The First Store System

Chapter 1051: End!

The Chaotic Wyrm grabbed the Rocky Mountain Bear by its head and threw it into the vortex.

It took every ounce of strength from the wyrm as the bear was at its heaviest state, but it succeeded.

The bear tried to fight back the vortex, but in its presence, the bearʼs struggle was similar to pouring a bucket of water on a raging forest fire. The vortex made of chaos slowly sucked the bear in, and in the end, only the vortex was left.

With that, the battle came to an end, and soon after, a card flew into Orekʼs hands.

Orekʼs expression was disappointed, but at the same time, he understood why the Chaotic Wyrm ruled the Sacred Dimension at one point. Despite having a higher number of skills and a tougher defense, the wyrm defeated its opponent. It wasnʼt an overwhelming victory, but a loss was a loss, and a win was a win.

The next moment, a white light covered the two participants, and they disappeared from the battlefield.

This time, they didnʼt appear in the seating area, and they found themselves on the platform with seven other people. These nine were the top three from the three beasts competitions.

They were standing in three rows. Each row referred to a stage of the competition, with the first row relating to the Divine Transformation competition and following the sequence thereafter.

Since the competition was over and the winners were here, it was time to present the rewards.

Aakesh stood up from his chair and approached the participants. But before handing over the rewards, Aakesh had another task left.

He turned toward the crowd since it was now time for him to calculate the money from betting. When Aakesh accepted Lilyʼs request, the system came up with two proposals.

First, the system would pay if the store lost money and take complete ownership if the store was profitable. The second was that Aakesh would pay if there were any losses, and if he didnʼt have that much money in his hands, he could borrow it from the system, but he would have to pay an annual compound interest of five percent on that amount. If the store won in the second case, then Aakesh would be the complete owner of all the money.

Aakesh decided to go with the second option, as he believed he could make money from this venture without having to bet. Even if he bet large and won against the store, he would still have to pay from his pocket as the system restricted him to betting a limited amount of stones. The deal wouldnʼt make sense if Aakesh was free to bet whatever amount he wanted.

Right after the battle between Ayriel and Orek was over, the calculation of winning and losing appeared in Aakeshʼs head in the form of memory.

Aakesh had expected people to refuse to pay at the end, and then he would use them as an example, but it seemed people were honest, as those who lost bets sincerely came forward and paid their sum.

In no time, a gigantic mountain of stones formed on the platform. The average citizen of the city looked enviously at that mountain, but those who were knowledgeable knew that this amount was nothing in front of what the store was rewarding the winners with.

Those who won their bets directly received the difference. Those customers who had cards directly received the amount on their cards, while for those who didnʼt own cards, Aakesh called them to the stage one by one and handed them their winning amount.

It took around an hour to complete the process, and in the end, Aakesh decided to let this be the only one with betting. His winnings werenʼt that great, and it took a lot of time.

After the process was over, Aakesh finally focused on the winners of the three rounds.

Aakesh approached the row, referring to the Divine Transformation beasts. First, there was Riddley, then Fidel, and at the end, there was William, the competitionʼs winner.

A card appeared in Aakeshʼs hands, and he passed it to Riddley, the third-ranked participant; one extra hour in Panagea.

Time flew by, and Aakesh finally reached the last row of the top three competitors in the Divine Lord Beast competition.

Aakesh handed a card to Elwynn: Three extra hours in Panagea. He then gave another card to Orek: three extra hours in Panagea and a coupon for hatching up to Divine Lord eggs. Aakesh then reached Ayriel and gave her the card for the winner.

The other cards were simply silver in color, but the card for the three winners was golden with blue borders.

Since Ayriel was the winner, she received one free spin, a hatching coupon up to True God level eggs, and three extra hours in Panagea.

The card in the ranked participantʼs hands had their rewards written. Those who had only one reward would lose their card after they claimed it. Those who had more than one reward would lose their card after they claimed all of them. There was no time limit on claiming the rewards, and they could do it whenever they wanted, even if it was billions of years later.

After Aakesh handed over the rewards, he waved his hands, and the next moment, these participants appeared in their seats.

The competition had gone on for several hours, but since today was the Nightless Day, there were no signs of the sun setting down.

”The competition is over. The store will operate normally from tomorrow,” Aakesh announced since there was nothing left for the people to continue their stay here.

The people were disappointed to leave the store, but since they could do nothing, they began to leave one by one. In the end, only four people were left in the store: Asher, Alfred, the current King, Jamie, and the previous King, Jerome.

Jamie and Jerome wanted to meet Aakesh, but since Aakesh didnʼt care, he told them to come back tomorrow if they wanted to meet him.

Jerome became angry with the blunt attitude of Aakesh, but since he could do nothing, he silently left the store.

”Hey, system, remove the temporary expansion effect,” Aakesh requested after only he and Lily were left in the store.
