The First Store System

Chapter 800: Shocking the Primal Dimension(End)

As Aakesh closed the door and brought an end to another fruitful day for the store, he couldnʼt help but jump in excitement.

Lily, seated on Aakeshʼs head, had the same expression of joy since she already knew what was to come.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations, Host!]

[Host, you have successfully completed the quest: The Last Quest!]

[The mission reward: Ascendance to the Sacred dimension, awarded!]

[Host, you have two options for ascendance:

1. You can ascend facing the tribulation,

2. You can ascend without facing the tribulation.]

A flurry of alerts continuously rang in Aakeshʼs head, making him even more excited.

In the end, when Aakesh heard the options of ascendance, he didnʼt have to think of which way was better.

Without wasting any time, Aakesh chose the option to ascend after facing tribulation.

The tribulation was dangerous, but for someone like Aakesh, it was nothing but a mine of rewards. There was no resource better than the tribulation thunder to make the body more durable.

At the same time, Aakesh wanted to see his bodyʼs limit and how many rounds of destruction and reformation he could take.

Aakesh told the system his choice, and soon, a flurry of warnings rang in the store.

[Host, ascending while facing the tribulation would be dangerous for you.]

[Your body had already crossed the threshold of what the physiques of the Primal dimension could achieve. The tribulation for you would be more challenging than any other cultivator.]

After hearing the systemʼs warning, Aakesh became even more excited about the tribulation. The grueling it was, the more rewards his body would receive.

”Hey, system, what about Lily?” Aakesh asked the system since the quest only talked about his ascendance.

[Host, she would ascend with the store!]

”Lily, why donʼt you face the tribulation?” Aakesh suddenly asked her.

Lilyʼs body and energy level had long crossed the peak. Like Aakesh, she had also reached the limit of attributes in the Primal dimension.

”Sure,” Lily replied in her childlike voice. She also knew the benefits of the tribulation, so she readily agreed. She wanted to get stronger as well.

”Hey, system, can I postpone the ascending?” Aakesh then suddenly asked the system.

The event was from tomorrow, and it wouldnʼt look good on the store and his own created event if he ascended a night before its start.

[Yes, Host!]

[You can postpone your ascension for thirty days at most!]

After hearing the systemʼs response, Aakesh heaved a sigh of relief. He only needed three days since the event was three days long.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, and hours turned into days, and in the blink of an eye, the event was in its last phase. Only rewarding the territory card to the winner was left.

The winner of this yearʼs territory competition was Lenna. After being a customer of the store for more than a thousand years, Lenna was finally able to have a territory of her own.

Aakesh called Lenna up and handed over the territory card to her. Lenna had an excited as well as a respectful expression as she gently took the card from Aakeshʼs hands.

”Thank you, senior,” Lenna thanked Aakesh.

Aakesh only nodded and waved his hands. The next moment, several billion participants standing on the platform appeared on their respective chairs.

”With this, this yearʼs event has come to a close,” Aakesh then announced the end of the event.

The attendees had excited expressions as they left the store one by one.

Those who had supreme cards teleported to their houses after stepping outside the store, while those who didnʼt own it were traveling on their foot while discussing the magnificent competition they had just watched or participated in.

Jonnah was the last to leave the store. His eyes were red since Aakesh had already told him that today would be his last day. After tomorrow, he would be the sole caretaker of the store.

To compensate him for it, the system had increased Jonnahʼs salary by more than a hundred times.

The salary he earned now was 99,999 supreme primal stones, but after tomorrow it would increase to 9,999,999 supreme primal stones.

”Are you ready?” After everyone left, Aakesh asked Lily, comfortably seated on his head.

”I am,” Lily solemnly responded since it was time for her to face her tribulation.

”Do we face it at once, or should I be the one to pass it first?” Lily then asked Aakesh.

”Letʼs face at once but in different places,” Aakesh smiled.

Lily nodded, and the next moment, both of them disappeared from the store.

Aakesh appeared right above the store in the sky, while Lily appeared in space where there was no life in close proximity.

Even Aakesh had no idea just what destruction his tribulation would bring, so Aakesh enhanced the tribulation-pressure-protection array so that no one in the range would die.

Aakesh had enhanced it to an extent where the protection array placed in the Bisan Empire could now cover the entire Anga continent.

Aakesh did this as he wanted his tribulation to at least cover an entire continent.

After Aakesh completed his preparation, he looked at the sky. His face turned cold as he released his aura.

It had been ages since Aakesh had released his aura completely in the Primal dimension. Even the space around him began to crack as it couldnʼt handle the weight.

Rumble rumble rumble!

Rumble rumble rumble!

Suddenly, the sky over the Bisan Empire began to rumble as if an explosion was going on in the sky.

Every living person couldnʼt help but look at the sky with terrified expressions as they felt the coming of an unfavorable tragedy.

The next moment, the sky began to turn dark as dark clouds started to emerge.

In no time, the dark clouds covered the entire Bisan Empire, and it didnʼt seem to stop any time soon.

The dark clouds hadnʼt completely even spread when the pressure from them attacked Aakesh and the people below it.

It was only the start, and the array enhanced by Aakesh began to act. The living felt a hot breeze wash over them as they looked at the sky.

Aakesh, on the other hand, felt nothing from the pressure. He continued to wait for the tribulation to begin with a cold face.

As the dark clouds gathered over the entire Anga continent, Aakesh got what he wanted.

Every living soul staying on the Anga continent, irrespective of their cultivation level, felt dread in their hearts as the sky turned darker than night.

The next moment, everyone was forced to kneel as the pressure began to act against everyone despite the array

While living on the Anga continent was kneeling, and Aakesh was waiting for the first stage to arrive: deep in the largest continent in Visteerna, a single eye open.

It seemed that the eye was like a mirror placed next to Aakesh because a scene of him floating in the air was playing on it.

The eye had nothing but indifference as the tribulation finally attacked Aakesh.

Aakeshʼs body turned still as he suddenly found himself in an illusion.

In the first stage, it was stated that the earlier the cultivation came out of it, the better for them. It was said because once a certain amount of time had passed, it became almost impossible to escape.

However, even those who remained for so long received the most reward from the stage.

Aakesh was one such candidate. His unlimited intelligence didnʼt come to help him here as the tribulation was prepared for him, keeping that in mind.

The illusion showed the worst fear of the cultivators, but since Aakesh feared nothing, his test was different.

In the illusion, Aakesh found himself in an unfamiliar place. He found himself as a baby, while a man was screaming in anger.

The man believed the child to be born of infidelity, so he wanted to kill the boy and his mother. But soon, the man found out that the woman was already dead.

The man felt his heart shattering into pieces as the woman was the most important person in his life. The pain from her death was such that he couldnʼt bring himself to kill the boy.

In the end, the man gave the maidservants some money and told them to take the child away from him.

Years went by, and Aakesh had a loving family. He had loving mothers, a wife, and a lovely daughter.

In the end, a tragedy occurred, as Aakesh died fighting while trying to protect his family.

After his death, he found himself in a room filled with darkness.

(A/N: To read this more, please refer to chapter 500.)

At that moment, a question rang in his head, ʼWho was he?ʼ

As the question became louder, the light started to return to Aakeshʼs eyes in the Primal dimension.

After staying in the illusion for several hours, Aakesh finally came out of it.

Aakesh took a deep breath to calm his heart as he was finally out of it.

He finally knew why the system had warned him.

Aakesh got no time to think about the illusion when suddenly, a wave of unbearable pain attacked him.

Once the tribulation began, there were no breaks till passing.

Aakeshʼs soul was already strong, so it pained him even more as it slowly disintegrated.

Time flew by.

The second stage usually varied between several seconds to a few minutes and went for more than an hour for Aakesh.

Aakesh persisted through all of this without leaking even a single sound. When the second stage ended, he received a ton of energy restoring his soul.

If his soul was equivalent to one before the second stage, now it was a thousand; such was the growth Aakesh received from it.

Aakesh couldnʼt help but be excited to know how many times strong he would be over other geniuses of the same level in the Sacred dimension.

After the wave of the gain came the punishment.

Rumble!

Rumble!

The sky rumbled once again, and the entire continent began to shake as if its doomsday was coming.

Lighting started to swirl around the dark clouds as they prepared to attack Aakesh.

The shaking of the continent continued to increase as even the enhanced array was no longer able to handle the pressure.

All the Immortals spread across the continent were forced to kneel as even they werenʼt able to look at the sky.

Crash!

The clouds had prepared enough, as finally, the first thunderbolt struck Aakesh.

Aakeshʼs face was cold as he felt nothing from the last strike. Soon, the sky began to rain thunderbolts in a wave, each stronger than the last.

Aakesh couldnʼt help but frown as his overpowered body was making him feel even more pain than an average cultivator would receive at their seventh or eighth round of destruction.

Time flew by. It took more than ten minutes for Aakesh to complete the first process alone.

The array began to get overpowered by the pressure, but it continued to hold on without breaking. The same was the case for the Anga continent, it continued to shake, but no natural disaster occurred.

Several hours had passed as Aakesh continued to repeat the round of destruction and reformation. With each round, Aakeshʼs body was getting stronger than ever before.

Aakesh had long crossed the bare minimum mark of eleven rounds. He was currently going through his twenty-ninth round.

The night also arrived on the Anga continent, it was impossible to know for the people since the situation remained the same since the event ended.

Aakesh still hadnʼt reached his limit, so he continued repeating the process.

Time flew by, and in no time, eight hours had passed.

The sun was around an hour from rising and announcing the start of a new day, while Aakesh was going through the one-hundred-and-eighth round of destruction and reformation.

Each round after the hundredth had tested Aakeshʼs persistence. Aakesh felt several times to give up on everything and return to deathʼs embrace, but Aakesh continued since he wasnʼt one to give up.

In the sky, dark hair, flowing smoothly like waves, emerged from Aakeshʼs scalp as this round also came to an end.

Aakesh felt that he could go for another round when he suddenly sensed the dark clouds slowly receding back.

In no time, the array returned to calm, while the sky returned to normal.

It was an astonishing reaction on the part of Aakesh since the tribulation ended before he could reach his bodyʼs limit.

The next moment, an unparalleled amount of energy began to melt, and his strength continued to rise at an unprecedented rate.

***

A few hours earlier,

Lily also passed her tribulation like Aakesh.

In the last stage, Lily also completed one hundred and eight rounds of destruction and reformation, but unlike Aakesh, she reached the end of her endurance.

After completing her tribulation, Lily teleported back to the store.

Since the Primal dimension wouldnʼt allow her to stay here for long after successful tribulation, Lily went back to the store as Aakesh had told her before leaving.

***

Today was a day that would be remembered in history for eternity. Two beings entirely defeated tribulation, and it would also be the day when the mysterious store owner left the dimension with his pet.
