The First Store System

Chapter 1074: Quests(1)

The sun rose on Thorr and its nearby cities, forcing the cover of darkness to hide and disappear.

At that moment, the store on Seventeenth Street also opened its door to customers, while a large number of people stood on the street outside, making it overcrowded.

The familiar, overcrowded street greeted Aakeshʼs sight after he opened the door. He didnʼt let them wait any longer and immediately turned around, returning to his chair.

The next moment, the people thronged the store like a tide. Their number crossed the 500 mark.

In no time, the street turned empty, while the store owners of other stores looked on in envy at the scene.

The storeʼs arrival had completely changed the dynamics of Seventeenth Street. Earlier, it was one of the busiest and biggest markets, but now it had become the largest market by the sheer number of stones spent here every day in the entire Kingdom, and the single store was the cause behind it. It all happened in one year.

For the inhabitants of the Sacred Dimension, one year was a short duration in their lives, but after the arrival of the store even one day became valuable. The other store owners felt jealous of the storeʼs popularity, but at the same time, they also felt helpless for not being able to enter the store easily. There were thousands of daily customers for the store, and similarly, there were thousands of stories.

Aakesh returned to his chair while the customers entered the store like a tide. When every customer appeared inside the store, a golden light separated many of them.

There were only 648 virtual portals in the store, while the number of current customers was 739, so the first 648 customers to enter the store were shrouded in golden light, while the remaining 91 customers looked in disappointment at the scene.

Out of the 648 customers, those who owned cards went to the portal room. Those who didnʼt own any of the three formed a queue, and they proceeded toward the room after paying the sum of thirty-five lesser Sacred stones each.

Around an hour later, the second and third group spots for Panagea were filled, while there were only around a hundred spots left for the fourth group.

Since there were no customers approaching him, Aakesh decided to check his Panagea quest.

The next moment, a blue screen containing the details of the quest appeared in front of him.

[Mission Sequence: Five

[Quest Progress:

Aakesh looked at the screen and nodded, as the store had already met the requirement of having a total of 12,960 hours for the day. Tonight, the number of virtual portals would again increase, further increasing the number of customers.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and soon after, the screen faded into disappearance, waiting for Aakesh to call it back once again.

Today was bound to be special for the store, as it would most likely complete the majority of the ongoing quests at the moment.

After Panageaʼs quest, Aakesh called the quest screen for pills.

The next moment, a screen detailing the questʼs details and progress appeared in front of him.

…

[Quest Progress:

1. Lesser Body Healing Pill: 1,000,000/1,000,000,]

2. Lesser Mental Healing Pill: 1,000,000/1,000,000,

…

17: Higher Spirit Enhancement Pill: 999,991/1,000,000,

…

20. Higher Mind Expansion Pill: 1,000,000/1,000,000.]

Aakesh looked at the screen in front of him. The store was only nine higher Spirit Enhancement Pills away from completing the quest, and it would most likely be met today.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and soon the screen disappeared, waiting for him to call it back.

Aakesh was going to look at another productʼs quest screen, but then he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store, so he stopped and turned in that direction.

The number of new customers entering the store was growing every day, and similarly, the number of non-demons in that group was also increasing.

The presence of so many non-demons in the city due to the store became a point of criticism for the citizens, and they showed their ire to Alfred, the ruler of Thorr City. There was even a fight a few months ago between a non-demon and a group of Vurrons.

But before the scene could turn dangerous, the newly installed police arrived on the scene and solved the issue. The Demons didnʼt like other races, and it wasnʼt a hidden fact, so Alfred created this new department of police to maintain their watch over the city all the time.

For someone like Alfred, it was extremely painful since the move came with a large cost, but he had to do it before any unsolvable situation arose and the Vurrons created a disaster for themselves.

At the same time, Alfred also knew that this was a sensitive issue, so he didnʼt allow the police to solve the situation with raw power. Alfred wanted the Thorrons and other Vurron species to accommodate themselves and grow strong.

All the time, only the Vurrons werenʼt at fault. Sometimes, the situation arose due to the arrogance of the non-demon.

”Hello, store owner!” The man greeted Aakesh. His mouth and eyes were still wide open due to the shock he received from the storeʼs luxury.

Aakesh nodded, and then soon, it was time for him to introduce the products.

”The store currently sells five products…”

Aakesh introduced all five store products in a single breath, further increasing the shock factor for the customer.

After learning that he would need to wait for Panagea, the man left for the weapons room since it was his primary purpose for coming here.
