I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Lord Darcy is truly diligent. We can always see him in the office area and training field.”

”Yeah, I heard Lord Darcy isn’t even from our Land of Fields. He seems to be from another country. It’s really hard to imagine.”

While working, Darcy, whose hearing was sharp, heard ninja discussing him, but he did not pay attention and instead continued handling affairs wholeheartedly.

His position was the leader of the Jonin squad. Besides that, he was also the minister of the Light Ninja Village Police Department. The Light Ninja Village had only just been established, so he had a lot of work.

Darcy also felt somewhat confused at this moment. Even when he was with Jigen, he had never worked so seriously, because there had simply not been that much work for him.

He worked so seriously not because Nagato had beaten him stupid, making him prepare to abandon Jigen and throw himself into Nagato’s embrace.

Rather, Darcy was afraid that his identity as an undercover agent would be discovered by Nagato, causing the undercover mission to fail.

Darcy keenly sensed that Nagato seemed to pay extra attention to him. This made Darcy somewhat uneasy.

At this time, Nagato’s image in his heart was extremely terrifying. With such powerful strength, it seemed not impossible for him to see through his abnormality.

So in order to dispel Nagato’s suspicion, Darcy took out one hundred percent seriousness to complete all the work of his position, making any Light Ninja who saw it have to raise a thumb and say good.

At the same time, in order to prevent himself from being caught while contacting, Darcy was also even more careful when contacting, and the timing was even more hellish.

”The work is completed well.” Nagato, who had appeared at some unknown time, suddenly spoke.

Darcy subconsciously straightened his back, like an elementary school student who had been called on.

”Lord Yahiko overpraises me. I am only completing the work I should complete.” Darcy quickly answered with a respectful face, feeling extremely fortunate in his heart.

’Good thing I long ago thought of the possibility that he would suddenly come over and did not relax for even a moment. This way, he should not suspect that I am an undercover agent, right?’ Darcy thought.

”Darcy, you are from the Land of Rivers, right?” Nagato suddenly asked.

Because Akatsuki currently lacked one person, and Darcy’s strength was also enough, Nagato had observed Darcy for a period of time to see whether he could recruit him into Akatsuki.

During this period, he had to test Darcy’s personality. If his personality was unsuitable, Nagato would not recruit him.

Now that his legs had recovered and his strength had greatly increased, having one more Kage-level expert was actually only adding flowers to brocade. Having one less would not obstruct Nagato’s grand plan either.

So Nagato needed someone like Kakuzu, Sasori, and Hiruko, who were bold and did not fear the Five Great Nations.

Only this kind of person who did not mind stirring up trouble would not defect after learning Akatsuki’s plan, but would remain at ease in Akatsuki and help Akatsuki cause trouble.

People like Kurosuki Raiga would not do. Once they saw things getting big, they would run.

”Yes, Lord Yahiko, I am from the Land of Rivers.” Darcy froze for a moment and then answered.

’Damn, could it be that he still investigated something? Does he know about the organization?’ Darcy’s heart instantly hung up.

”Then what view do you have of the Five Great Nations? I remember Sunagakure and Konoha once fought in the Land of Rivers during the war.” Nagato continued testing.

Nagato shifted the topic from the Land of Rivers to the Five Great Nations. Darcy’s heart relaxed slightly, but he remained vigilant, thinking about why Nagato would ask this question.

Darcy expanded his thinking from the point that Nagato suspected him of being a spy.

’Could it be that he not only suspects I am a spy, but even suspects my identity as a Land of Rivers person, suspecting that I am a spy of the Five Great Nations?’ Darcy thought inwardly.

Darcy thought for a moment, then said, ”The Five Great Nations are all sinful countries. They clearly possess the strongest strength, but are still not satisfied with it. They always start wars, bringing much suffering to the ninja world.”

Since Nagato suspected him of being a spy of the Five Great Nations, then he would fiercely curse the Five Great Nations, acting like the leader of their haters. This should dispel suspicion, right?

In order to dispel Nagato’s suspicion, Darcy racked his brains and cursed everything about the Five Great Nations that could be cursed. Even things that could not be cursed, he still bit the bullet and sprayed them fiercely, making even Nagato somewhat surprised. He had not known that the Five Great Nations actually had so many sins he had not discovered.

’He has such deep hatred for the Five Great Nations. If he joins the plan, he should act very actively.’ Nagato looked at Darcy and felt that this kid might be quite suitable for Akatsuki.

Feeling Nagato’s emotionless gaze staring at him, Darcy’s heart thumped, feeling somewhat bad.

’Was I a little too exaggerated just now? Did I use too much force and instead arouse his suspicion?’ Darcy thought uneasily.

’No, I cannot fall here. The major intelligence I obtained today has not yet been reported to Lord Jigen.’ Darcy crazily thought of countermeasures.

He had only discovered today that besides Nagato, there were actually three other fairly powerful Light Ninja Village higher-ups in the Light Ninja Village. Conservative estimates put all of them at the strength of the organization’s cadres.

This made Darcy deeply feel uneasy. Those were cadres. Their organization, including him, only had three cadres.

And this small newly established small ninja village actually had one with strength far beyond cadre level, and three at cadre level. What kind of ninja world joke was this?

A newly established small ninja village had this kind of strength, and the village still taught the ninja every day that the great nations could not be provoked, how terrifying the great nations were, and so on.

Then how strong were the true Five Great Ninja Villages? Darcy did not dare imagine. In order to prevent the organization from misjudging the strength of the ninja villages and suffering losses, Darcy felt that even if he died, he had to transmit this intelligence first before dying.

”Actually, the Five Great Nations are not without any merit. They also understand how to learn lessons. The arrival of peace in the ninja world now may be them learning lessons from history.” Darcy remedied.

Listening to Darcy begin speaking for the Five Great Nations again, Nagato frowned. What was with this guy? Just now, he looked like the Five Great Nations had killed his entire family and hated them, but in the blink of an eye, he became a rational neutral.

’I’ll observe him for some more days.’ Nagato, who had originally prepared to invite Darcy into Akatsuki, decided to observe him for a few more days.

Nagato did not say goodbye to Darcy. Just as he had suddenly come, he suddenly left again. Darcy diligently worked for a period of time and, seeing that nothing abnormal happened, finally relaxed.

’Fortunately, Lord Jigen sent me. If it were other cadres, they probably would have been exposed and killed long ago.’ Darcy thought somewhat proudly.

Going undercover under a super-strong person far beyond cadre strength was not easy. Darcy felt that the fact he had never been exposed was entirely thanks to his intelligence and wisdom. If someone else came, it definitely would not work.

After returning home and waiting until an extremely hellish time, Darcy cautiously and carefully observed that he was not being monitored, then contacted Jigen again.

Looking at the man wearing a white hagoromo, sitting on a chair with an elegant posture, Darcy’s phantom respectfully called, ”Lord Jigen.”

Isshiki’s expression did not change, and he asked indifferently, ”Is there any new intelligence?”

”Yes, there is major intelligence to report to you.” Darcy said with a solemn expression.

”In order to obtain this intelligence, I was even suspected by that Light Ninja leader. If not for my extremely strong reaction ability, I’m afraid I would have been exposed and killed by him. Even now, he may still suspect me a little.”

”Oh, speak.” Isshiki’s expression still did not change, and he said calmly.

”Besides a Light Ninja leader who can instantly kill me, the Light Ninja Village also has three Light Ninja higher-ups. All those Light Ninja higher-ups have the strength of our cadres.” Darcy quickly said.

”Lord Jigen, the plan to erode the Five Great Ninja Villages must be cautious and then cautious again. The strength of the Five Great Ninja Villages may far exceed our imagination.

You must know, the Light Ninja Village, which has three cadres and one with strength above cadres, now constantly publicizes in the village that the Five Great Nations are terrifying in all kinds of ways. The strength of the Five Great Nations can be imagined.” Darcy said with a solemn face.

Isshiki: ...

He suspected that either Darcy or Sugiyama Minato was deceiving him.

How was it that on one side, Sugiyama Minato almost beat the Kazekage to death and returned easily, while on the other side, Darcy described the strength of the Light Ninja Village and talked about the terrifying strength of the Five Great Nations?

Although they were his own cadres, Isshiki did not completely trust them. After all, even Kaguya, who was also an Otsutsuki, had betrayed him. Who else could not betray him?

In his view, natives also could not be trusted and could only be used.

That was why Isshiki had tampered with the cadres’ bodies and restricted the strength of their Kāma.

If he did not restrict their strength, Isshiki feared that these natives would devour him in return.

Because Jigen’s body could not completely carry Isshiki’s power, if Isshiki conducted high-level combat, that would be suicide.

If he released all his power, he would die after fighting.

The cadres’ strength was set by Isshiki within a very delicate range. Even if all three cadres attacked together, Isshiki could defeat them without deeply releasing his power. But under this premise, the cadres had very strong suppression power against ordinary ninja and would not be unable to help him handle matters.

”Are you sure this intelligence is true?” Isshiki asked indifferently. He did not tell Darcy that another cadre had gone to test the Five Great Nations, and the conclusion was completely opposite to his. Instead, he asked Darcy whether the intelligence was guaranteed true or not.

”I am sure. This is what I personally saw and personally sensed. How could there be a mistake?” Darcy said seriously.

”Then continue lurking and investigate more intelligence. Be careful not to be discovered.” Isshiki said calmly.

Even if he guessed that a cadre might have betrayed him, Isshiki could still maintain elegance instead of questioning in anger. This was the cultivation of the noble Otsutsuki clan.

”Yes, Lord Jigen. I will pay attention.” After saying this, Darcy took his leave, and the blue phantom disappeared before Isshiki’s eyes.

”Where exactly is the problem? Did Sugiyama Minato betray me, did Darcy betray me, did both of them betray me, or did neither of them betray me?” Isshiki sank into deep thought.

He felt that the possibility of Darcy betraying him was a little higher. The intelligence on his side was somewhat too exaggerated and looked very much like fake news.

The Land of Fields was not some famous powerful small country. How could there be so many people with cadre-level strength?

If an ordinary small country that was unknown in the ninja world had such strength, why had he not seen experts of this level in the Land of Rivers?

”However, it is not impossible on Sugiyama Minato’s side either.” Isshiki thought for a moment, then got up and had his subordinates notify the cadre to come over.

Darcy was lurking, and Sugiyama Minato had suspicion of betrayal. Then he could only send the final cadre to the Land of Fire to test it.

The Land of Fire was currently publicly recognized as the strongest great nation in the ninja world, and Konoha was also publicly recognized as the strongest ninja village. Konoha’s Hokage Assistant Fujiwara Nagasawa even had the title of the number one expert.

However, after Sugiyama Minato said he had almost beaten the Kazekage to death, Isshiki felt that there might be a lot of exaggeration in those rumors about Nagasawa.

”Lord Jigen.”

A person with graying temples, but a straight back and walking with wind, looking full of vigor, entered the room and respectfully addressed Isshiki.

”Kinoshita Tsukasa, I need you to go to Konoha in the Land of Fire and test Konoha’s strength. Whether it is Konoha’s Hokage or Hokage Assistant will do.” Isshiki said indifferently.

Kinoshita Tsukasa was the oldest of the three cadres and was now over forty years old. However, because he had used the power of Kāma, he looked somewhat like an old man in his sixties.

But Kinoshita Tsukasa was also the strongest of the three cadres. He had already developed the Kāma under Isshiki’s restrictions to the extreme.

”Understood. I will bring the intelligence you need.” Kinoshita Tsukasa prepared to immediately set off for the Land of Fire.

In Isshiki’s organization, the longer someone stayed, the more they worshipped Isshiki like a god, because the power of time seemed ineffective against Isshiki.

Like Kinoshita Tsukasa. When he was ten years old, Jigen looked like this. When he became like an old man in his sixties, Jigen’s appearance still had not changed in the slightest. Not even one wrinkle had increased.

This naturally made Kinoshita Tsukasa revere Isshiki as a god.

”Wait, I will grant you more power to facilitate your operation.” Isshiki stopped Kinoshita Tsukasa, who was preparing to leave.

He prepared to release Kinoshita Tsukasa’s restrictions and no longer limit Kinoshita Tsukasa’s Kāma, using this to increase his strength.

Those rumors about Nagasawa’s strength still had some effect on him.

Of course, it was also because Kinoshita Tsukasa would not live much longer. His body was already like this, and if he used even stronger Kāma, it would be suicide.

In the end, he was still the product of a failed experiment. Although he had accepted his Kāma to a certain extent, he still could not endure this blessing from a higher being.

After Kinoshita Tsukasa heard Isshiki’s words, he revealed an excited expression. His strength had not improved for a very long time, as if his talent could only reach this point. Now Isshiki was actually willing to help him increase his strength. He was extremely excited.

After Isshiki helped Kinoshita Tsukasa release the restrictions on his body, Kinoshita Tsukasa instantly felt that the bottleneck that had always restricted him had disappeared.

Kinoshita Tsukasa excitedly knelt on the ground and thanked Isshiki for his reward. The strength that had not moved for so long suddenly increased, making him truly too happy.

”Thank you for your help, Lord Jigen. I definitely will not let down your expectations and will complete the mission perfectly.” Kinoshita Tsukasa knelt and thanked him.

Isshiki nodded with an indifferent face.

Kinoshita Tsukasa excitedly walked out of the room, his fists clenched, his mind filled entirely with the power of his new breakthrough.

”The Hokage or Hokage Assistant? Since Lord Jigen wants it, then I will attack both once!” At this moment, Kinoshita Tsukasa had an inexplicable confidence in his heart.
