I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Who are you?” Yashamaru looked cautiously at this unfamiliar Konoha ninja and asked.

Although Rasa planned to have Yashamaru follow Gaara to Konoha, because Nagasawa and the others still had to stay here for a period of time to investigate, Rasa had temporarily not told Yashamaru about those matters or Nagasawa’s true identity.

Yashamaru only knew that some Konoha ninja had entered Sunagakure Village, but he did not know exactly who they were.

When Gaara lost control just now, Yashamaru had actually been nearby, but Nagasawa’s speed was far too fast. Just as he was about to make a move, Nagasawa had already acted and slapped away Gaara’s out-of-control sand.

Then Nagasawa made a move to help Gaara integrate into the group, so Yashamaru did not immediately appear. Instead, he continued hiding in the dark, curious about what Nagasawa was planning to do.

However, after all the children left, Yashamaru could no longer stay hidden. He could not let this Konoha ninja get too close to Gaara. Gaara’s identity as a Jinchuriki was very sensitive. Getting close to Gaara was not good for either Gaara or that Konoha ninja.

”Me? Wu Tan City Xiao... fine, I am Konoha Chunin Xiao Yan.” Nagasawa was originally preparing to continue playing with the Battle Through the Heavens joke, but after thinking about how Yashamaru would not understand it, he gave up and acted a little more normal.

Nagasawa sized up Yashamaru a few times.

At this moment, Yashamaru was not dressed like a ninja, but in casual clothes. He wore a dark-blue kariginu, looking very gentle, like a beautiful newlywed young wife.

That was right, the adjective was not wrong. It was young wife, not young man.

Yashamaru looked exactly like his sister, Gaara’s mother, so although his gender was male, he looked no different from a girl.

If he wore a ninja uniform, it could add a little masculine air and make him look less feminine, but in casual clothes, Xiao Yan really felt that he looked like a girl.

”Chunin Xiao Yan, thank you for earlier, helping Gaara out of trouble. He is my sister’s child and is currently being taken care of by me.” Yashamaru thanked him.

Although he did not know what the purpose of this ninja named Xiao Yan was, in Yashamaru’s view, what he had just done had indeed almost allowed Gaara to gain several friends.

If Gaara’s sand had not gone berserk at the beginning, perhaps it would have succeeded.

”It’s nothing. There is no need to thank me for such a small matter. Seeing a cute little child standing there alone, lonely and at a loss, no matter who it was, they would subconsciously want to help.” Xiao Yan smiled.

”No matter who... perhaps.” Yashamaru sighed lightly.

Even a passerby could do this much. Why did Rasa...

”Uncle.” Gaara softly called Yashamaru, his small hand grabbing the corner of Yashamaru’s clothes.

Toward this uncle who looked the same as his mother, who only existed in photos, Gaara had special feelings.

Because in Sunagakure Village, only his uncle Yashamaru would not dislike him and would care for him.

”Mm.” Yashamaru nodded and somewhat heartachingly touched Gaara’s head.

As a small child, Gaara had endured too much that he should not have had to endure. Clearly, he was only an innocent child.

Yet even if Yashamaru wanted to change it, he had no way. It was precisely because he understood Rasa that he knew he could not change anything.

In Rasa’s eyes, the village was always the first priority. For the sake of the village, his own child merely suffering a little was nothing. Even if he died, it would be worth it.

In the eyes of ordinary Sunagakure ninja, Yashamaru was a powerful Anbu, the Kazekage’s right-hand man, an enviable ninja.

But Yashamaru knew that all of this was built on Rasa’s recognition. If he did something Rasa did not approve of, then there would be no need for this right-hand man to exist.

”You should clarify the rumors. This child clearly has a special talent, so how did he become a monster?

After the rumors disappear, it should become a little easier for him to make friends, if his power does not go out of control.” Xiao Yan said.

Yashamaru did not answer Xiao Yan’s words. Clarifying the rumors sounded simple, but this had risen because of the Kazekage’s indulgence. Did he not want to do it?

”Thank you, but this is, after all, our own matter. There is no need to trouble you with worrying about it.” Yashamaru said.

He did not want this Konoha ninja to get involved. It involved a Jinchuriki. Heaven knew whether Rasa would go mad.

If Rasa went mad and caused this Konoha ninja to accidentally disappear, would Konoha easily let Sunagakure off?

Yashamaru knew that this time, it was Sunagakure who had actively asked Konoha for aid. If a Konoha ninja disappeared innocently inside Sunagakure, then the problem would be huge. Perhaps another war might break out.

Though the one who would lose would definitely be Sunagakure. Now, who did not know that Konoha was very strong?

”Oh? Maybe I can solve this matter. I have quite a lot of experience in this area.” Xiao Yan said with a smile.

Seeing this Konoha ninja named Xiao Yan actually being so enthusiastic, Yashamaru did not know how to refuse him for a moment.

”It just so happens that Lady Tsunade is helping treat your Kazekage, isn’t she? I will have Lady Tsunade speak with the Kazekage and have the Kazekage help clarify it for you. With the Kazekage personally standing up for him, no one should dare spread rumors in the future.” Xiao Yan continued.

Hearing Xiao Yan say that he wanted to tell the Kazekage and have the Kazekage personally clarify the rumors, Yashamaru was instantly frightened. He felt that this Konoha ninja was truly a little expert at courting death.

He even wanted to go find the Kazekage to clarify it. Was this not walking right into the trap?

”There is still no need to trouble you. After all, you came to Sunagakure and still have other important matters to busy yourselves with. There is no need to trouble yourselves over such a small matter.” Yashamaru hurriedly said, wanting to dispel the other party’s idea of going to Rasa and walking into the trap.

”It’s fine. This is not some big matter. It’s just mentioning it in passing. How can it be considered troublesome?” Xiao Yan said with a chuckle.

Yashamaru: ...

He really wanted to directly ask Xiao Yan, Do you want to die that much?

How had a ninja who loved courting death this much lived to this age and even been sent to another ninja village? Could it be that he was not usually like this?

”Uncle?” Gaara also looked at Yashamaru with some confusion. Why was Yashamaru always refusing when someone was enthusiastically helping? Would it not be good to remove the rumors?

”I...” Yashamaru looked at Gaara’s eyes and, for a moment, did not know how to explain clearly.

He could not directly say that this matter had your father the Kazekage’s participation, and going to find him would be walking right into the trap.

He also could not tell this Konoha ninja that Gaara was a Jinchuriki, so he should stay out of his matters.

”Could it be that you don’t trust me? You think I cannot speak in front of Lady Tsunade?” Xiao Yan raised his eyebrows and asked.

”I still have that much confidence, at least.”

Yashamaru rubbed his forehead, feeling that sometimes enthusiasm was not a good thing. For ninja, it was like this.

”Sir, I am not looking down on you. It is just that this matter is somewhat complicated and is not very suitable for someone from another ninja village like you to participate in.” Yashamaru tactfully advised.

”Oh? No one who comes would do?” Xiao Yan asked with a smile.

”It must be resolved internally by Sunagakure.” Yashamaru nodded.

”Is that so? If ordinary Konoha Chunin Xiao Yan will not do, then what if it is Konoha’s Hokage Assistant, Fujiwara Nagasawa?” As Xiao Yan spoke, he released the Transformation Technique and returned to his original appearance.

At first, Yashamaru did not quite understand why this Xiao Yan suddenly mentioned Nagasawa. Watching his face gradually change into that of a powerful figure he was familiar with, Yashamaru revealed a shocked expression.

”Assistant Nagasawa?” Yashamaru could not help but ask.

Although he had never gone to Konoha to personally see Nagasawa’s appearance, pictures and portraits of Nagasawa had long since spread throughout the ninja world, so Yashamaru had also seen Nagasawa’s photo, and had also heard of Nagasawa’s battles, knowing his strength and his current status in the ninja world.

”Mm, it’s me.” Nagasawa nodded and answered.

Gaara, on the other hand, was somewhat confused. He did not understand why this enthusiastic big brother suddenly changed faces, though he became much better-looking.

Yashamaru took a deep breath and felt this was very troublesome.

This was the current number one expert in the ninja world. Nagasawa’s contribution to the ninja world returning to its current peace could not be denied.

”Assistant Nagasawa, does Lord Kazekage know that you have come?” Yashamaru carefully asked, ready to take Gaara and retreat at any time.

If Nagasawa had hidden from everyone and entered Sunagakure Village, then what was his purpose? Yashamaru could not think of it, but felt that it definitely would not be anything good.

”He knows. We have already met.” Seeing Yashamaru’s body tense up, Nagasawa could not help but smile, then answered.

Nagasawa’s answer made Yashamaru’s body relax. Since Rasa knew, then it was fine. If Nagasawa really plotted something in Sunagakure, Yashamaru did not know who could stop Nagasawa.

”The reason my identity is being concealed is because there are other important reasons, so you must remember, other than your Kazekage and Elder Chiyo, do not reveal my existence to anyone else.” Nagasawa reminded.

”I understand, Assistant Nagasawa. I will pay attention.” Yashamaru nodded with a solemn expression.

Yashamaru remembered his previous words and thoughts and suddenly felt somewhat awkward.

With Nagasawa’s strength, who could kill him? No wonder he was so confident when he said he could have the Kazekage come out to clarify the rumors.

It was probably not because of Tsunade, but because he was confident in himself.

If Rasa truly dared to act, then Sunagakure Village could consider candidates for the Fifth Kazekage.

”Then do you still think the rumor problem is difficult to solve now?” Nagasawa smiled at Yashamaru.

Yashamaru revealed an awkward smile. This time, he had worried for nothing and met a big shot.

”It is not that I am worried whether you can do it. It is just that Gaara’s situation is very complicated. He is the Kazekage’s child.” Yashamaru thought for a moment and said.

The information that he was a Jinchuriki could not be exposed, but the fact that he was Rasa’s child was nothing and did not need to be hidden.

”I know he is the Kazekage’s child. It is precisely because I know he is the Kazekage’s child that I find it strange. Why would such unfavorable rumors exist about his own child, and he still allows them to spread?” Nagasawa said.

Yashamaru was silent for a while and said, ”Perhaps the Kazekage has his own arrangements.”

”What other arrangements could there be? It is nothing more than because Gaara is a Jinchuriki and he wants to use this kind of suffering to temper the so-called resilient will.” Nagasawa revealed a hehe smile.

No matter what others thought, Nagasawa felt that Rasa’s arrangements for Gaara could only be called stupid.

Yashamaru went numb. He had not expected that Nagasawa had actually even discovered that Gaara was a Jinchuriki. So he had thought up a bunch of excuses for nothing.

As expected of the legendary Fujiwara Nagasawa. He was truly impossible to see through.

However, Yashamaru did not follow Nagasawa and complain about Rasa. Although he very much did not agree with what Rasa had done to Gaara, Rasa was, after all, the Kazekage, and also his sister’s husband. How could he curse him together with someone from another village?

”Originally, this should be your Sunagakure’s internal matter, and it would not be too good for me to interfere. But Gaara is now an exchange student who will soon go to Konoha, so he can be considered half a Konoha person. I cannot watch as rumors about him spread everywhere.” Nagasawa then said something that greatly shocked Yashamaru.

”Exchange student? What is going on, Assistant Nagasawa?” Yashamaru could not help but ask.

How had Gaara inexplicably become half a Konoha person? How did he, the caretaker, not know? How could Rasa let a Jinchuriki go to another village, and such a young Jinchuriki at that? Was this not sending a sheep into a tiger’s mouth?

”Our Konoha and your Sunagakure have reached an agreement. Your Sunagakure will send Gaara to Konoha to study until he graduates from the Ninja Academy.” Nagasawa explained.

”How is that possible.” Yashamaru had an expression of doubting life. If this had been said by anyone else, he would have directly thought the other party was deceiving him. But this person was Assistant Nagasawa, famous throughout the ninja world. What use would there be in deceiving him with this?

If the matter was false, how could Sunagakure allow Gaara to go to Konoha? They would definitely rather go to war than allow their Jinchuriki to be taken away.

”Right, it is not only Gaara. Considering Gaara’s young age, the Kazekage also asked a ninja named Yashamaru to follow along, to take care of Gaara in Konoha.” Nagasawa continued.

Yashamaru: ...

Good heavens, not only was Gaara going to Konoha, even he was going too. According to Nagasawa’s words, perhaps Rasa had even requested it himself.

Yashamaru inexplicably felt as if he had been sold.

”These were all directly discussed between our Konoha and your Kazekage. If you have doubts, you can ask your Kazekage.” Nagasawa smiled calmly and said.

Since Nagasawa had said it to this extent, indicating that he could ask the Kazekage at any time to verify it, even if Yashamaru felt in his heart that this did not match Rasa’s personality, he still believed Nagasawa’s words.

He guessed that perhaps Rasa and Konoha had reached some agreement, and one of Konoha’s conditions was that Sunagakure’s Jinchuriki had to stay in Konoha for a period of time.

Otherwise, there was no way to explain why Rasa, who valued the Jinchuriki so much, would let Gaara become a so-called exchange student and go to Konoha.

Gaara, who had been listening to Yashamaru and Nagasawa speak the whole time, revealed a confused expression and asked Yashamaru, ”Uncle, where is Konoha? Is it good there? Do I really have to go there later?”

”Konoha is in the Land of Fire. The Land of Fire is east of our Land of Wind. The scenery there is very good, and there is no desert. As for whether you really have to go there, I need to ask your father first.” Yashamaru answered.
