My son deserves to be the next ruler of Hostics.”

”In fact, he is so much passionate about it that he didnʼt even think twice about the consequences before joining the Pangads…”

Suddenly, Helmaʼs tone took a turn, shocking all three Higher Gods and Gerain.

ʼDamn it!ʼ Gerain cursed in anger in his heart, but outside, he showed a shocked and hurt face as if he couldnʼt accept his own mother would doubt him.

Helam scoffed after seeing Gerainʼs reaction. She couldnʼt help but feel a wave of anger passing through every corner of her body.

She announced this meeting to give Gerain one last chance. At the end of the day, she was his mother and couldnʼt punish him since Gerain had always been the favorite of all her children.

But seeing Gerain act like this, all her emotions exploded, and the next moment, a wave of pressure hit the room.

The three Higher Gods were thrown out of the room, while Gerain was forced to kneel on the ground with several of his veins exploding.

If Helma hadnʼt controlled her energy, Gerain would have entirely exploded.

”Are you still not accepting what you did?” Helma coldly asked.

Gerain shivered in fright; he raised his head, and when he saw nothing but coldness in Helmaʼs eyes, he understood that there was no point in hiding anything anymore. Helma had already made her decision to end him.

”Heh! What a brilliant mother?” Gerain provoked Helma because he knew her motherʼs character. He didnʼt want to get tortured. Since Helma knew everything, it was better if it was an instant death.

Helma didnʼt say anything in response but raised her index finger, and the next moment, an energy beam formed and pierced through Gerainʼs head.

ARGH!

The next moment, a scream filled with an unimaginable amount of pain rang in the nearby area, shaking whoever heard it.

Even Helma trembled after seeing her son in such conditions, but she gritted her teeth and maintained her cold expression.

Time flew by, and after what felt like an eternity of torture, Gerain confessed to his actions. He also informed her of those who took part in this with him. It turned out that the grandmother was also taking part in this.

Helma couldnʼt help but grow cold when she remembered how her grandmother was the first to shoot her mouth when she made up the idea of rejecting the matriarchal system.

Helma couldnʼt bring herself to kill her son using her own hands, so she instead, crippled him and put him in prison. As for the grandmother, she was executed publicly.

Three nights later, when Vusca returned to her room, Helma forgot about everything and indulged in the pleasures of the body. At that time, Vusca informed Helma about the rumors about the store.

Helma had a strong feeling about the store, so the next morning she left alone, and here she was inside the store.
