The Devil Does Not Need to Be Defeated

Chapter 375: “I’ll Consider Your Paralysis.”

“I’ll show you something.”

Danas suddenly said, then snapped his fingers.

As the sound of the snap echoed, another figure emerged from the shadows behind him.

The figure was petite, seemingly a child at first glance, also cloaked in a black robe, their face completely hidden.

However, Shien sensed a familiar magic power from the small figure, causing the expression on his face to disappear for the first time.

Not only Shien, but Oz and Maeve also seemed to sense something.

“Could that be…!?”

“How…”

Oz’s eyes widened, while Maeve was speechless.

“It seems you’ve noticed.” Danas said with a smile. “This is my latest creation. In order to create it, I’ve exhausted all my accumulated resources from the past few decades.”

In other words, it was a magical lifeform that Danas had recently created.

And this magical lifeform, besides consuming the precious materials Danas had accumulated over decades, also used something else.

“Did you use Beatrice’s magic power as a raw material to create this magical lifeform?”

Shien asked with an impassive face.

That was exactly what happened.

“As you know, creating a magical lifeform involves many uncertain factors.”

Danas explained.

“Many factors determine a magical lifeform’s abilities, characteristics, and even appearance.”

“The quality of the materials.”

“The level of the skills.”

“The creator’s imagination.”

“These factors influence the completeness of a magical lifeform and determine its abilities.”

“Because of this, even using the same materials and Bio-Creation Magic, it’s still unlikely to create identical magical lifeforms.”

Danas glanced at the four black-robed figures around him.

“These magical lifeforms of mine, I call them Warfighters. The [Symbiosis] skill they learned can only be acquired by individuals with a deep life connection, usually only twins or similar beings. Ordinary people can’t learn this skill, not even the Divine Race or the Demon Race. So, in order to create these four identical Warfighters, I practically exhausted all my efforts.” ṜäŊǒ฿Ëṩ

Magical lifeforms above level eighty weren’t easy to create.

The materials required were probably astronomically expensive.

One could imagine how much effort Danas had put into creating these four magical lifeforms with the [Symbiosis] skill.

Moreover, there was the possibility of failure, or creating other magical lifeforms that couldn’t use [Symbiosis]. Spending all his wealth was definitely a prerequisite for completing these four Warfighters.

Shien could even imagine how many unscrupulous things Danas had done to create these Warfighters.

After all, he was a member of the Old Demon Faction, a lawless terrorist. It was impossible for him to achieve his goals without resorting to unorthodox methods.

What Danas wanted to say was that in order to create the magical lifeform he envisioned, he had to find another way.

How did he find another way?

It was simple.

“Creating a magical lifeform that is exactly as you imagine is extremely difficult, with only one exception, right?”

Shien said calmly.

“That’s right.” Danas nodded happily. “Only when the magic power of a reference object is added is there a high probability of creating a magical lifeform with the same appearance and even abilities as the owner of the magic power.”

This was something Shien could find even in the magic book library beneath the royal palace.

Since even Shien knew this, Danas, an expert in magical lifeforms, couldn’t possibly not know.

Therefore, Beatrice was kidnapped.

“My intention was only to collect some of her magic power. I wasn’t interested in her. Therefore, it was your fellow human who took her away from here, not me.”

Danas smiled, trying to clear his name, then patted the small black-robed figure’s head.

“This child is the creation I made using the magic power collected at that time. It is thanks to her that I can control the evil aura and the evil beings here, making them work for me.”

The reason why the Old Demon Faction occupying this place could ignore the threat of the evil aura and control the evil beings to a certain extent was finally revealed.

Because Danas possessed a magical lifeform created using Beatrice as a prototype, something like a replica of Lilith’s other half, he was able to achieve this.

However…

“Y-you actually created a replica of a god?”

Maeve was shocked.

“Impossible!”

Oz also exclaimed.

The reason was simple.

“How did you do it?” Shien looked directly at Danas. “Bio-Creation Magic can’t be used to create the Divine Race. Why did you succeed?”

This was incredibly bizarre.

Bio-Creation Magic was based on the birth process of demons and monsters.

Since demons and monsters were influenced by magic power and could be born through natural or artificial means, people developed Bio-Creation Magic based on this birth process.

But how were gods born?

They were split from the Supreme God Omniis, essentially Omniis’s offspring.

This way of existence was vastly different from other races.

Why was the number of gods fixed and unchanging?

Because, being born from Omniis, they only possessed the domains and powers they received at birth. Since domains were limited, their numbers were also limited.

They couldn’t reproduce, nor could they truly die. Even if they perished, as long as Omniis willed it, they could be resurrected at any time.

They were fundamentally different from other races, even their life forms were different. It was impossible to create replicas of them using Bio-Creation Magic.

This wasn’t a matter of the strength of the magic, but a matter of principle.

Therefore, no matter how many precious materials Danas consumed or how high his magic skill level was, it was impossible for him to achieve this.

However…

“It’s naturally impossible for true gods, but she is only a separated rationality. As long as the magic formula is adjusted, the fundamental principle of creation is reversed, and a new system is constructed, it’s not impossible.”

Danas’s nonchalant words left everyone speechless.

In other words, in order to achieve this goal, Danas had developed a magic spell specifically for creating magical lifeforms of the Divine Race.

It might not work on true gods, but if used on a god’s other half, it might succeed.

Of course, it was only a possibility.

There were indeed many uncertain factors in Bio-Creation Magic. Danas had exhausted all his efforts for the four Warfighters. Now, creating a god’s other half, even failure was normal.

“I was even prepared for a long struggle, spending another few decades to complete it. Who would have thought that the heavens would favor me, letting me succeed on my first try.”

Danas boasted about his good luck, making Shien finally abandon his dismissive attitude and take this member of the Old Demon Faction seriously.

He might be weak, but he possessed extraordinary perseverance, patience, and persistence. He was definitely not to be underestimated.

At least, he was now a real threat.

“I’m not really interested in Lilith. I’m more interested in your fellow human.”

Danas said.

“What I’m truly interested in are these followers of the evil god who were corrupted and completely fallen.”

He was referring to the crazed evil beings.

“Not only are these followers of the evil god numerous, but there are also some ancient super powerhouses who haven’t been released yet.” Danas’s eyes lit up. “When they are released and controlled by me, becoming my army, don’t you think no one in this world will be able to oppose me?”

Danas’s goal was now clear.

He wanted to control the ancient, sealed evil beings and use them for his own purposes.

“Are… are you crazy…!?”

Oz couldn’t help but exclaim.

“For such a purpose, you’re releasing Lilith and so many evil beings?”

Maeve also found it unbelievable.

Shien, on the other hand, understood Danas’s ambition.

“I see.” Shien said calmly. “Once Lilith is released, she will definitely spread her evil aura again like in ancient times, creating more corrupted and crazed beings, and those will become the army you control.”

Danas wouldn’t need to painstakingly conquer the world. He only needed to release Lilith and let her rampage.

When the time came, the land would turn into hell again, and all living beings would become evil beings. Then, he, who controlled Lilith’s magical lifeform, would reap the benefits, controlling those evil beings as his subordinates and taking over the world.

“The Six Demon Lords and the Three Goddesses probably won’t care about a small fry like me trying to take advantage of the situation. Their attention will be focused on Lilith, right?”

Danas finally said triumphantly.

“Is my plan feasible?”

Shien smirked.

“Whether it’s feasible or not, I don’t know.” Shien looked deeply at Danas. “But I understand why you’re wasting so many words on me.”

After saying so much, Danas actually just wanted to remind Shien of one thing.

“As long as Lilith is released, the world will be yours, right?” Shien sneered. “You want to convince me to join you and help you break Lilith’s seal, then you’ll give me a part of the world in the future, right?”

“As expected of Viscount Buztout.” Danas laughed. “How about it? Isn’t it worth considering?”

Danas’s words were met with a brilliant smile from Shien.

“I’ll consider your paralysis.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Shien’s magic power surged.

“Boom—!”

A burst of flames erupted from the ground, blasting towards Danas.

Shien attacked without hesitation.
