Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 912: Unexpected Finding

”Selena!” Nathan shouted.

Selena was standing as if nothing happened. However, there was something underneath her foot.

If one lowered their vision, they would find a humanoid alien lying down, dead.

There was an alien hiding in this place, but there was only this one alien.” Selena pointed down. ”Risa, Sasha, and Yin Zhen were going around to check other places to make sure there was no more hidden danger.

Sera waved her hand. ”Everything is under control. It was surprising, but no one was hurt. It was only a mature class alien, so it wasnʼt hard to take it down.”

”…” Both Nathan and Alavenya looked surprised.

”Whatʼs wrong?” Selena and Sera tilted their heads at the same time, not understanding their reactions.

”Oi. Whatʼs wrong?” Flora and Noelle also came out of their buildings.

”An alien?” Noelle grabbed the handle of her sword.

”Donʼt worry. It has been taken down.” Sera waved her hand, calming Noelle down.

Instead of giving an answer, Nathan exchanged looks with Alavenya. They came to a tacit understanding.

Nathan and Alavenya approached the alien.

”What are you doing?” Selena asked, confused.

Nathan and Alavenya didnʼt say anything. They just continued inspecting the alienʼs body, trying to find the black skin. But as they expected, there was not a single black cell on its body.

”As expected, this alien doesnʼt have a black cell…” Alavenya gasped.

”Huh?” Noelle, Selena, and Sera were confused. Flora looked as if she realized something, while Nathan explained, ”This guy was researching the real aliens. The aliens were not supposed to have a black cell in their body.

”So, he was researching how to take out the black cell from the alienʼs body. In other words, this alien was the alien in its original form. I donʼt know if the influence of the black cell still remained, but either way, this was the first alien whose black cell was removed.”

”!!!”

It was not a matter that could easily be understood. At the same time, if this kind of truth were ever to be revealed, they couldnʼt imagine what kind of storm would be brewing in the four kingdoms.

Flora, who had been hesitating this whole time, gulped down and took a step forward. She faced everyone with a grim expression. ”Everyone… I want you guys to take a look at this.”

Flora gave the book to Nathan. He let Sera read the whole book out loud so that everyone could understand what was going on.

The content of the book shocked them to the core. Their understanding of aliens would have been overturned with this research. It was research that no one wanted to accept. No. It shouldnʼt be publicized in the first place. The society would collapse the moment they realized the summoners who had been defending the human race this whole time originated from aliens.

”Hero Mikhail?” Alavenya raised her eyebrows.

”An alien that taught us how to become a summoner?” Selena looked down, falling into deep thought.

”What is going on? Five rocks… each contains an alien. In another land… What about the sea?” Sera was confused.

Only Nathan seemed a bit excited. He was shouting inwardly, ʼThatʼs Cthulhu, isnʼt it? Itʼs definitely Cthulhu. I wonʼt accept anyone else. The one they sent to this world, especially the one going to the sea… It should be Cthulhu!

ʼStill, other rocks, huh? The alien that fell to other continents… If theyʼre also the ones giving away information about summoners, it will make sense other continents can survive.

ʼAnd this is why summoners were born. But there are still a lot of unanswered questions about summoners, such as why only several of them are capable of becoming one… and so on.

ʼI believe we should get an answer from the aliens themselves. Itʼs no wonder why the conclusion is to seek truth from the aliens themselves. In that case, going to another continent is a possibility.

ʼHow about the ones hiding in the sea? We donʼt know where itʼs located, so I guess going to another continent is a much better option. After all, the humans there might know something about it.

ʼIn that case, the most viable solution is to take down the Divine Hand and visit another continent with the help of Sleeping Garden. Even if other people wonʼt come, Iʼm pretty sure Evelyn and Bella will go to another continent to pursue their target.

ʼStill, a black cell invading the aliensʼ world, huh? If theyʼre controlling the aliens like this, itʼs no wonder the aliens are fighting back.

ʼThe aliens are superior races or so they claim, so thereʼs no way they will let the black cell control them completely. But I donʼt understand how the aliens are getting taken over and how the black cell is able to invade them.

ʼEither way, I need to meet an alien who is intelligent enough to explain it to me.

ʼBut the problem is how to solve it. Although the world class summoner is strong, I donʼt think theyʼre strong enough to fight alongside aliens.

ʼBesides, who are the aliens they control? Weʼre already screwed enough since the legend implies that Azathoth, who is considered the strongest most of the time, opened the portal to this world. Itʼs clear he has been controlled.

ʼIs there even any being that can fight against Azathoth? Heʼs the source of everything, right? Other Outer Gods like Yog-Sothoth or Nyarlathotep? I donʼt know.

ʼBut the aliens should be smart enough to know whether theyʼre hopeless or not. If theyʼre indeed teaching humans so that humans can fight alongside them, they might already know the way to defeat Azathoth or at least defeat the black cell that controls him.

ʼBut is freeing Azathoth the right idea? Will he wipe us out after we help him? Maybe my Soul Contract can do it in one way or another, but I donʼt know if it will even affect that kind of being…

ʼAt this rate, I might have to be more aggressive for the familiars. I might need to consider a much more powerful being, like Nyx or Shiva. I canʼt summon them, but someone else can…ʼ
