I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Did it fail...” Isshiki sat elegantly at the main seat of the long table and murmured.

At this time, half a month had already passed since he sent Kinoshita Tsukasa to attack Konoha, and during this half month, Kinoshita Tsukasa had not contacted him once.

Without a doubt, this was a very abnormal matter.

Even if there was no opportunity to act, Kinoshita Tsukasa would have reported this intelligence to him, rather than having no news at all.

Isshiki slightly lowered his head, his right hand pressing against his forehead as he fell into thought.

The current situation was somewhat beyond his expectations.

On one side, Darcy sent intelligence that the ninja villages were extremely powerful. On the other side, Sugiyama Minato violently beat the current Kazekage, almost killed the Kazekage, and calmly left. Finally, Kinoshita Tsukasa, whose restrictions had been lifted by him, disappeared during the mission.

Three tests, three completely different results. This made Isshiki somewhat puzzled.

They were all ninja villages, so how could the gap be so big? It was one thing for the Light Ninja Village, this newly established small ninja village, to be an accident, but was Sunagakure not one of the Five Great Ninja Villages of the same level as Konoha? How could the results differ so much?

The essence of Kāma was actually backup data prepared by the Otsutsuki clan for themselves, then implanting Kāma into other people’s bodies to revive and achieve immortality. Therefore, Kāma recorded the powerful strength of the Otsutsuki clan.

And Isshiki felt that although Darcy and the others were accidental products of failed experiments, in a true sense, they were not completely failed, because Darcy and the others had only not inherited the consciousness portion of the data, but only the pure power.

In other words, even if the Kāma on the three of them fully defrosted, it still could not revive Isshiki. It would only make the three of them become brand-new Otsutsuki with all of Isshiki’s former power.

That was why Isshiki had tampered with their bodies and restricted their upper limit of strength to at most Kage level.

Isshiki feared being backstabbed again. Even if those cadres all respected him as if respecting a god, he still would not completely trust these cadres.

If Kinoshita Tsukasa had not had long to live, Isshiki would not have helped him release his restrictions, allowing the Kāma inside his body to continue defrosting.

But Kinoshita Tsukasa failing his mission just like this was something Isshiki had not expected. One had to know that before the restrictions were released, Kinoshita Tsukasa’s strength was already stronger than Sugiyama Minato’s. He was the strongest among the three great cadres.

And Sugiyama Minato could calmly leave after heavily injuring the Kazekage, yet Kinoshita Tsukasa, whose strength had greatly increased after his restrictions were released, went to Konoha and disappeared as if he had evaporated from the world.

At this time, Konoha’s danger in Isshiki’s heart rose sharply, and he somewhat could not understand what was going on in the ninja world.

Sunagakure, one of the Five Great Ninja Villages, had actual strength inferior to the newly established small ninja village, the Light Ninja Village. Konoha’s strength was also not in the same dimension as Sunagakure, which was also one of the Five Great Ninja Villages.

Was Sunagakure too weak, or were Konoha and the Light Ninja Village abnormal? Isshiki already could not understand.

He even had an instant where he suspected all three great cadres had rebelled and were preparing to revolt, and that all the information they gave was false.

However, Isshiki felt it should not be that outrageous. Three of them rebelling together was too outrageous. At most, it should be one.

But Isshiki also had no method now. He could not personally act unless the experiment succeeded and he found someone who could carry his Kāma.

If he personally acted in his current state, it would only lower his own dignity. If he did not use his strength, he could not create a good effect. If he used full strength, it would be equivalent to suicide.

What made things worse was that now even among the three great cadres, he only had two left, and the one missing was the strongest.

He even had to worry whether Kinoshita Tsukasa’s actions had caused Konoha to notice his side.

Isshiki suddenly had a feeling that everything was going badly.

”I need more capable and powerful people to work for me.” Isshiki felt that at this moment, he should further expand his own force.

The previous Isshiki had always hidden in deep mountains and old forests. Even the organization in the Land of Rivers was casually made.

Because he had always not thought much of the natives of this planet.

Although Isshiki would not say this with his mouth, nor would he look at his subordinates with disdainful eyes, this was what he thought in his heart. He did not show it only because he had to maintain the elegance of a noble Otsutsuki.

But at this moment, Isshiki truly felt that he needed a powerful organization to work for him.

Three cadres were too few. He needed more capable and powerful people to work for him, then use the organization to search for someone with the aptitude to inherit his Kāma.

Isshiki thought for a very long time about how he could complete his plan without using too much strength.

He suddenly thought of one point. It was only a backward native planet. Whether their cultivation or their technology, both were far behind the Otsutsuki clan.

Although the Otsutsuki clan was a clan that worshipped individual mighty power, they were, after all, a hegemon of the starry sky. Although their technology could not compare to those starry sky forces that specialized in developing technology, it was still at the level of starry sky technology. Who knew how many streets ahead of Konoha it was?

And Isshiki’s memories still contained some memories of technological techniques.

Coincidentally, the current ninja world had welcomed peace. Under a peaceful situation, technical exchanges among various countries would increase to a certain degree, thereby advancing technological levels.

If at this time he took out technological ideas and products far beyond the current era, he should be able to attract many people to join his organization and work for him.

However, before that, Isshiki had to properly investigate what level the current ninja world’s technology had reached. He needed to take out something suitable, not the best.

Of course, he also could not take out the best. Cutting-edge technology was not something that could be made with both hands just by knowing the theory.

Perhaps these technological products were nothing to him at his peak, but to the current ninja world, Isshiki felt they were definitely products that could change the pattern of this native planet.

...

”This... this is Konoha?” Gaara opened his eyes wide, looking at Konoha’s huge and grand wooden walls. His small mouth was slightly open, clearly somewhat surprised.

Walking all the way here, Gaara had seen many scenes that could not be seen in Sunagakure Village.

In Sunagakure Village, what Gaara saw most was yellow. The buildings of the houses and the vast desert outside were all yellow.

In the Land of Fire, Gaara’s impression was green. He had seen too many forests along the way, as if the Land of Fire was filled everywhere with large trees whose branches and leaves flourished.

”Remember it well. Perhaps this will be demolished in the future.” Nagasawa smiled and touched Gaara’s small head.

Konoha’s wall surrounded the entire Konoha, and only Konoha’s main gate allowed people to leave.

And in Nagasawa’s plan, Konoha still had to develop and expand, so this huge wooden wall that had protected Konoha for decades being demolished was only a matter of time.

As for when it would be demolished, that depended on Konoha’s development speed.

However, Nagasawa could already foresee the scene during the meeting. The two advisors would definitely strongly oppose his measure.

Nagasawa could even guess the reason. It would definitely be words like ”This wall protects Konoha. Demolishing it will greatly reduce Konoha’s safety and make it easier to infiltrate.”

Gaara nodded as if he understood but did not understand. In fact, he did not quite understand why Nagasawa said this.

”You want to demolish this? I’m afraid it won’t be that simple.” Tsunade teased. Clearly, she also knew the conduct of some of Konoha’s higher-ups.

To put it nicely, they were conservative. To put it unpleasantly, they were rotten old things.

If the medical ninja plan had not repeatedly suffered setbacks back then, Tsunade would not have run away in anger.

She had seen too many casualties on the battlefield. Even her younger brother had died on the battlefield, which was why she proposed the medical ninja plan.

In the end, it was fiercely refuted and could not be implemented.

Later, her boyfriend died on the battlefield. Tsunade proposed it again, but there still was not much change.

With Tsunade’s temper, she directly slipped away and stopped playing with them.

”The era has changed. It is no longer the era where they can say it won’t work and it won’t work.” Nagasawa smiled confidently.

Tsunade curled her lips and said, ”Hokage Assistant is truly amazing. Even when speaking, you are so confident. No wonder they fight to become Hokage.”

”You actually had a chance. If you had not left at that time, perhaps the Hokage position might have been yours.” Nagasawa said.

He was not saying this to flatter Tsunade. Rather, it had truly been possible at that time.

At that time, the Third Hokage had already discovered some abnormalities with Orochimaru and became dissatisfied with him. Orochimaru was out.

And Jiraiya did not want to become Hokage at all. Otherwise, how would it have been Minato’s turn?

Among the Sannin, one was out and one did not want to be Hokage. In addition, White Fang was also dead, so the most suitable person was Tsunade.

In terms of identity, Tsunade was the granddaughter of First Hokage Senju Hashirama and also the disciple of Third Hokage. She could be said to be the purest direct line of Hokage.

In terms of achievements, Tsunade also had illustrious battle merits and had made many contributions to Konoha on the battlefield.

Naturally, there was no need to mention strength. Although she was a medical ninja, Tsunade’s strength was not weak.

Adding these three elements together, was she not more suitable than Minato?

”Forget it. I’m afraid I would lose Konoha in a bet.” Tsunade said lazily.

In fact, if they truly wanted her to become Hokage, Tsunade might not necessarily be willing. She would still have to handle all kinds of official duties. Was it not comfortable for her to be the Medical Department’s minister? If there was something, Shizune did it. If there was nothing, she went to Nagasawa to fleece him. Her days were very nourishing.

”Squad Leader Nagasawa, do you think Midori has any chance of becoming Hokage in the future?” Inuzuka Midori listened to the two discuss the topic of Hokage and looked toward Nagasawa with some expectation.

Nagasawa imagined Inuzuka Midori becoming Hokage and immediately shook his head, mercilessly saying, ”If someone really nominated you to become Hokage, I would definitely vote against it.”

Looking at Nagasawa’s expressionless face, Inuzuka Midori directly became tearful, then frantically rubbed her face against Nagasawa’s body.

”Why persecute Midori like this? Am I not your favorite subordinate and proudest disciple?”

”No.” Nagasawa said mercilessly again.

If there really were these two, then the favorite subordinate should be Shisui. Even before joining the training team, he had always diligently worked for Nagasawa.

The proudest subordinate should also be Might Guy. Guy was truly hardworking. Now, in terms of pure Haki strength, Guy had already surpassed Kakashi.

Nagasawa felt that if the current Guy opened the Eight Gates above the Sixth Gate, his strength should be quite terrifying.

”So heartless.” Inuzuka Midori felt that this world persecuted her too deeply, and she trembled in anger and cold.

Kakashi watched Inuzuka Midori fool around with a calm face. Although he had not yet stepped into Konoha, his heart had already returned home.

’Hanarei and Yurihana haven’t seen me for almost a month. They should miss me a lot.’ Kakashi thought in his heart.

After entering Konoha, Nagasawa did not make Inuzuka Midori and Kakashi return to the training team to work, but generously expressed that he would give them another two days of vacation.

When Kakashi heard this, his eyes directly brightened. Then he took out the speed a Kage-level expert should have and rapidly rushed toward his own home.

When Inuzuka Midori heard there was vacation and no need to go to work, she also threw the troubles from just now to the back of her mind. While humming some tune from who knew where, she walked a few steps and then hopped away.

Tsunade also did not waste time. Her hands had long since itched. After greeting Nagasawa, she went to deliver money to people.

The original team suddenly only had three people left: Nagasawa, Gaara, and Yashamaru.

”I have already arranged your residence. Follow me.” Nagasawa held Gaara’s hand and said to Yashamaru.

Before returning, he had already notified the main body’s side. The house and residence certificate had long since been prepared, and Nagasawa had specially arranged a house very close to his own house, making it convenient to look after Gaara.

Nagasawa brought Gaara and Yashamaru to the prepared house and gave them a simple look around. Someone had already been arranged to clean it in advance, so they could move in directly without cleaning.

Then Nagasawa pointed to a nearby house and said, ”That house over there is my house. If there is anything, you can go there to find me, and you can also come to my house to play.”

Clearly, Nagasawa’s latter words were said to Gaara.

Yashamaru did not say anything and silently placed away the luggage he had brought.

Nagasawa looked at the time. It was now past two in the afternoon. He asked Gaara, ”Gaara, do you want me to take you to meet Naruto, whom I mentioned to you before?”

In order to encourage Gaara, Nagasawa had told Gaara about Naruto. Having a Tailed Beast inside one’s body was not a big deal. Naruto was still cheerful and also had many friends.

So although Gaara had never seen Naruto, he also had some understanding of him.

Gaara was somewhat hesitant. It was not that he did not want to see Naruto.

On the contrary, he very much wanted to see Naruto, because both of them had a monster living inside their bodies.

What made Gaara hesitate was that he feared rejection.

He was afraid that Naruto would reject him like those children playing football before.

”Go without worry. Here, there are no rumors that you are a monster.” Yashamaru said with a gentle face.

Perhaps Rasa’s idea was to have Yashamaru monitor Gaara and prevent Gaara from being brainwashed by Konoha and such.

But Yashamaru’s own purpose was very simple, and that was to take good care of Gaara.

Yashamaru hoped that Gaara could spend a cheerful childhood in this place Rasa could not reach.

With encouragement from his uncle, Gaara’s courage increased a lot. He nodded and said, ”Brother Nagasawa, please take me there.”

”Mm, follow me.” Nagasawa nodded. At this time, Naruto and Sasuke were generally training at the place he arranged.

Gaara followed behind Nagasawa, his mood somewhat uneasy.

He did not know what awaited him, but he hoped it was not rejection.

’Even if it’s only one, please let me have one friend.’
