The Conquerors Path

Chapter 815: Chapter 813-Nice Techniques.....

The eyes of everyone in the place focused on me. The gathering took place in an open area with at least hundreds of students around, and the focus here was at the max as I walked out of the crowd into the light. Though the moment I did, I saw the focus of the girls loosen up, their eyes almost falling into a hypnotic light.

”So handsome...”

”Heʼs perfect.....”

”Beautiful....”

”That blood.....um~”

The voices of all around me started to fill my ears, the whispers told even in secrets, excluding the weird words being spoken by the gathered female vampires, the rest admiring me as I walked into the limelight, the focus of all genders squarely focused on the walking legend of the academy that has brought miracles upon miracles to the place.

Currently secretly ranked as the strongest student in the whole academy, the great enigma of the academy that is rarely seen in public had suddenly appeared in the open at the crowd, and it all blasted forth from that single entrance of mine-the desires, greed, and lust of the girls focusing in around me.

The symbol of the most eligible bachelor isnʼt something that can be removed easily at all. My presence alerted all the girls in different manners-the desire to get close to me, some lusting for my body, greater ones being greedy for the power and prestige I could give them by sticking close to me. I could feel and relish all these desires being single-handedly focused on me.

The majority, if not all, the girls simply looked at me, not even minding the fact that some of them stood there with their love. My presence, double-formed from the divine, is extremely hard to resist for any normal girl. Leaving aside the girls, the jealousy, anger, and envy of the men swarmed around me.

The jealousy of what I could have, the envy of getting it from me, the hatred of seeing me famous, the helplessness they felt when compared-all of this blasting forth another deep- seated, darker emotion into the mix. And all of this, like little threads flowing into my hands, gave me the ability to command and control them into corruption.

Pull at the right thread, do the right actions, give the right corruption, and the threads will fall into full red, taking over the gentle blue of order to give chaos. And all of this could be seen and felt by me. Of course, while I said this outside, it just happened as all of them, being shocked, their gazes focused on me.

The whispers got higher as I walked fully into the light in front of everyone, my presence and charisma being extremely high enough to take complete control of the situation. Using my presence, I pushed and kept an aura around me to stop the girls from pulling into me. Thus, with a small smile on my face, I walked towards the stiffened Ella in the seat.

”How are you?”

I asked with a smile as I stood in front of Ella, who quickly brought herself out of her dazed state faster than the rest of the girls who were still in a dazed as she asked,

”What are you doing here?”

”I was just out for a walk and saw this. Thought I might enjoy myself to the scene until I noticed some moves I didnʼt like happening.”

My words had a deeper meaning to which the very clever Ella narrowed her eyes, her gaze lingering on her opponent for a moment. After which, she turned to look at me, seemingly some kind of magnet-like attraction as she looked at me, a swirling feeling in her body and emotions as she asked,

”Did something happen?..... You feel different.....”

ʼVery sharp senses indeed.ʼ

I thought, and just as I was about to reply, a very disgruntled voice chimed in,

”I am still here, you know?”

His voice had a certain edge to it as I turned to look at him. The moment our eyes met, he shrivelled for a moment, seemingly being taken aback, my presence overwhelming this intellectual guy who focuses more on tactics than strength.

ʼHe looks like those womanising types, not like I can complain.ʼ

The dude had very shiny, soft, curly blonde hair surfing through his head, sparkling green eyes that matched a handsome face, an intellectual look in him, and a hidden arrogance that he was always the smartest one in the room. My sense picked up much more about a person with a single look after reaching the divine.

I could tell that he was quite confident with his charm, and he considered himself quite the genius himself. He seems to have gotten things his way whenever he tries, and he seems to have even spent quite a good amount of time with women, too. He also seems to take some interest in taking strict women and breaking them into pleasures they love.

ʼQuite the hidden sides, I must say.ʼ

I didnʼt feel much when I got to know about this guy in person. After all, what am I to say when, even in question, I, too, am evil?

”Sorry, didnʼt see you there. I was more focused on talking to this lovely woman here.”

A small mannerism and a gentle voice with my actions as I spoke, earned me a small smile from Ella. However, the very clearly hidden red ears show that my words have quite an effect on her. After the war we went through, she only has positive emotions for me, so itʼs easy to get good reactions out of her.

”We are still in the middle of a game.”

This dude spoke again, seemingly a bit pissed, but he was smart enough not to try and rile me up much, knowing to keep his lane. However, I could see that I had made him feel some level of hatred toward me. Guess the fact of me taking away his limelight is making him feel a bit less happy, and even standing beside me is making him feel smaller as a person.

The girl he is trying to woo seemingly forgot about him the moment I came, the same happening with the crowd that was watching on with bated breaths.

”Oh? A game of chess, is it? I was indeed keeping my eyes on it, but whatʼs this about a bet?”

I asked with a small, light tone, the words making Ella frown as she replied before this dude, whose name I donʼt want loading my mind, could speak.

”This here is Lompak. He has been asking me out for some time, but I kept refusing, and now

he wants a chess match where if I lose, I need to go out with him.”

I kept my expression straight as I nodded my head at Ellaʼs words, then asked,

”And what if he loses?”

I asked, to which Ella replied,

”Then he has to stop pestering me.”

Ella directly replied, to which I asked,

”Is this a no-ability match?”

Ella nodded her head at those words, and I could see my words had made this Lompak a bit nervous even though he didnʼt show it. Thatʼs what I mean-this dude was cheating. This was a match of just your intellect, a game of seeing and playing for how good you can defeat your opponent stripped bare of any other powers.

Itʼs a sacred type of game in this level of chess, and this dude was blatantly breaking all the rules. Of course, Ella is no idiot. She would have used precautions and even taken an oath or some contract before the game to make sure that he wouldnʼt use any sort of abilities. There are, after all, contracts and other stuff used before to make sure no cheating happens. Otherwise, isnʼt it just plain stupid to play a game based on just your ʼword,ʼ especially in this world where several types of abilities exist and many that havenʼt even been marked yet? But then begs the question-how is this dude cheating his way through it? Itʼs ingenious in its own way such that he isnʼt actually ʼcheating.ʼ

The truth of it is that this electric brain flow is a by-product of his bloodline ability that matches something towards lightning attacks or lightning-level thinking. Even then, for him to be able to read the electric thoughts, he needs to have established a room filled with his own electric pulses and set the conditions in his favour to feel the by-product and conduct his

electrical flow.

Basically, what he had done was rig the game from the beginning itself, making sure to place things that affect the overall game in the chessboard he is using the small lightning-ridden spell etched deeply in the ground and his friends spread around the whole place that is lightly leaking electric impulses that canʼt be sensed by others but are helpful to him. These several conditions must be passed for him to feel the electric pulses passing through, guiding the actions. All these conditions help to sense a pulse that creates the by-product of his bloodline ability. In a sense, he isnʼt using his ability, causing several loopholes around

the whole contract.

ʼHe is smart and prepared. I like it.ʼ

In some ways, the kid reminds me of myself, his way of trying hard to get the girl. Very good, I must say. Too bad I would have to crush him to the ground.
