I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”What do I think? I’m sitting and thinking.” Nagasawa retorted, then immediately began to think seriously.

Although Sunagakure had always performed rather poorly, the Third Kazekage, who was praised as the strongest Kazekage, was killed by a surprise attack from the young Sasori, the Fourth Kazekage would be killed by Orochimaru, and the Fifth Kazekage was captured and killed by Akatsuki.

This actually could not be blamed on Sunagakure being weak. You had to look at who their opponents were.

Sasori was a genius puppet master personally guided by Chiyo. In the future, he could create the absurd Performance of a Hundred Puppets and control one hundred puppets at the same time. In addition, Sasori had also launched a surprise attack, so it was reasonable for the Third Kazekage to be secretly killed.

There was even less need to mention what happened later. Orochimaru was not someone who cared about martial virtue. He had too many methods, so it was normal for the Fourth Kazekage to fall in his hands. What Gaara faced were the fully grown Sasori and Deidara.

So Sunagakure’s strength was actually not weak. If they were weak, they would not have once fought their way into the Land of Fire and pressed close to Konoha, although that was under the situation where Konoha was being besieged.

’Akatsuki? They have no motive. If it was Akatsuki, they should have already taken the Tailed Beast away too, but the news only says that the Fourth Kazekage is seriously injured.’

Nagasawa immediately thought of Akatsuki. As the villain organization heavily depicted in the original work, Akatsuki had this strength.

’Not necessarily. Now Akatsuki has begun actions different from the original work. Maybe they want to use this move to strike at the prestige of the great nations?’

Nagasawa thought for a while, but temporarily could not analyze too much from the intelligence given by Sunagakure.

If the intelligence described that the other party had a person who controlled repulsive and attractive forces, or paper Secret Technique, or could use strange masks to release powerful Ninjutsu, then it would be easy to confirm.

But none of these were in the intelligence. There were no traces of any Secret Technique with obvious characteristics.

”Support has to be given. The Five Great Nations are currently in an alliance state, so we have this responsibility.” Nagasawa thought for a moment and said.

He was a little curious about exactly who had hammered the Fourth Kazekage into half-paralysis.

Although the waters of the ninja world were relatively deep, they still could not drown him, someone who had already reached the Six Paths level.

Moreover, support would not be given for free. Sunagakure had to give something in return.

There was a technique on Sunagakure’s side that he was quite curious about, the One’s Own Life Reincarnation that Chiyo had once used to revive Gaara.

This was not within the category of Medical Ninjutsu. Gaara had already died. This was a forbidden technique that could revive the dead.

”Leave this matter to me. I already have a rough candidate in mind.” Nagasawa said.

”Since you already have an idea, then this matter will be left to you.” Minato nodded.

”I have a feeling that there may be a not-so-simple conspiracy behind this.” Minato crossed his fingers upright on the office desk, his expression somewhat solemn.

The Kage of one of the Five Great Ninja Villages being attacked was not a small matter. During a sensitive period, it was enough to trigger a war.

The cause of the outbreak of the Third Shinobi World War was related to the disappearance of the Third Kazekage.

Although this was only the fuse and not the fundamental cause, it was enough to prove the influence of a Kage.

The Five Kage Summit was not long ago, and now the overall tone of the entire ninja world was peace.

At this critical juncture, someone assassinated the Kazekage. It was very difficult for Minato not to think too much.

”It’s fine. At most, it’s just some rats hiding in dark corners. Handling them may encounter some trouble, but it won’t affect the overall situation.” Nagasawa said.

There might still be many existences in the ninja world that he did not know about, but these were all limited in strength. Otherwise, how could the Five Great Nations have always been the strongest in the ninja world?

There was a reason they did not dare to stand in the open. Their strength was insufficient, that was all.

Just like him. If he could become another hundred or so times stronger, then there would basically be nothing to worry about. He would even take the initiative to revive Kaguya.

Why revive Kaguya? Because Kaguya was a member of the Otsutsuki clan. Even if her status was relatively low, the things she knew were definitely far more than Nagasawa.

At present, the only method Nagasawa could think of to obtain Otsutsuki intelligence was Kaguya.

Whether it was the Sage of Six Paths or Black Zetsu, Nagasawa did not think they would know Otsutsuki intelligence.

”Then I’ll leave it to you.” Hearing Nagasawa’s confident words, Minato smiled.

Having a strong person who could suppress everything really felt great. At least there was no need to worry about problems of strength.

Minato felt a sense of urgency in his heart at this moment. After becoming Hokage, the time he used for training was not as much as before, and there were still many official duties for him to handle.

Although Senjutsu, as well as the Haki Nagasawa taught him, had both achieved certain results, compared to the strength Nagasawa had always displayed, they were still somewhat insufficient.

Minato did not hope to be left too far behind by Nagasawa. His Little Sun also had self-esteem.

”Mm.” Nagasawa nodded, chatted with Minato about some irrelevant family matters, then left the Hokage Building and used Flying Thunder God to arrive at the training team’s office.

”Have Kakashi and Inuzuka Midori come over.” Nagasawa instructed.

Not long after, Inuzuka Midori and Kakashi arrived at the office.

”I haven’t been slacking off recently. You can’t punish me randomly.” Before Nagasawa could say anything, Inuzuka Midori took the initiative and spoke first.

Nagasawa was left speechless by her. Wasn’t this basically confessing without being beaten?

Nagasawa waved his hand with some disdain and said, ”Relax, I didn’t call you here this time because there’s some punishment, but because there’s a mission to hand over to you.”

”Yay!” Inuzuka Midori cheered. It was great that her salary would not be deducted and she would not be beaten.

”What mission? Squad Leader Nagasawa, don’t worry. With Midori here, there is no mission that cannot be completed. Even if I bring along Kakashi, this burden, Midori can still smoothly complete the mission.” Inuzuka Midori said confidently.

”Oh, so you’re very brave?” Nagasawa raised his eyebrows. A mere Inuzuka Midori actually dared to be so arrogant. Kakashi had already reached Kage level long ago.

”Hmph hmph, how did you know that I successfully entered Sage Mode yesterday?” Inuzuka Midori said proudly.

”No, before you said it, no one knew at all.” Kakashi said mercilessly.

”What? You even knew that my strength greatly increased after combining Beast Breathing with Imitation Beast Ninjutsu?” Inuzuka Midori looked at the two of them with a shocked expression.

”No, we had absolutely no idea.” Kakashi said without mercy.

Looking at Inuzuka Midori, who was crazily showing off, a neat row of black lines appeared on Nagasawa’s forehead. He directly flashed behind Inuzuka Midori and delivered a righteous chop with his hand, fiercely hitting Inuzuka Midori’s head.

”Stop messing around. This is a serious mission. Listen properly.” Nagasawa fiercely rubbed Inuzuka Midori’s hair and then said.

”The Kazekage of Sunagakure was attacked and has now suffered heavy injuries. So they have asked Konoha for help, wanting our Konoha to help investigate this matter together, and then treat the Kazekage.” Nagasawa briefly explained the reason for the mission.

”We have decided to send a rescue squad to Sunagakure. You are among the candidates. The main task is to protect Tsunade, and also investigate the assassin.”

Inuzuka Midori’s little mouth opened wide, looking as if an entire egg could be stuffed directly inside. She was clearly very shocked.

She had thought it was just an ordinary mission. She had not expected it to involve so much. It was actually the Kazekage being assassinated, and the assassin had almost succeeded.

Was this something that a small training team squad leader like her could hear?

Oh, now a training team squad leader was equal to an Anbu sub-division commander. Then it was fine.

”Moreover, there was only one attacker.” Nagasawa smiled as he looked at Inuzuka Midori. ”Since Squad Leader Inuzuka Midori is so confident, why not send only you alone? I believe an enemy who could defeat the Kazekage would also find it difficult to last three moves in your hands.”

Inuzuka Midori looked at Nagasawa’s brilliant smile, and her originally burning heart instantly cooled down. She wiped away the dense sweat that had appeared on her forehead because of nervousness and revealed a forced smile.

”That wouldn’t be good. Such a good mission is all merit. How could Midori monopolize such great credit? It’s better to let Kakashi and the others come along too.”

”Oh, is that so? Are you that generous? How come I didn’t know?” Nagasawa smiled as he looked at Inuzuka Midori.

”The Inuzuka clan has been very generous for generations.” Inuzuka Midori had already started not knowing what she herself was saying.

”Is that so? The Inuzuka clan has such an excellent tradition? Since that is the case, the training team has been short on funds recently, so please have the generous Squad Leader Inuzuka Midori offer up ten years of your salary.”

”Please absolutely do not do that.” Inuzuka Midori clasped her hands together and looked at Nagasawa with a repentant expression.

”First have Kakashi forgive you. Just now you called him a burden.” Nagasawa said.

Inuzuka Midori looked toward Kakashi, while Kakashi raised his head and looked at the ceiling, as if there was some rare beauty on the ceiling.

”Kakashi-chan, you’re magnanimous, so forgive me, okay?” Inuzuka Midori deliberately pinched her throat and said.

When Kakashi saw Inuzuka Midori acting so coyly, his heart immediately felt a chill, and he quickly said he forgave her.

Although Inuzuka Midori did not look bad, when he thought of what kind of creature this person usually was, Kakashi felt uncomfortable in his heart.

You, a tomboy, insist on learning the charm of a soft girl. Isn’t that deliberately disgusting people?

”You two make preparations first. During the time you leave the village, I will arrange people to handle your affairs.” Nagasawa instructed.

The other party was an existence capable of beating the Kazekage half-paralyzed, so Nagasawa was also preparing to send some experts to escort Tsunade.

In addition to Inuzuka Midori, Nagasawa was also preparing to have Might Guy and his own shadow clone go together.

With this lineup, even if Madara suddenly crawled out of his coffin on the spot, it was not impossible to press Madara back into the coffin again.

After arranging the accompanying guards, Nagasawa went to find Tsunade.

”Going to the Land of Wind? It’s so far, and it’s all sand. So tiring.” Tsunade leaned against the back of the chair, her mouth madly hinting.

”Lady Tsunade, this is a mission concerning two great ninja villages.” Shizune beside her could not help but whisper.

”So what? With that old woman Chiyo there, the Kazekage definitely won’t die. Besides, a few years ago, we were still at war. So what if I don’t treat him?” Tsunade said with an indifferent look.

”The reward for this mission is very high.” Nagasawa instantly understood Tsunade’s thoughts.

It was not refusal, but, add money!

”How high?” Tsunade looked at her fingers and began playing with them, not looking at Nagasawa.

”When the time comes, you can write however much you think you should take.” Nagasawa said with a chuckle.

Now Konoha was very rich. Medical talismans could not be made by anyone else at all and were monopolized by Konoha alone.

”When do we set off? Money or not doesn’t matter. An allied nation’s leader is injured, so we cannot sit by and ignore it.” Hearing Nagasawa’s extremely generous words, Tsunade immediately slapped the table and stood up, speaking with a righteous face.

”Lady Tsunade...” Shizune looked at Tsunade with a complicated expression. You were not saying that just now.

Tsunade patted Shizune’s head without care. Silly child, this was a good opportunity to make big money. It was not shameful.

.........

”Lord Jigen, I have already completed the test. The Kazekage’s strength is about the same as our cadres. He is stronger than Darcy and a little weaker than me. I almost killed the Kazekage, but other experts came later, so I retreated.”

Sugiyama Minato half-knelt on the ground with a respectful expression and reported the results of this mission to Jigen.

In fact, the Fourth Kazekage’s strength was not that much worse than his. The reason it became a one-sided situation, even to the point where he was almost beaten to death by a few punches, was the result of various factors combined. The difference in strength between the two was not that large.

First, Sugiyama Minato had launched a surprise attack and caught Rasa off guard. At that time, Rasa had also not expected that such a strong person was hiding in Sunagakure, so he was injured by Sugiyama Minato at once.

Then, Rasa did not know his intelligence and did not know that their Chakra in the Kāma state was different from ordinary Chakra and possessed extraordinary destructive power. Covering himself with a Gold Dust shield on the spot was simply courting death.

In ninja battles, intelligence was too important. If Rasa had known Sugiyama Minato’s intelligence, he would not have been beaten like this. Even if he lost in the end, it should have been a bitter battle before losing, not a one-sided battle.

After Jigen finished listening, he did not speak. He was eating. Jigen used a metal fork to put the final small piece of beef into his mouth, chewed and swallowed it, then picked up the wine glass filled with red wine and took a shallow sip.

Jigen put down the wine glass, took a white silk handkerchief and gently wiped his lips. Only then did he speak, ”You almost beat the Kazekage to death?”

Jigen felt somewhat doubtful in his heart. What were these ninja villages? A newly established small ninja village beat up their cadres, and then the leader of a great ninja village was beaten up by their cadres.

They all said there was a huge gap between small ninja villages and great ninja villages, but the gap in these words should not be like this, right?

”That’s right. At that time, I was lurking in the dark...” Sugiyama Minato carefully introduced the process of his operation to Jigen.

”I understand. Go down and rest.” Jigen said.

Sugiyama Minato nodded, then obeyed Jigen’s will and walked out.

”The Kage are the strongest of the Five Great Nations, and the strength gap between the Five Great Nations should not be large. If that is the case...” Isshiki felt that the newspapers he had read before were all fake newspapers.

Those news articles praising Fujiwara Nagasawa could not have had exaggeration in them, right?

Isshiki instantly felt a sense of being deceived.

”Should I send someone to test him? If it is really like that, the plan can be accelerated.” Jigen Isshiki’s eyes flickered, and a bold idea appeared in his heart.

The strength of the cadres was actually restricted by him. Otherwise, after inheriting the power of his noble Otsutsuki clan, how could they only have this level of strength?

It was Isshiki who used methods to suppress their strength.

Because Isshiki’s current state was too terrible, he did not dare to let his subordinates be too strong. If he was betrayed, that would be bad.
