Chapter 578: Chapter 323: Longing (Part 3)

”Boni...”

”That person is a descendant of the craftsman who once made your mask, and he feels very sorry for everything you’ve gone through.”

”Boni...”

”I’m so saddened, however, from the first time I saw you, I knew you weren’t the vicious demon described in the rumors.”

Upon hearing this, Ogerpon looked up, its eyes resembling a bright star.

Naoki grinned, ”So, trust me, we mean no harm and won’t hurt you, nor will we dislike you, because you have never done anything wrong.”

Ogerpon was a bit dazed, it looked at the person in front of it, and then a happy expression appeared on its face.

”Boni Boni～”

”Eat up!”

Ogerpon finally began to eat the sandwich, yet as it ate, large tears suddenly fell from its eyes.

Years of loneliness, being ostracized, the grievance of having its mask taken away, the pain of its father being hurt by villains...

All these emotions intertwined into a mess, making Ogerpon so sad it couldn’t control its big and sobbing cries.

Naoki was a bit bewildered, why did it suddenly start crying?

Naoki didn’t know what to do, he hurriedly stood up, but unexpectedly, a few Poke Balls in his pocket accidentally fell out.

The Poke Balls on the ground automatically opened upon impact, and the silhouettes of two Pokemon appeared from the white light.

One was Flutter Mane, and the other was Cyclizar.

Cyclizar, seeing that Pokemon crying so sorrowfully, couldn’t help but be puzzled.

While Flutter Mane’s gaze turned to the Pokemon beside it.

Being a Ghost Type Pokemon, it keenly sensed a strong obsession there.

It saw a tall, stately figure standing beside Ogerpon looking at it.

As if realizing it had been discovered, that ghost turned its head and looked at Flutter Mane.

Once Ogerpon stopped crying, Naoki helped it wipe its tears, then asked, ”Want to leave here with us?”

Ogerpon was stunned.

Naoki sincerely said, ”I’m a Trainer from another place, and in a few days, I’m going to leave here.”

”So, I want to take you away from this place to my hometown, where no one will fear you, nor ostracize you, they are all good people who love Pokemon.”

”There are also many Pokemon living in my home, and there you can meet many new friends; do you want to come with us?”

As he spoke, Naoki extended his hand toward Ogerpon.

Ogerpon listened dumbly to these words.

It looked down at the mask in its hand, then at the human in front of it, thinking that once they left, they’d never meet again...

Thinking of this, Ogerpon couldn’t help but feel very sad.

However...

Looking at the hand inviting it, Ogerpon glanced around and looked at this warm cave.

It suddenly felt very afraid, not wanting to return to that cold and lonely atmosphere again.

Thus, Ogerpon mustered up the courage, and cautiously extended its own hand, placing it in the hand of the human in front of it.

Naoki felt relieved, then turned his hand to hold Ogerpon’s somewhat cold little hand.

”Then, come home with me!” Naoki said softly.

”Boni!”

The rain outside had unknowingly stopped, Naoki took several Pokemon and walked out of the fear cave.

The rain had cleared, and above was a blue sky with not a cloud in sight.

Just looking up at the sky would make people feel good.

Naoki did not immediately leave, he turned around and looked at the cave where Ogerpon once lived, silently promising in his heart:

”Rest assured, I will definitely take good care of Ogerpon, and will never let it fall into such a situation again!”

Meanwhile, Flutter Mane also looked back toward the cave entrance.

It saw that ghost walking out, standing at the cave entrance looking at them, and waved goodbye to them.

Flutter Mane sensed that strong obsession was dissipating, eventually, that ghost also vanished from this world.

”Flutter Mane?”

At this moment, Naoki’s voice came from behind.

Flutter Mane turned around.

Naoki took out a Poke Ball and said to it, ”We should head back!”

”Dream.”

Flutter Mane responded, turned around, and entered the Poke Ball.
