I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”The capital, finally arrived.” Itachi looked at the bustling big city in front of him and lightly sighed. Immediately after, Itachi did not think too much and unhurriedly walked into the most prosperous city of the Land of Fire, also the political center of the Land of Fire, the capital of the Land of Fire.

The capital was even more prosperous than Itachi had imagined. All kinds of high-rise buildings were very common. On the streets were all kinds of shops, and there was a large flow of people on the streets. Among them were travelers like Itachi, curiously looking around everywhere, there were also workers with hurried steps, and there were also nobles wearing gorgeous clothes and bringing guards around to wander blindly.

Itachi first found an inn, then walked around near the inn. After familiarizing himself with the nearby roads, he returned to the inn.

After returning to the inn, Itachi took out paper and pen and began to write a letter.

After writing some honorifics and greetings at the beginning, Itachi paused for a bit, then began writing the main text.

What he wanted to write was precisely his encounter in the previous small town. Although Shadow Clone Nagasawa knew about this matter.

But only after a Shadow Clone disappeared would the memories and experience flow back to the main body, so Nagasawa’s main body still did not know what had happened on Itachi’s side.

”Thank you for the suggestion you gave. Coming out to travel around the Ninja World can indeed teach things that cannot be learned from books, and can also let one see things that cannot be seen in normal life. Although the journey is still short, the harvest has been quite abundant.”

Itachi wrote carefully word by word, the handwriting extremely neat and clear.

In that small town, in various senses, he could be said to have gained quite a lot.

In terms of money, although Shijo Kaori often pestered him, she also issued him quite a few commissions, allowing him to earn quite a lot of money. After the final incident ended, she also gave him a considerable sum of money. Overall, for the next journey, he did not need to consider the problem of not having enough money to spend.

Aside from money, Itachi’s strength also had a not small improvement. He had the two-tomoe Sharingan, his observation greatly increased, and his Genjutsu ability greatly strengthened.

In addition, Itachi also had more understanding of reality. This incident gave him a deeper understanding of people.

”But while gaining a lot, I also encountered quite a few difficult problems...” When Itachi wrote up to here, he also frowned.

Before encountering this incident, Itachi had never thought that a rumor could actually cause such great power.

Even that woman in the rumor was fabricated. As long as someone was really willing to investigate, discovering the truth would not be difficult.

And that person hidden in the dark had only spent money to buy off a few people and have them testify for each other, yet unexpectedly, no one suspected anything.

Even Itachi himself later, after Shijo Kaori was injured, personally saw someone die on the ground, and also had killing intent toward Shijo Hayashi.

He did not understand why those civilians were willing to believe such a rumor, and why it spread so quickly, as if everyone was happily discussing it.

Even after the Shijo family forcefully announced that this was a rumor, it intensified even more.

If Itachi himself encountered this kind of matter alone, he would first investigate whether the matter was true or false, and after confirming it, then make a decision.

He did not understand why those people would adopt this kind of method, not investigating the truth and just randomly talking with the people around them, causing the matter to gradually become outrageous.

He also did not quite understand why the civilians distrusted the Shijo family so much, treating the evidence investigated by the Shijo family as cover-up, and everything the Shijo family did as shielding.

He also did not understand Shijo Hayashi. Just what had to happen to a person’s reputation for it to become a matter where, when a rumor was spread, it was taken as a matter of course?

In this matter, Itachi had too many things he did not understand.

It was just like he did not understand why everyone clearly lived well, yet war had to happen.

Clearly, it was not like there was no food to eat, so why fight a war? Everyone was clearly living well, so why launch a war and kill each other?

Nagasawa had explained it to him, but Nagasawa’s explanation was still a little complicated for the current him, and it was very difficult for Itachi to understand.

Itachi could only understand it simply, comparing the Ninja World to a piece of cake. The Five Great Nations were the people dividing the cake, but they were not satisfied with the cake on their own plates and wanted a bigger cake.

As for other deeper-level things, Itachi found it very difficult to comprehend. After all, he was only an eight-year-old child.

If you talked to him about protecting the village, he understood. That was to defeat all enemies that harmed the village’s existence. If you talked to him about economic base, superstructure, and contradictions, then he would be stunned.

When the words were separated, he recognized them all, but when they were combined together, he did not know what they meant.

After writing it, Itachi let out a long breath, packed the letter, and prepared to send it out later. He would stay in the capital for a period of time, so he should be able to wait for a reply.

To be honest, Itachi actually felt this was a little silly. Clearly, he knew Nagasawa’s Shadow Clone was secretly following him, but he also could not go find Nagasawa to answer his doubts.

Because he simply could not find Nagasawa. Nagasawa would not let him find him.

Since Nagasawa said he would only appear when there was a fatal crisis, then it should be like this. Itachi still understood Nagasawa somewhat.

At certain times, such as regarding his safety, Nagasawa might, for the sake of his growth, superficially fool him and say he definitely would not arrange anyone to protect him, but in reality send a Shadow Clone to follow him.

This was a well-intentioned lie.

But the vast majority of the time, Nagasawa’s words still had much credibility.

”Could it be that Teacher Nagasawa is actually training my ability to think independently?” A flash of inspiration crossed Itachi’s mind.

Nagasawa also often said that people must learn to think independently. What others say is not necessarily right, and what one thinks oneself is not necessarily wrong.

Now Itachi hesitated over whether to send the letter out.

In the end, Itachi still felt that Nagasawa doing this definitely had his intention, so he did not send the letter out, but properly put it away, preparing to show it to Nagasawa when he returned to Konoha, to see whether Nagasawa’s explanation was the same as the answer he obtained through his own thinking.

”As expected of Teacher Nagasawa, even this was within his expectations?” Itachi felt that he had comprehended Nagasawa’s deep meaning.

Not far away, Nagasawa’s Shadow Clone, who was wandering around an ice cream shop, sneezed.

”Did the main body do some wicked thing that made people curse him again?” The Shadow Clone was somewhat puzzled.

”Forget it. It’s not easy to come to the capital once. Eat first. The main body hasn’t even come before.”

...

Hikari Ninja Village was developing in full swing. Relying on a large number of Ninjutsu and Secret Techniques, not only did it gather a large number of ninjas from the Land of Rice Fields, it also harvested a large amount of wealth.

Some ninjas from other small countries came after hearing the news, and Nagato also did not mind in the slightest. Whether you were from the Land of Rice Fields or not, as long as you were a ninja, he accepted you.

Nagato’s policy was also very open-minded. In any case, the ninja village had just been established. Whoever was strong would have a higher position.

As long as you were strong enough, even if you joined the ninja village for one day, becoming the minister of some department was also not out of the question.

And today, a ruthless person came to Hikari Ninja Village, a ruthless person who defeated all the assessment examiners in one move.

Darcy was from the Land of Rivers. Since childhood, he had been an orphan. His parents had both died in war.

Later, Darcy was captured by Isshiki’s people and became an experimental subject for Isshiki’s experiment with Karma.

Perhaps the heavens pitied Darcy’s ill-fated destiny. Although the experiment did not succeed, he strangely did not die in the experiment and could bear a portion of Karma’s power. Thus, he became Isshiki’s capable subordinate, one of the three major cadres under Isshiki.

Although Darcy had been captured by Isshiki’s subordinates, he did not develop any resentment toward Isshiki. Instead, he regarded Isshiki as a role like a ”father,” like his own savior.

Although he was an experimental subject, it was still much better than wandering outside. At least he would be given enough food to eat, and Isshiki did not lack this bit of money.

Then Isshiki also let him obtain powerful strength, enabling him to become a ninja with forever powerful strength, which made him even more grateful.

From Darcy’s perspective, Isshiki was a great benevolent person who let him eat full meals and also let him obtain strength. It was no wonder he regarded Isshiki as a father-like role, even if Isshiki had never shown any closeness.

This time, Isshiki wanted to strengthen his own forces. While strengthening his own forces in the Land of Rivers homeland, he also sent subordinates to corrode weaker small ninja villages.

Isshiki did not need to control the entire ninja village. He only needed this ninja village to be willing to do some things for him.

And Darcy was Isshiki’s first attempt to corrode a ninja village.

As someone who inherited part of his power, Isshiki had sufficient confidence in Darcy.

With Otsutsuki power, conquering this kind of existence that was considered weak even among natives, would it not be easy?

Because Hikari Ninja Village had already stated that positions were determined by strength, and Darcy’s purpose was originally to become part of Hikari Ninja Village’s higher-ups, he did not hide it. He directly erupted with all his normal-state strength and instantly defeated Hikari Ninja Village’s assessment ninja in one move.

The Hikari Ninja Village ninja recording at the side had his eyes light up and hurriedly asked, ”This lord, your name is?”

”Darcy.” Darcy said lightly.

”According to the strength you displayed, you can directly become a Jonin of Hikari Ninja Village. At the same time, you can also freely choose a high-level position in a certain department.” The Hikari Ninja Village ninja quickly said, then took out a form.

Although deciding positions according to strength caused everyone to go all out, someone as fierce as Darcy, he had not seen much. He felt there was a flavor of a Great Ninja Village’s Jonin.

Of course, he had also never truly faced a Great Ninja Village’s Jonin, otherwise he would not have lived until now.

”If you are still not satisfied with these, I recommend you go find Leader Yahiko. I believe that when he sees you have such strength, he will also give you a position more suitable for you.” The Hikari Ninja Village ninja said.

He also hoped Darcy was even more powerful. This way, he could be considered to have helped do a bit of work, and in the future, wouldn’t he be promoted a little and given some benefits?

Darcy nodded without even thinking.

In his heart, what did the leader of Hikari Ninja Village count as? Could his strength be stronger than his?

If killing the ninja village leader could make him the ninja village leader, he would now fight his way to Hikari Ninja Village’s leader building.

Under the lead of the recording Hikari Ninja, Darcy was brought to the leader building of Hikari Ninja Village.

Darcy also saw Yahiko, the Hikari Ninja leader who created Hikari Ninja Village.

At the first sight of Yahiko, what Darcy thought was, where did this trendy man come from? Why was his face full of all kinds of nails? Thus, the contempt in his heart grew even stronger, feeling that this kind of small ninja village seemed to have no value in corroding.

His eyes were quite strange. Could it be some kind of Kekkei Genkai?

However, no matter what Kekkei Genkai it was, it could not compare to the divine power from Lord Jigen on his body!

”Oh, powerful strength?” Listening to the Hikari Ninja’s words, Pain looked at Darcy and saw that hidden contempt in his eyes.

”Hehe.” Pain let out a disdainful laugh.

”Compared to you, Leader, it naturally cannot be considered powerful, but this is also the strongest one among those who have recently joined the ninja village.” The Hikari Ninja said with a serious expression.

If pleasing Darcy was for obtaining some benefits in the future, then what the Hikari Ninja said now was truly sincere.

Because Nagato had indeed brought them a huge shock. The enormous destruction caused by Nagato and Obito’s attacks shocked every Hikari Ninja Village ninja.

Those huge meteorites falling from the sky one after another, the recording Hikari Ninja guaranteed that if that thing appeared on the daimyo’s side, then there would definitely be no one who could block it, and the daimyo would directly be finished.

The battlefield of Nagato and Obito brought them too great an impact: collapsed mountain peaks, sunken ground, and those huge pits one after another.

They, these Land of Rice Fields ninjas, truly found it very difficult to imagine that this was the destructive power ninjas should have.

Everyone was breaking a few trees and shattering stones. Why, when it came to you, could even mountains not withstand being made?

In addition, Nagato’s slogans were very bright, such as revitalizing the Land of Rice Fields and letting small countries also have status.

Strength plus a deliberately created persona, Nagato had quite a few admirers in Hikari Ninja Village.

It was also because Nagato considered the influence afterward and cleaned up the battlefield, otherwise, perhaps there would be people going there every day to feel the leader’s strength.

”I will let you know true power, and then arrange your position according to your strength.” Nagato said lightly, then walked out.

Darcy looked at the strangely dressed small ninja village leader in front of him actually being so arrogant, and his desire to fight was also stirred up.

”True power. Indeed, after the battle ends, I think someone will understand.” Darcy said, then followed him out.

As the leader, Nagato naturally attracted much attention when he came out. Many people curiously wondered what Nagato and Darcy were going to do.

Nagato chose one training ground in Hikari Ninja Village as the battlefield.

It was said to be a training ground, but it was just a cleared empty space. However, its range was very large.

Nagato looked at Darcy with a calm expression and said, ”Make your move. You only have this one chance.”

Hearing the leader of a small force he looked down on say such words, Darcy instantly felt humiliated.

Under great anger, Darcy directly activated a portion of Karma’s power inside his body. Some strange white patterns appeared on his face and hands, and at the same time, the aura on his body surged. Enormous strength erupted, and his entire person seemed like a fired bullet, his speed extremely fast.

Sensing Darcy, who had suddenly become stronger, even Nagato’s originally indifferent expression moved somewhat.

Just now, Darcy was clearly only at the level of an ordinary Jonin, yet his aura suddenly skyrocketed, and his strength could be said to be approaching Kage-level.

Although this kind of strength could still be crushed to death with one hand by Nagato, the things represented within it were too many.

Why would a person with such strong strength come join a newly established small ninja village? With this kind of strength, establishing a small ninja village by himself would be enough.

If Nagato were preparing to properly develop the ninja village, he would naturally strictly investigate this kind of person.

But Nagato was not. He had directly made the stronger ones take high positions, so why would he still care about this?

Give him a lesson, then train him a bit. Maybe he would be useful in the future. Thinking of this, Nagato slowly floated up, preparing to suppress him.
